“positive experience”
Pros
Keeping payroll entirely within NetSuite is the biggest advantage for me. Employee data, calculations and entries all stay linked in one place which cuts down on confusion and helps prevent mistakes. It feels far more controlled than juggling separate systems. The automation is a big plus too. Payroll runs, journal entries and reports are handled with very little manual effort which saves a lot of time during every payroll cycle.
Cons
Setting everything up can take a while especially when you need to configure rules for different payroll situations. It also makes the most sense for teams already using NetSuite so it's not as flexible for organizations working outside that ecosystem.

“Great platform!”
Pros
Has been a huge advantage because there's no need to sync data between systems or clean up mismatched records. The process itself feels well organized with a step by step flow that makes it clear what's finished and what still needs attention. The automation for journal entries and cost allocation has been a big relief too since we used to handle those manually. Having all payroll information in one place also makes reporting much more useful and manageable.
Cons
Getting things set up at the beginning took some time and required careful configuration. It's also not the best fit for companies that aren't already using NetSuite.

“reliable multi region payroll”
Pros
Handling payroll across multiple jurisdictions for our distributed team is where it has made the biggest immediate difference. It automatically manages tax calculations, compliance requirements and contribution rules that change from one region to another so our HR team no longer has to keep up with every jurisdiction separately. The audit trail for each payroll run has also given our finance team a much stronger sense of confidence since our previous system made it far too hard to trace why a particular employee was paid a certain amount without doing a lot of manual digging.
Cons
The employee self service portal doesn't feel as refined as the admin side and it leads to more staff support requests than it really should.
