“All payroll data in one place”
Pros
Push Operations makes checking pay stubs, hours and schedules super simple because everything's in one place. Also the app has a clean interface and is handy when I need quick access to my pay details without reaching out to HR. I aso like the openness it offers and that all my payroll info is kept on a single platform.
Cons
That said, every now and then the app loads a bit slow and some features are not as user-friendly as they could be. It would also help if notifications were clearer and deductions were broken down in more detail.

“Simple use without the headaches”
Pros
What I like is how simple it is to use. Also the problems I used to face with other providers simply don't show up here.
Cons
I do notice that the reporting can sometimes be a little hard to understand.

“Everything needed was there”
Pros
Using it has been great! I struggled at first switching from our previous scheduling and management apps since everything felt so new but this app has turned out to be excellent for checking schedules, viewing paystubs and more. I honestly have everything I need right in the app!
Cons
Nothing major but I think the chat feature could use some improvement to be more reliable.

“Connects locations with easy scheduler”
Pros
It connects well with our different locations and brand concepts. Payroll is also simple especially Stat Pay and remittances. The scheduler is also user friendly, effective and easy to learn and use.
Cons
One thing that frustrates me is how limited the Forms section is. For example, we have a menu guide for onboarding that lists allergies and ingredients. And everyone must review it before they can be scheduled. But after we update the guide, team members who already completed onboarding canont see the new version but only the one they originally reviewed which is frustrating. I am also annoyed that there is no central document library. We have been using the Forms section as a workaround but I'd much rather have a proper library where I can update documents regularly, notify staff of changes and track version history.

“Accurate payroll but confusing navigation”

What I like is that the time clock and payroll sync are spot-on. Overall it's incredibly accurate when processing payroll.

I often find myself getting lost when navigating the department sub-menus.

“Helpful support yet difficult setup”
Pros
I like that it automatically calculates statutory pay for employees. I can also bulk-import things like earnings and deductions which makes payroll much faster. Plus, the support phone line responds quickly when I call for help.
Cons
Well the platform is not very simple as it can feel overwhelming because there is almost too much information and too many reports. There are lots of features but many go unused and some of the terms are confusing. Also certain data cannot be imported and has to be entered manually. Customer service tickets have stayed open for weeks and the help I get varies a lot. Some agents are great and really dig in to help, while others give weak or wrong advice and tell me to figure it out myself. And I have run into several issues with deductions and earnings where info was missing or incorrect. Setup was hard too. The instructions often felt unclear like the system confuses its own staff too. There were even incorrect ROEs issued and Push left it up to us to fix them.

“streamlined our messy operations”
Pros
Before, we used separate systems for payroll, scheduling and clocking in, everything felt messy and took a lot of time. But since switching to PUSH, we have brought everything into one platform, which has made payroll much smoother. Plus this system looks modern, is easy to use and now all HR and payroll documents are in one place. It is also great that employees can access their own profiles and paperwork directly. Support plays a big role too in how I rate a company and I am happy to say that the team has been quick and helpful. We had some early challenges but they usually responded fast and worked through issues with patience and understanding.
Cons
In my role as the super administrator and financial controller of our company, I pay close attention to how payroll ties into accounting. We've been using this tool for almost four years and while I've noticed improvements over that time, there are still weaknesses. Some are minor and some more worrying. I'm not going to dive into technical specifics here but if you're an accountant reading this, know that I view this tool mainly as a technology solutions vendor that excels at integrations. That strength is excellent for operations teams, yet it can leave accounting folks like me feeling frustrated or even puzzled at times. As the platform wasn't designed primarily with accounting and reporting requirements in mind. So it lacks some of the strong features and even basic controls that we accountants normally expect. Those shortcomings become more apparent for a business of our size, with hundreds of employees spread across multiple sites in four provinces, which makes reconciliation and reporting more challenging than I'd like.

“requires need a multi-company view”
Pros
When I use Push for reporting, I must say that the reports are clear, easy to understand and simple to navigate.
Cons
I wish there were a single view that showed payroll data for all our companies at once. As of right now, I have to run the same report over and over for each company which gets really monotonous and time takig task.

“Copy paste shifts saves time”
Pros
It is really easy to use and I particularly like that I can copy and paste shifts instead of re-entering them.
Cons
If there were a way to copy and paste schedules across different weeks instead of doing them manually each time, I would like it more.

“All employee journey in one place”
Pros
Having used many payroll systems, I have found Push to be the best by far. As I really like how it brings together the entire employee journey from job ads and hiring to offer letters, onboarding, HR tasks, performance reviews, scheduling, time tracking and payroll all in one place. Plus being able to upload and store documents directly on an employees profile has eliminated the need for paper files. Moreover everything runs smoothly without glitches. Their help centre is useful too and whenever I reach out, the support team responds quickly with helpful answers.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides that I can think of. Occasionally maybe once or twice I've had to chase a support email because the initial reply was slow and I needed to follow up, but that's been uncommon. Apart from that rare lag in response, I honestly have no real complaints to share.

Pros
I am really impressed by how easy the system is to use. Also the support team is excellent as there is always someone available to help and answer my questions.

Pros
It is easy to build schedules and make them clear for employees to follow. The reports are also accurate and it is simple to communicate through the system.

“Mobile access keeps team organized”
Pros
As a manager, it has made scheduling and keeping the team organized incredibly simple. I can control my team in real time from my phone which lets me continuously meet staffing needs and stay in touch with everyone. That mobile access helps me keep communication flowing and adjust coverage on the fly. My staff also appreciate being able to set their availability and swap shifts without having to involve me.
Cons
The app is definitely improving as it grows and gets updates. But I do think some parts of the interface feel a bit basic and could be improved a little. And yes the schedule layout works but it is not very user-friendly unless you are on a large, high-resolution screen. That leads to annoying moments where I end up scrolling endlessly.

“Logical layout with excellent email support”
Pros
The PUSH payroll platform is easy to use even without watching tutorials. Also the layout makes sense and is logical. And when I cannot find a feature, their email support is excellent in guiding me.
Cons
Printing reports is not as easy as I expected it to be. And yes exporting to a spreadsheet works but the files are not always print-friendly. Also phone support is hit or miss. Some days the wait is long, though timing plays a role. Year-end processing is always stressful for us and their team. Plus it would be helpful if they sent a reminder when a long weekend means payroll needs to be submitted a day earlier.

“Schedules linked directly to timesheets”
Pros
Having schedules linked directly to timesheets is really useful. I also find the HR and onboarding features the best especially the document handling and integrations. And overall, it's fairly easy to use.
Cons
Setting up staff access is not easy because we have many managers and approvers. Managing mass earnings and deductions is also messy with so many departments and job roles. So I'd really like a simpler way to push file updates out to everyone.
