“Great integration and user profiles
Pros
I really liked the integration with Slack and Google Calendar. Before the pandemic Pingboard was our main platform for reporting out-of-office and vacation statuses. It was great that it automatically posted to Slack, so we could easily see which team members were not in the office. Another fantastic feature was the user profiles. In 2020 we saw a period of rapid growth and new employees were joining every week. Plus having an organizational chart in it made it easy to find a team or even a specific employee, so we knew who to contact for various projects.
Cons
No complaints here as It's been an excellent tool for us for over three years and we are still very happy with it.

“Helpful org chart, could use better editing features
Pros
One thing I enjoy is the ability to create and use an organizational chart. It's really helpful for tracking who's working and understanding their roles.
Cons
While the organizational chart is useful, it can be a bit awkward to use at times. For example deleting an employee does not fully remove them from the system and editing the chart requires a bit of getting used to.

“ideal for evolving teams
Pros
In our startup, where the organization is constantly evolving, Pingboard is a great tool for tracking who is on which team. Plus I love how it visualizes the structure, allows you to connect with colleagues through common interests in your profile and even offers interactive quizzes to help you meet others virtually.
Cons
I have not explored all the features yet. I am sure there are many more capabilities that I have not discovered yet.

“User-friendly interface
Pros
I like it because its interface is user-friendly and makes finding the information I need very easy. It also has excellent project tracking features to ensure I stay on top of deadlines.
Cons
One downside is that finding contact information in the directory can be a bit tricky. But overall this is a minor issue and it still works great as a directory tool.

“easy team visualization
Pros
Well I love how easy it was to see who was on which team through the visual layout.
Cons
I wish there was more room for detailed bios for each team member within the organizational chart. As this would help give a fuller picture of each person's role.

“syncs with adp well but needs real-time updates
Pros
I really like that it automatically syncs with ADP to create the organizational chart. I also like how it sends notifications whenever a new employee is added or an existing one is removed. This feature helps me stay on top of our organization's size and structure.
Cons
Well I have not explored every feature but making live updates to the org chart on the spot does not seem as simple as it could be. For instance if we meet with a team leader, it should be easier to update the chart in real time.

“Decent but could use more role details
Pros
Pingboard is an excellent tool for locating people in the organization and understanding how the companys structure works. It clearly displays team organization and hierarchies and it also lets us easily manage personal details like contact information and gift sizes.
Cons
I think it could offer more detailed information. Right now we cannot change the layout or add more specific details about our colleagues. This is problematic because many people use the org chart to identify support teams but they cannot easily see what each team does or what each person's role is.

Pros
Its interface is really simple to use and visually appealing. Plus I find the organizational chart especially helpful for understanding how the company is structured like which teams people are in and who their managers are.
