“Helps check startup salary and benefits
Pros
One feature I really like is being able to filter by location, experience and company stage. Plus it gives me great control and I use it to check if our salary and benefits are strong enough to attract the right talent for our startup.
Cons
I have run into problems when trying to export data. As the export options are very inflexible and don't let me customize what I need. I'd like to be able to select specific fields and export them as ready-to-use spreadsheets for deeper analysis or presentations.

“Perfect for comparing vc-backed startups
Pros
When I needed to compare our pay with other VC-backed startups at a similar stage, this tool was exactly what I was looking for. I also like that the customer success team is very responsive and walks me through real-world use cases in a helpful way.
Cons
As an early-stage startup it feels like a pay as you go pricing option might make more sense for us since I only access it a few times each year to check benchmarks, rather than treating it like an everyday tool.

Pros
Ravio is incredibly easy to install and start using. Plus I can quickly locate every piece of data I need as it is presented in a clear, easy to understand way that helps me turn it into actionable insights.
Cons
Setting up commissions is a bit complex so it's harder than it should be to get a clear overall view.

“User-friendly with focused tech insights
Pros
It is very user-friendly and easy to set up. You just connect it to your HR system and the team matches roles to the right leveling. After that I only needed to review and make small tweaks. Also it's refreshing to get focused insights on tech companies instead of broad corporate data. Support has been excellent too as everyone I have worked with is helpful, knowledgeable and quick to respond. I also like that it shows visibility into benefits.
Cons
Some parts of the service are behind a paywall which I don't mind since it has to generate revenue somehow. For now the free features cover our needs but if our team starts putting more emphasis on benchmarking, upgrading to the paid options could be something I would seriously consider.

“HR system integration saves manual work
Pros
I like the HR system integration because we no longer have to enter every piece of information manually.
Cons
We are lacking certain external data relevant to our fashion/retail/ecommerce sector and we have noticed a few data synchronization problems but overall we remain satisfied.

“provides great free plan for benchmarking
Pros
Ravio is very easy to use. As a compensation tool it gives near real-time data across many countries and roles. Even on the free plan I was able to benchmark most of our positions especially in Central Europe and the Nordics. Honestly it's the first benchmarking tool I actually enjoy using as it does not feel like a chore. Customer support is also great as they have been flexible and responsive to our needs.
Cons
For now we are only on the free plan because there is not enough data for Finland yet so many features are not available to us. Also we have not connected our HRIS or uploaded employee records partly to avoid moving sensitive data into another system. However uploading employee info via Excel was easy and the team was flexible with our needs. But since we cannot access insights tied to our own headcount we rely on generic market data which limits some strategic decisions. Still the easy Excel import and their willingness to help made the experience less frustrating.

“Changed how we handle salary benchmarking
Pros
It has completely changed how we handle salary benchmarking. A big plus is how easy it is to keep employee data up to date. And beyond basic salary comparisons, it offers live market data, benchmarks by company stage, location-based insights and gender pay gap analysis. What stands out most is the clean, user-friendly interface as it makes benchmarking simple and helps us spot pay gaps quickly. The team has also been fantastic as they are helpful, responsive and open to feedback.
Cons
As a small early-stage company that does not hire often, the Pro plan feels too expensive for us. It is not really a complain but just a practical challenge. Luckily, we can still use the free version by sharing our data which is a huge help for teams like ours.

Pros
The software is user-friendly nad very easy to use. Plus it has a modern feel and delivers relevant data. They also really take excellent care of customers and their CSMs are professional.
Cons
I'm aware that it is continuously developing their product and they've come a long way but I still see there isn't enough data for some specific roles and certain countries.

“Live data syncs with HRIS
Pros
Ravio platform is incredibly easy to use and it provides live, dependable data. Also I feel comfortable explaining to managers and employees exactly where the numbers come from. And because it syncs automatically with our HRIS, the whole process flows smoothly. The job-level information and diversity metrics are very helpful too and our account manager gives strong support.
Cons
We have noticed that several roles in our company still don't have any data right now but I expect that as the platform evolves and expands its coverage, this situation will improve.

“smooth sync with live market data
Pros
Overall it's a fantastic platform. As it connects smoothly with our HRIS so starters and leavers are updated automatically. Also employees are mapped to the right job families and I only had to make a few small manual changes. Along with salary data, it also shows comparable benefits packages. It is easy to use too, shows live percentile breakdowns and customer support is quick, helpful and open to suggestions.
Cons
I think the platform is great. If anything more market data as it grows would help but let me tell you that I am really reaching for things to critique.
