The scheduling process is smooth especially with the ability to copy schedules week to week. I also like being able to track employees' submitted hours and receive overtime notifications. Plus, the Gusto integration for payroll is a great bonus.
Cons
Sometimes, there is unnecessary clutter and repeated shifts that shouldn't be there.

Cons
I get logged off too often, and it would be helpful to have the option to mark shifts I'm interested in and receive text alerts when they become available. It would be great to have a quick way to modify my notifications.

The convenience of shift swapping is amazing, employees can drop, pick up, and reschedule their shifts on their own, without needing a manager's intervention.
Cons
What I like least about When I Work is that I can't save my filters or views. We have several retail locations, and employees often switch between them. It would be really convenient if I could open the app and immediately see the schedules for all locations. Instead, each time I open the webpage, it defaults to only showing the schedule for the people at my current location, requiring me to manually select the other locations. While this is a minor inconvenience, it's not a dealbreaker for me.

What I like the most is the employee scheduling tools, which allow me to easily create schedules, factoring in time-off requests and availability. The mobile app also makes shift swapping super flexible for the team.
Cons
I wish the proving was done per location instead of per employee. For smaller locations, it works in your favor, but for larger locations, it doesn't.

Clocking in and out, as well as requesting time off, is incredibly easy and straightforward with this app. It simplifies the entire process.
Cons
Many times, I encounter issues where my clock-in or clock-out submissions do not go through. It's as if the app glitches and prevents me from taking any action, so I have to reach out to my supervisor to rectify my timesheet. Unfortunately, you cannot discern the glitch until you attempt to clock in or clock out again.
