“Valuable insights for building a strong recruiting process

Pros

The insights we've gained about candidates have been incredibly valuable for building a strong recruiting process. I feel much more confident that we truly understand who we're bringing on board and can ensure we're hiring the right people. We've also found it useful for learning and development with our existing team. It's become the foundation for creating development plans for our first level supervisors and managers, helping them grow into better leaders. The customer support is honestly the best I've experienced with any vendor. Our Customer Success Manager, William Lewis, has been amazing, so attentive, helpful and patient as we've rolled everything out. Our meetings with him are productive but also genuinely enjoyable. He keeps tabs on our account and checks in regularly to make sure everything's running smoothly. He was also incredibly patient during all those benchmarking sessions with our managers before I felt comfortable handling benchmarking myself. We've actually joked that we need to find more people like Will for our software division.

Cons

We don't feel as confident in the questions the assessment asks to measure motivation results. The questions don't seem to capture all the ways someone could be motivated, whether by people, data or things. For example, the questions to gauge people motivation mainly focus on physically taking care of someone. Benchmarking can also be a painstaking process, needing to benchmark every position during implementation. I think it might be unavoidable without sacrificing quality but it's something to note. I'd love to see more reports or ways to use this for employees after hire, maybe more reports around development.
