Pros

We are an international law firm with offices in 11 U.S. cities, handling state tax issues in six states. We switched from ADP to CORT (now NuView) back in 1997 and I've been the payroll supervisor since 2000. CORT/NuView payroll is the most flexible and customizable system I've ever used. You can tailor pay codes, deduction codes and more using their "comp defs" (computation definitions), allowing you to adjust pay and deductions to your specific needs without needing outside specialists to do it for you. This saves both time and money. One of the most useful features is their spreadsheet function which I rely on heavily. You can pull data from almost any field in your database, including custom data fields and export it directly to Excel for analysis. I rated customer support five stars because there wasn't an option for six. The CORT/NuView team has been with us for years, knows their product and payroll principles inside and out and provides the most responsive support I've experienced with any software. If your company is considering adding this product to your payroll system, you won't regret it. Once you implement it, you won't want to switch to anything else.
