It's really sped up how quickly we can finalize hiring terms and the depth of the analytics is fantastic.
Cons

“Amazing support during setup
Pros
We have not gone live yet and are still setting everything up so far all I can say is how amazing the support has been for me and my team. You all have been fantastic to work with and always go the extra mile. Guiding us toward a whole new way of doing things is not simple but you have managed to make it enjoyable.
Cons
We have not started using it fully yet so I cannot point out any issues. Everything seems fine so far.

“Powerful but low completion rates
Pros
It is a powerful system that is simple to navigate and includes all the info a new hire could need.
Cons
New hires have to sign up with a personal email which makes it tricky to keep track of them after they officially join. They are active before day one but once they are in, they often ignore pulse survey emails. And I have not seen anyone finish all the content as most only complete around 25% and I am not sure what's holding them back.

“Keeps everything interesting
Pros
We get personalized info based on our start date. Also we can match the look to our company's branding and the material is well organized with interactive elements like quizzes to keep things interesting.
Cons
Since it's browser-based, notifications come through email rather than in-app alerts. Also if a start date changes like due to visa delays, previously entered content can get lost.

“Proven methods with great pulse surveys
Pros
I really like how the app is built around proven methods and offers both ready-made and customizable content. I also like how information is given to new hires in stages making the process smoother. From their perspective, the learning sections are definitely the standout feature. On our end the pulse surveys are the best as they allow us to track the entire onboarding process closely and get real-time feedback.
Cons
We are still new to the app so I cannot really say what my least favorite feature is yet.

“Builds connection is easy
Pros
We can start building a connection with new hires right after they sign their contract and continue throughout their time with the company. They can begin learning our company values, get to know their manager and team and even take a virtual tour of the office all before their first day which is amazing.
Cons
Connecting it with other systems is not as easy as I'd like though to be fair that's a common issue with a lot of platforms.

Pros
It handles everything from pre-onboarding to the first day and beyond. Also there is a lot of freedom to tailor the app with our company's culture. It's a warm welcome for new employees and helps them feel part of the team early on. The support and development teams are excellent and keep rolling out new features. Getting started with Talmundo is also hassle free and they guide you every step of the way in building your app.
Cons
I noticed that it can slow down when uploading images or handling large sets of data. And I would also like to see better reporting tools with more useful functions.

Talentech was simple to set up and stays focused squarely on onboarding. It lets us automate the process so we can concentrate on the human side personally welcoming newcomers and talking through their roles and goals.
Cons
The reports could do more to show exactly how people are using the app like where they click, how long they stay engaged and which content holds their attention.
