“tool that does it all

Pros

I am impressed by how many layers there are to this system. Whether I use it for docketing, idea disclosure, strategy or pulling reports, it really does it all.

Cons

Because it does it all, there are SO many things to learn. Even after a year, I'm�still�learning new stuff. I do love that they updated their training system from ACE and now have these easy-to-follow videos.

“Makes handling many patents easy

Pros

When I upload a document, I can copy it to all the patent application numbers at once. I can also easily find the patent ID for different applications and I like that I can add reference dates and filing dates for each one.

Cons

There's really only one thing I dislike: when I upload more than four documents it takes time. Also when I use the copy function, I have to add all the application IDs together and then it takes a while to match everything up.

“Excellent tool with top-notch service

Pros

It is excellent for all our docketing needs. But where Anaqua really shines is their customer service, knowledgeable people are always just a phone call away whenever I have an issue.

Cons

If there's any downside, it's just the high cost.

“amazing support and needs workflow help

Pros

They are outstanding but what really sets them apart from other vendors is their support and investment in those products. I feel like they're a leader in that area. They really engage with clients and listen to what we need and they do a great job implementing improvements based on our feedback in their upgrades and product development.

Cons

Like all other products, there are some areas that could be better. The document workflow really needs some attention. Also their docketing systems need better support for patent and trademark enforcement matters especially for cases filed outside the US. Even the support for US enforcement matters could be improved. I've mentioned this to Anaqua and I understand they're working on some upgrades so I'll hold off on more critique for now. Finally, it would be really nice to see trademark monitoring and watch services built right into their PATTSY platform.

“Best, clear communication and support

Pros

I consistently receive excellent, transparent communication and outstanding, proactive support that exceeds expectations.

Cons

I'd really like to see the "Pattsy" platform migrate over to the newer "Anaqua" system.

Pros

I love how easy it is to access and how great the product portfolio is and there are so many different modules and they integrate well with other systems.

Cons

So far there's nothing I really dislike but they could improve how they handle upgrades for the Wave version.

“Lots of ways to build reports

Pros

It offers a lot of customizability for creating reports and the layout is really good,it helps me review large portfolios quickly.

Cons

Some features can be a bit hidden, they are useful but only if you can actually find them. A simple written guide that lists all the different functions would be super helpful especially for bigger teams.

“Holds a huge amount of information

Pros

I find that each IP record contains a remarkably comprehensive and logically organized set of fields which provides exceptional depth of information.

Cons

Managing and adding docketing actions is awkward to me.

“An industry leader for our legal team

Pros

In my experience Anaqua's products are an industry leader with top-of-the-line features, security and reliability. Our legal team really needs the docketing and patent/trademark tools to serve our customers efficiently.

Cons

The on-premise applications sometimes need extra maintenance and you often need a VPN to get them to work.

“Comprehensive but not easy to use

Pros

I appreciate the sheer amount of information that's presented within the application and it's really comprehensive.

Cons

Sometimes, it's not very interactive to figure out how to use and find the exact information I need.
