I recently filed a claim for vandalism in Los Angeles, CA (my apartment was broken into by an angry ex this past August) my high end computers were damaged with coca-cola, my piano was broken and thrown against the wall and it was a very weird situation. In the start I had no faith that my apartment insurance would cover the damages but Assurant covered nearly everything. I have never been so confident in any insurance before but Assurant made the entire process simple. They sent a detective to inspect everything, take photos and more. It was great. I only needed to submit the police report from the day of the incident, take photos, add the costs of my items and speak with representatives a few times. I am getting most of the money back and . None of my data was lost either, so I consider this a win. Thanks so much, Assurant!
