“easy menu search
Pros
Toast lets me give custom names to checks and tabs. And it makes organizing and tracking orders so much easier. I also find the menu search really easy when I am looking up items for either the kitchen or the drinks list. The search is also simple and sends items straight to the kitchen or bar which is super convenient during service. On top of that I value how easily I can split a single check across multiple cards without hassle.
Cons
I do not like that check names print on the customers receipt. As it feels unnecessary and I wish I could turn that off.

Pros
It gives me an estimated time for when my food will be ready, which makes planning my meals way more reliable than just walking into a place, ordering and then waiting around for takeout. The interface is also clean and user friendly so it's easy to use and I'm also happy that it ties into my Apple Wallet.
Cons
No cons to share as I noticed nothing of such kind.

What I find most helpful about it is how easily I can move through the system to locate all my transactions, sales and similar records.
Cons
The sheer number of options are overwhelming and I sometimes get confused trying to navigate them.

Pros
I like that Toast is available online around the clock and their support team is consistently helpful. Also the interface is simple and very user-friendly to get around.
Cons
One thing that bothers me is the inability to change an employee's name after they have already set up their account on it which has caused some awkward situations for our payroll and records.

“clearly labeled and easy adjustments
Pros
One thing I really like is how user-friendly the interface is. The result of it is that I do not waste time figuring out where things are as everything is clearly labeled and neatly organized. Also it is easy to adjust reports and keep information updated every day.
Cons
The sign-on home screen feels a bit cluttered to me at times and could do with fewer items. I'd like a simpler layout and the ability to add or remove elements from my dashboard so users can customize it to their liking.

Pros
I'm really impressed with how user friendly Toast is. Plus being able to view an accurate arrival time for my order is something I especially value. Setup was also not a problem as getting everything up and running took very little time.
Cons
Well I'd like it to partner with more kosher restaurants as that would make it more useful for me.

Toast makes it easy to write product descriptions and run reports. I also love that I can set things up and not worry about them afterward. The detailed help text is really useful as I rely on it often.

Pros
What I like most is that it is compact but still has great features. And as a small business owner, it is easy for me to use on the tablet especially for payments. Also the features are impressive, the support team is helpful and onboarding went smoothly. Overall it is user friendly and fits our needs well.
Cons
The response times from support could use some improvement. As I sometimes wait longer than I'd like for answers. Also it would be really useful if there were tutorial videos I could watch to walk through all the functions instead of having to learn everything by trial and error.

“customizable and easy setup
Pros
It is customizable and user-friendly. Since I began using it around eight months ago, I've been able to handle orders well, shifting them from in-person to more advanced online ordering without stressing over payments. Also the initial setup was incredibly easy even though we had little experience running a cafe and that simplicity really made everything much easier to get up and running.

Pros
All our tax forms, ID details, pay stubs and hours are in there but if you can figure out where to find them.
Cons
It is really buggy and tough to track down the info you need. Everything is technically in there but it is just a challenge to actually find it. Like the site is not laid out correctly at all.

It covers everything we need without being as overwhelming as Quickbooks. Plus the tech support is absolutely fantastic.
Cons
We get reminders and late alerts starting Thursday, even though we don't process payroll until Monday. Other than that there is really nothing I dislike.

“Great for ptO tracking
Pros
We just added PTO tracking into our Toast payroll system and it's great. I can quickly answer any time-off questions from the team. Also having pay stubs and tax docs available online is a huge plus.
Cons
Figuring out how to request time off took me a minute maybe because I was trying to do it from my phone.

Pros
At first I had this hopeful idea that if we just followed the instructions, nothing would go wrong but it turns out that was not quite true.
Cons
We had a bunch of W-2s from Toast that showed the wrong earnings and tax info. They are also pretty slow to respond whenever something goes wrong on their end.

Pros
Toast Payroll works well with our Toast POS, making payroll processing quick and easy. Access to past pay data and various reports makes budgeting and planning is also not an issue. Plus if any issues arise, a quick call connects you to friendly and helpful support, who resolve everything right away.
Cons
There is a lot to explore and make use of here but honestly that's not a bad thing.

Pros
I love that this single app handles everything I need for HR such as onboarding, payroll, scheduling you name it. It has saved me a lot of money too.
Cons
Sometimes I wonder if keeping it simple is better. It's cool that it handles payroll and team management in one place but it can feel like too much. Sometimes I think it would be easier to let someone else handle payroll. And if there is a tech issue, the whole system goes down with no backup.

“Hard to use and broken promises
Pros
There is nothing I like about it as it's hard to use and does not sync properly like they promised. Switching to this system was the worst decision I have made in seven years of running my business.
Cons
Too much to say like how about getting your own process right before pointing fingers? Like don't blame the customer or make us jump through hoops for your mistakes. Just do your job.
