“Great for team collaboration

Pros

The games feel incredibly natural within our workspace and there's an impressive selection to choose from. Our whole team has really gotten into the trivia sessions because of this.

Cons

Poor communication from support and they switch up pricing without much warning. Can't really count on this service being consistent.

“Amazing for Remote Team Building

Pros

I love how user friendly this is and how it connects our team without eating up too much time! There's really something for everyone here. It's sparked some great conversations in our Slack channel and brought together people from different departments who normally wouldn't interact much. Plus it's brought out this fun competitive side in everyone that's actually pretty wholesome. The games are quick so they're perfect for those little mental breaks without disrupting the whole workday. What I really appreciate is how adaptable it is! We can create our own games that actually mean something to our company. The initial difficulty is practically non existent so anyone can jump right in! I'd definitely recommend it across the board!

Cons

I wish there were more customization options for things like work anniversary announcements. The app feels like it's still developing so hopefully more functions will come as it matures.

“Impressive variety of activities

Pros

The variety of activities available is really impressive: trivia, pictionary, hangman, virtual coffee sessions, celebrations and more give us plenty to work with.

Cons

Would be nice if they offered more frequent scheduling intervals. Currently stuck with 30 minute gaps when I really need something every 15 minutes or so.

I've been really impressed with how well this has worked for our team since we started using it recently. After each game wraps up people are constantly asking when we can play again which says a lot about how engaging it is! What I love most is seeing coworkers bond over the random topics that come up, whether it's during the casual conversation starters or the actual trivia questions themselves.

Cons

The emoji game combinations are way too simple most of the time. Also when a game ends you can only see the top three players on the podium, I wish there was a dropdown to check where everyone else finished.

“Entertaining experience

Pros

The trivia feature has completely transformed how we connect with colleagues we don't typically interact with. Since we're fully remote, face to face conversations just aren't possible. Those Friday water cooler questions perfectly fill that gap and recreate the casual office banter we're missing. The Know Your Team quiz is another favorite of mine, it's fascinating to discover new things about coworkers you thought you knew!

Cons

Trivia notifications can become overwhelming when you're trying to focus on work. On busy days I often end up muting the channel entirely because the constant alerts become too distracting to handle.

“Engaging Staff Management

Pros

I really enjoy how we can schedule trivia sessions at various times during Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We set up a dedicated Slack channel called "Arcade" that alerts everyone when a game begins. Anyone free can jump in and participate! It's great seeing employees from different departments compete with each other. The variety in games keeps things fresh and engaging. What I appreciate most is the automation, HR can configure everything once and it runs smoothly without constant oversight, maintaining high engagement levels :)

Cons

The game selection is pretty hit or miss and while there's plenty to choose from the quality varies quite a bit. What really gets frustrating is when you know you've got the right answer but the system marks it wrong or worse, accepts an incorrect response as correct.

“Easy to use but alert overload

It's really enjoyable and comes with engaging questions that keep things interesting. My team and I play it from time to time and it's become a great way for us to bond together.

Cons

The questions felt pretty basic and the constant Teams notifications got annoying. I'd prefer being able to start games myself rather than having them pop up randomly all the time.

I really appreciate how this brings our team together and gives us a chance to step away from our regular work routine.

I wish there was a way to start another game without having to generate a new link every time. Maybe we're just missing something and dont understand how to do it properly within the system.

I've found this app really effective for bringing our teams closer together. The automated weekly water coolers help everyone across the organization get to know each other better through the thoughtful questions it generates. We also set up weekly games in a dedicated channel so employees can take quick mental breaks. What I'm particularly excited about are the custom quizzes we can create with the Pro plan, they're amazing!

Cons

The Celebrations feature through Trivia didn't quite meet our expectations. As an admin I can't really take control of it like we thought we could. That said they're actively working on customizations that should address our needs so I'm looking forward to those updates.
