“Automated scoring saves time”
Pros
Recording interviews is one of the best ways to run selection processes especially in my role as an educator, where we often need to pick top students. Here I find Truffle to be the most effective and simple tool for this. It gives a clear workflow for evaluations, lets me customize questions and includes AI features that save time. Also the automated scoring helps a lot when grading interviews or assignments and it provides accurate feedback. Customer support is also great as they respond quickly and solve issues without hassle. I believe adding it to our teaching and assessment activities would be very valuable and something educators could use regularly.
Cons
One issue I noticed was the relatively short time allotted for the trial which can be a downside of using it. If I take the time to read the terms and conditions carefully and then pick a plan that better fits my needs, that limitation usually doesn't become a real problem for me.

Pros
What I like most is how user-friendly it is. Also the experience is always smooth and never glitchy. Plus it makes managing and finding information easy, with a clean design and helpful features that save time, improve workflows and boost productivity for both teams and individuals.
Cons
The only feature I'd love it to add is the ability to post job openings directly to multiple job boards. That would further speed up the hiring process and make the platform even more valuable for teams that handle recruitment by simplifying outreach and centralizing vacancy posting across sites.

“Focus only on candidate responses”
Pros
I used to rely on video interview software. It worked okay but I often felt our decisions were influenced by things that did not matter like how a candidate looked or where they were from. Those visual details seemed to bias our judgment which worried me. Video interviews were also more expensive and needed extra gear like cameras and mics which added unnecessary complexity. Switching to Truffle has made everything much simpler and the results have been great. It is a lot like being a judge on The Voice as you focus only on what the candidate says, not how they look. Also it is very easy to use and reasonably priced. Candidates also told me they found the process simple and appreciated not having to be on video. We plan to keep using it for all our recruiting, across different roles and teams.
Cons
To be honest I have no complaints at this time and only expect things to improve as new features are added. The founders really understand how to make technology work for small businesses and we truly appreciate that.

Pros
It is really easy to navigate my account and simple to use. Plus the matching score and Candidate Shorts give me great insights into each candidate saving me time and helping me avoid sifting through hundreds of resumes. The best matches rise to the top so I can focus on them first.
Cons
Honestly I couldn't find anything about the platform that I dislike.

We've been using it for our school interviews and honestly it's been a game-changer! It's saved us so much time compared to traditional interviews and setting it up is really easy too. We especially love that you can customize the experience by adding custom video intros and closings as it genuinely feels personal for families. Also the platform is easy for both staff and families to navigate and it smooths out the entire process. I cannot imagine going back to the way we used to conduct interviews before.
Cons
I have not run into any problems yet. But if interviewers could record questions as videos, that would be even cooler and add another nice layer to the experience.

This tool is very helpful when dealing with a large number of applicants as it gives a clear view of each candidate's skills and qualities. One of the first people I hired through it exceeded their sales target by 200% in their first month which really impressed me.
Cons
In my experience the integrations are not very powerful yet. That said the team is eager to hear feedback and open to working with clients to make them happen.

Truffle saves me a lot of time early in the hiring process. The AI summaries help me quickly spot the best candidates and I can still watch full interviews if I want to learn more. Setup was very easy too as I had everything ready in under an hour and candidates go through a smooth, well-designed process. Overall it really feels like having a smart recruiter available 24/7. The pricing is also surprisingly affordable for such a capable tool and customer support has been the best too as they respond very quickly.
Cons
Not many complaints overall but I would love to see more integrations with HR systems like BambooHR or Gusto.

It has been an absolute game-changer for me and has completely transformed the way I deal with the early stages of my interview process. I no longer waste countless hours coordinating schedules and conducting the same interviews repeatedly. Rather than juggling calendars, I simply send a single link to candidates and they can complete the interview whenever it suits them. Plus I receive their video replies, full transcriptions and even an AI-generated summary that calls out their main strengths. The thing I like most is how accurate its outputs are. I've been relying on it on a weekly basis.
Cons
Nothing major to complain about. At first, I had a few questions about customizing settings but the team was very responsive and helped me get started. Over the past few months, the product has become very user-friendly so now it's really easy to use right from the start.

This tool helps us get through the slow parts of interviewing on each candidate's own time which saves our small company a huge amount of time. We can listen to or even read all the responses to interview questions. Also the AI summary is very accurate and helps me stay organized which is really useful when there is a hiring manager and over 80 candidates.
Cons
When I first tried it we didn't have any way to rate or add notes to the individual candidate pages. That was a little frustrating at the time but I believe they've added those features since then!

It's completely changed how I evaluate candidates. So instead of wasting time scheduling phone interviews, candidates respond on their own time which frees up our calendars. Hiring managers can watch and score answers whenever it's convenient so we do not have to chase people or reschedule meetings. Also the AI matching is surprisingly accurate and the breakdown of strengths and weaknesses gives me clear insights that speed up decisions and build confidence. Sharing video links is easy too as if I need input from others, I just send a clip and get quick feedback. Overal it is simple to use and saves me hours every week.
Cons
Right now I am using Zapier to move data between systems and it works but setup can be a bit tricky. Also some of our hiring managers have also asked if we could hide candidate identities when sharing clips with clients. I think that would be a really useful feature. That said the team has been very responsive to our requests and already shared timelines for these updates so I feel confident those gaps will be fixed soon.
