“good overall!!

Pros

Being able to design documents and link them directly to a live database is the best part for me. I use it regularly for report cards and consolidated reports and it handles that work really well.

Cons

Really feel its missing an auto-save option. It may already exist in newer versions so I cant say for sure but it's definitely something that's needed. The software can hang at times for different reasons, including system configuration issues so having data saved automatically would be very important.

The reporting capabilities feel almost limitless, with a wide range of options and integrations that make the software really versatile.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve and it would be even better with more training available.

Pros

It's a great tool although the design workflow can feel a bit counteradaptive at times. It uses a ribbon-style layout which may suit users already familiar with that approach.

Cons

Getting it deployed is difficult and it's very easy to run into strict version compatibility issues. It's also heavily centered around Windows, with very weak Linux support. The licensing is manageable for smaller setups but the cost rises fast and starts to feel overpriced, very much in line with SAP-style pricing. Also,support and training are extremely expensive so a lot of users end up not being trained well enough to really get the most out of it. Integration can also turn into a hassle when databases are upgraded and joining to Oracle databases is not simple.

What stands out is how clearly it displays reports in an interactive way without needing the full application. The interface feels user-friendly and the visualizations are presented really well.

Cons

Compared with the full software, the interactivity is fairly limited. It works well for viewing reports and doing basic analysis but there isn't much flexibility when it comes to customization or making edits to the reports.

Pros

Actually does a good job of generating reports that are simple to understand and it handles multi-source data integration really well.

Cons

The reporting feels fairly basic and the color options look quite outdated. Im not sure how it compares with other tools on the market but the charts also come across as very basic.

Pros

It makes data analysis much more effective and the format works really well for building strong, detailed reports.

Cons

Even with a large volume of work, I haven't run into any issues.

Im able to manage and edit the form so the values appear exactly the way I want when it's printed.

Having custom options for reports pulled directly from the database is a big advantage.

I haven't run into anything problematic so far and it's been adaptive to use and configure.
