User-friendly tool simplifies daily tasks

Pros

When I used Pave, I found the interface very user-friendly, which made handling daily tasks and compensation pretty easy.

Cons

I have noticed there are not enough detailed elements in its benchmarking and budget tools, which affects key requirements.

Machine learning improves market insights

Pros

I really like Pave's user-friendly interface as it makes complex HR tasks easier to manage. In short it's become a great tool for handling compensation and clearly communicating pay and total rewards to employees. What impresses me most is that it doesn't just show static salary tables but it uses machine learning and smart modeling to improve job matches and provide useful market insights. Setup was also pretty easy, all thanks to clear, step by step instructions.

Cons

One drawback is that its benchmark data is not always as detailed as I'd prefer and in my experience it can sometimes lack precision. Also they frequently do not include up to date benchmarks for specialties like growth marketing and DevOps and I would really appreciate more clearly separated definitions for IC versus leadership roles to make comparisons more actionable.

Up-to-date data lacks market depth

Pros

Pave's interface is very user-friendly and the data is always up to date which makes it even better. Also it is easy to filter results by location, company size, or type and getting started was not a problem too. I find it especially useful when I need to find pay ranges across multiple countries. Since our team is split between Canada and the U.S, it helps me clearly separate ranges by country and even by specific locations.

Cons

The database is not as thorough as what you get from vendors like Radford. And they really need more customers to improve their sample sizes. Also I notice the platform lacks the same level of detail and precision that Radford or Culpepper offer and that can matter a lot for smaller companies in niche markets.

No more digging through spreadsheets

Pros

One of the biggest advantages of Pave is that it makes compensation data easy to read and compare. I mean no more digging through endless spreadsheets. Salary benchmarks are also clear and help keep pay ranges consistent. Also it saves a lot of time during planning because everything is neatly organized in one place, which helps keep everyone aligned and informed during budget talks.

Cons

I've noticed it has a nice interface but it sometimes requires more steps than necessary to get to the specific details I need and it could use more flexibility when customizing reports and export options.

clean interface with accurate data

Pros

I'm really impressed with the clean interface and it's incredibly user-friendly. Also the information is refreshed all the time and I feel completely comfortable relying on the data's accuracy.

Cons

There is not a lot I dislike but I'd like them to keep expanding the country coverage. As we still work in several markets where they don't yet provide any data.

Transparency replaces spreadsheet juggling

Pros

This tool is the best for managing compensation and benefits across my company including stock options, total pay and bonuses. Plus it brings transparency and order to how we plan pay. The compensation cycle workflow stands out too as it keeps everything in one place and enforces consistent standards, so we no longer have to juggle spreadsheets or make manual edits. Linking roles, levels and pay plans feels natural and easy to navigate, though some prep work is still needed.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features like creating pay bands, setting up leveling frameworks or defining budget rules for different teams took me a while to learn. As they are not very user friendly and require time to master. It would also help if the product had built-in tooltips or a guided setup. We even integrate with Thrive and Workday but as far as I can tell, they don't sync properly.

Quick salary comparison by role

Pros

It displays the minimum, maximum and average salaries for people in my role and area, which lets me quickly tell whether I'm being underpaid, overpaid or paid appropriately. Honestly, that's the feature I find most valuable and use the most.

Cons

I notice that it automatically uses the latest funding valuation to calculate values. But I wish I could easily enter my own valuation instead. It would also be great to have the option to manually set the per-share value, so total compensation updates based on that. As that way, I could see what my pay looks like using a valuation that feels right to me. Other than that, everything else works well.

Modern fast interface

Pros

Pave offers the best user experience. The interface is modern, fast and user friendly making daily use simple and smooth. The whole platform looks clean and well-designed and I can easily check pay and equity details without any training. Customer support is also excellent and quick to respond.

Cons

Overall the tool is great but the market data is not equally strong in all regions or for all job types. And as a multinational company, we sometimes find gaps in coverage and have to use other sources to fill them in.

clean, user-friendly UI

Pros

I can clearly see my total compensation and I'm able to tweak the stock price for a pre-IPO company to observe how changes in valuation impact my overall pay. The UI is also clean and user friendly.

Cons

Stocks are shown grant by grant which is limiting. I'd like the option to see an overall stock balance across all grants, instead of just a breakdown per grant.

A great platform for compensation benchmarking

Pros

It is a great platform for compensation benchmarking as it makes comparing salaries, equity and benefits simple. The interface is also easy to use and the live data gives admins and managers clear insights to make fair, competitive pay decisions. I even like the smart visuals, which make it easy to present market trends and recommendations to stakeholders. Using Pave helps us stay aligned with industry standards. The Total Rewards feature is also very useful as it helps engage candidates and employees and spot growth opportunities.

Cons

I have not found many drawbacks. As they consistently listen to feedback and roll out updates that improve the product for both end users and administrators. Their team is approachable and willing to dive into detailed conversations about how to improve features and workflows which gives me confidence they'll keep refining the platform.

Painless implementation with excellent support

Pros

I have rolled out Paves Total Rewards portal and Team view at two different companies. Over the past year, I have used their market data including equity benchmarking and the bands tool more and more and they have been incredibly helpful. I have also noticed the compensation planning tool has matured and may now have everything I need, so I'm seriously thinking of rolling it out to another team. I can already see our leaders liking its interface for that. Both implementations were organized and mostly painless and the technical support was excellent both times first with Natan, then with Garrett. Both were fantastic. Plus it keeps making it easier for me to update things on my own. The security features have been especially useful as I can't share pay ranges with leaders in Workday the way I'd like but it makes it simple to set the right access controls. I personally use it multiple times a week to check a pay range or review an employees full rewards package because it's so much more user-friendly than Workday. I also use it to benchmark new roles. It's not my only source but it's a key one. With offer data from Greenhouse and equity benchmarking now included, it feels even more valuable. I honestly think it is becoming the go-to market data source for many comp pros. What I appreciate most is how responsive they are to feedback as they listen, make thoughtful updates, iterate quickly and are always improving the platform.

Cons

There are a few features I'd like to see added, such as custom peer groups and greater flexibility in how pay bands are displayed but overall I've been very pleased especially since the team regularly improves and refines the product.

easy tools

Pros

The team's support has been absolutely outstanding. They are always pushing out fresh features and actively help our team make the most of everything the platform provides. Plus their webinars and community tools have been incredibly useful when I need help or want to learn more about how things work.

Cons

Its market benchmark data is less detailed and dependable compared with what I've seen from other providers.

Visual design simplifies merit cycles

Pros

With Pave, I have seen it take compensation benchmarking and merit reviews out of unmanageable spreadsheets and put them into easy to use tools so people teams can add notes and get approvals more smoothly. I also like that it offers a clean way to send offer letters and show total compensation to staff. Also their support team is incredibly responsive and open to suggestions. Over the past few years, I have watched the product improve dramatically.

Cons

I like that it covers a wide range of needs but it's not free as you do have to pay for it. But even it is not the cheapest option but in our experience, the benefits and efficiency gains have made it worth the cost.

Perfect balance of functionality insight

Pros

The visual design is spot-on as it makes managing compensation during merit cycles and other tasks really easy. It is also customizable, so I can set it up the way I want.

Cons

To be honest I don't really have any complaints but more of a wish that they do offer Mexico salary data but it's based on Mexico City rates, which are higher and don't reflect the market in Yucatan. So I'd love to see region-specific salary data for Mexico someday.

Data-driven approach boosts retention

Pros

Adopting Pave has completely changed how we handle compensation at our company. The platform seems amazing as it is always evolving with smart new features that show a real understanding of what People leaders need to succeed. Implementation was easy too and integrating it with our existing systems went well, so we got up and running quickly with little disruption. The customer success team deserves special recognition as they truly feel like part of our team. They are always responsive, knowledgeable and proactive in helping us. Managers rely on it as a key resource, often using it outside of formal review cycles to make smart decisions about pay and team planning. Our leadership team is more empowered than ever as they are making competitive, data-driven decisions while staying within budget. In my view, it strikes the perfect balance between hands-on functionality and strategic insight. It is more than a tool. I would say it is a trusted partner in creating a rewarding employee experience. Overall, I am extremely happy with the direction and support we've received. I couldn't be more impressed with both the product and the people behind it.

Cons

No cons to share at all. As we have only worked with them on a few small updates so far but my experience has been excellent. What stands out most is how proactively they communicate about the enhancements we have asked for as it really feels like a true collaboration, not just a typical vendor relationship. I am encouraged by their efforts to add new features so the platform can support more teams beyond compensation, like Talent Acquisition. They are working on showing historical band data and variance and planning an executive view to help visualize changes at the department level. And I really appreciate that they are listening, improving and keeping us updated as it makes the partnership feel genuinely collaborative.

Impressive planning with excellent support

Pros

Pave is the best tool for simplifying how we manage compensation. It helped us become more transparent, boost employee engagement and improve retention. and because it is so data-driven, our team can now take a more strategic approach to pay and that has directly supported company growth and helped us keep top performers. As someone leading compensation efforts, I have come to rely on it as a key part of how we keep getting better.

Cons

Well I wish they offered built-in data analytics as adding that would make the platform much more powerful for our team. Right now, I have to export data or use other tools to analyze trends. Having those features inside it would streamline our work and add even more value.
