Great for hiring

Pros

One of RUN's standout features for me is definitely CareerPlug. It manages our hiring to the point that bringing on new employees goes extremely smoothly from start to finish. It has also consistently provided us with highly qualified, well-matched candidates which takes so much guesswork and friction out of the recruitment process. It's become a trusted part of how we grow our team.

Cons

What we find most frustrating is the discrepancy between systems , we have to juggle Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time between RUN and the Time & Attendance module which creates extra work.

Simple and reliable system

Pros

I find the interface very easy to use. It is clean and well-organized. The whole system is simple to navigate which keeps tasks simple. I also really appreciate that I can email employees directly from the platform to have them complete their forms electronically.. it makes the entire onboarding and compliance process smooth, paperless and efficient for everyone involved.

Cons

Overall I don't find much to complain about when it comes to RUN by ADP. If I had to suggest something I'd lean toward refreshing the app's visuals so it aligns with the current iOS design language since a modernized look and feel would make the experience even better.

chat support incredibly helpful but time and payroll platforms are unsynced

Pros

the chat support is incredibly helpful, whenever I've run into a problem they were able to fix it every time.

Cons

Although I appreciate the help the time-tracking and payroll platforms don't sync well with one another which causes inefficiencies. Also support is divided between specialists for time management and separate reps who handle payroll so I often have to switch contacts to get a complete solution.

incredibly simple and capable

Pros

It is incredibly simple to operate.... simple and easy from day one yet it's impressively capable offering every essential feature I need. And all of that comes at a very fair price which makes it an outstanding value for the power and ease it delivers. It hits that perfect sweet spot.

Cons

Absolutely satisfied ! I have nothing to complain about ! everything runs smoothly and the support I got was outstanding.

Simple, affordable and works great

Pros

What I appreciate most is how genuinely kind, patient and helpful our agent has been. As a brand-new small business I've found that this service really takes the stress and complexity out of handling payroll letting me focus on growing the business instead of getting bogged down in administrative details. It�s been a true lifeline.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints whenever I'm stuck or something isn't clear I just call my agent and they promptly walk me through each step until the issue is fully resolved.

easy payroll you can trust

Pros

this platform is easy to use and it processes payroll accurately and reliably which to me is the most crucial feature.

Cons

Although the support team seems knowledgeable I frequently have to wait to get connected with the right person and resolving problems often takes several follow-ups.

Simple and fair payroll tool

Pros

It is simple to use, fairly priced and interactive for both employees and management plus everyone on the team can easily access the data.

Cons

Having more customizable fields is something I'd really appreciate. For instance I wish there was a way to include extra detail in the reimbursement type shown on pay stubs.

Helpful support but manual tasks are time-consuming

Pros

During the implementation I found the customer support to be outstanding. Our account manager has consistently been on hand to address every question we've had after go-live. Overall ADP Run feels fairly user-friendly and I appreciate that there are training resources available when questions come up. The department and job-level reporting features have proven to be particularly helpful for our needs.

Cons

the time tracking and attendance tools are confusing at times. Although I've completed some training courses I still feel like many tasks need to be handled manually which ends up being very time-consuming. At first the payroll process was relatively simple for us but recently it has shifted in ways that have introduced some additional confusion.

Fast payroll with benefits added

Pros

Payroll has become quick and simple for our team and because of ADP we've been able to add a 401(k) option for our employees.

Cons

What frustrates me the most is that our dedicated rep isn't able to handle all issues after onboarding so we end up having to call the general customer service line and talk to other agents.

Reliable support so far

Pros

Having reliable customer support mattered a lot to me especially after leaving a previous company where I had a terrible experience.

Cons

Up to this point I have not found much about RUN that bothers me. I'm still in the process of learning the new system and adjusting to how it differs from the one I used before

compliance feature flawed and non-compliant

Pros

As a small business owner, I can confidently say that their customer service is outstanding. Specifically, the support team showed impressive patience and a genuine dedication to resolving my issues. The agent patiently walked me through each stage of the onboarding and ensured all our details were correctly entered to meet compliance standards. He stayed calm, resourceful and consistently helpful throughout the entire process. Additionally support is available at very short notice even after hours via text. That kind of practical, hands-on support is absolutely invaluable for an entrepreneur like me.

Cons

The software's compliance feature is flawed. It forced me into an incorrect process, blocking the legal method for making a 401(k) contribution and only allowing a non-compliant workaround which created extra work, cost me time and put my business at risk.

easy to use and dependable

Pros

Our company finds it excellent for many reasons but what stands out most to me is their customer support and how easy the platform is to use.

Cons

Simple payroll with great extras

Pros

I appreciate how simple it is to use, my team can access the platform through the mobile app, employees can have taxes handled electronically and the company has established partnerships with medical providers and workers' compensation insurers.

Cons

The way it connects with other systems is not as smooth as I'd like but beyond that I have not faced any problems.

smooth system with great support

Pros

Ease of use and the customer service are great. Whenever I reach out to my rep, they're super responsive and help quickly. There's also a mobile app for the system which I absolutely love.

Cons

At this point I haven't faced any problems. I've enjoyed every feature of the program and since it's simple to use, I don't have any complaints to share. Thanks!

Love the app and support

Pros

I find the process smooth with clear steps for running payroll even without being a pro and it significantly reduces the time spent on manual calculations. Pay stubs and reports are readily available online.

Cons

As a new user my experience up to this point has been completely positive and I haven't run into any problems worth mentioning. I'm confident that with more time I'll gain a deeper understanding of the system.

clear payroll with no issues

Pros

What I really appreciated was how easy and easy the whole process felt and the support I got from team was absolutely incredible!

Cons

I did notice a few kinks in the editing side but the tech team is always available to help when needed. It's support by phone only, yet I still think it's worth it.

Easy process with strong support

Pros

It has been an excellent solution for handling payroll and basic HR tasks for my small business. I find the interface interactive, payroll processes are consistently smooth and it automatically takes care of taxes which really reduces my stress. It's dependable and performs exactly the functions I rely on it for daily use.

Cons

Certain advanced functions and detailed reports need extra add-on purchases. Its difficult to use initially but I became comfortable with it fairly quickly.

reliable payroll

Pros

We've genuinely enjoyed using it. I find it very user-friendly, consistently reliable and it takes a lot of the stress out of running payroll. The whole process is so smooth and whenever we've needed help the support team has been responsive and helpful. Overall it has been a dependable and positive experience for our team.

Cons

Occasionally the setup and customization options are little restrictive and a handful of features require time and patience to learn properly. Beyond those limitations I have not faced any major problems.

ADP is easy and simple to use

Pros

The customer service provided is exceptional. Whenever I require assistance, I can always rely on speaking to a human being who promptly helps me. I appreciate the ease of inputting information and genuinely feel that they care about my needs.

Cons

It's a bit expensive, but I have peace of mind knowing that I always have assistance. Being a small business owner in NY, everything comes at a high cost. Understanding that running a business incurs expenses, especially for payroll, we strive to save on costs, but it's not an easy task.
