Right from the start this felt completely deceptive. A Farmers representative, Ms. Miller, convinced me I was getting a big discount on my Progressive auto policy but failed to mention that I had to enroll in "Snapshot," an intrusive app that tracks how I drive, just to receive that rate. I only learned about that requirement when I was already in the middle of signing up for the policy. That meant I wasted time and effort collecting vehicle photos and registration paperwork, only to discover the promised discount was misleading. If you're hoping to find a better deal, I'd stay away. It feels like all they care about is getting their commission by signing people up.
