“Great for training and trends

Pros

It's awesome to see a Canadian company doing so well. Benjamin's team built a really great product. We use it for everything from training new hires to managing what our clients expect. It powers our research and keeps us in the loop on new legal trends almost right away.

Cons

I�really like the software but it would be great if the training kept up a bit better when new stuff is added. It would help everyone get used to the changes faster.

“Easy layout with latest cases

Pros

I really like how easy the layout is to use and that it always shows me the newest cases.

Cons

The tool needs specific details to calculate the notice period accurately but my clients usually don't have that information when they first ask about a termination.

“Smooth research tool

Pros

According to me, blue J gives both me and my client a neutral way to figure out damages. It makes research so much smoother than the old, clunky keyword search stuff we used to deal with.

Cons

Honestly, nobody on my team has had anything bad to say about using it.

“Fast case classifier

Pros

I think the case classifier tool is perfect for getting a fast read on what a client might be owed, or what they might have to do.

Cons

It can feel a little clunky sometimes. I'd love a hand understanding some tricky contract language right in the tool. It would also be really helpful if splitting up the costs between parties was simpler.

“Easy case matching with good filters

Pros

This is a great tool for finding cases that actually match my client's story. The filters help me zero in on just the info I need for whatever I'm working on. Plus, it's pretty easy to learn, which makes my research way faster.

Cons

The only suggestion I have is to cover more topics. It'd be great to see more cases about things like sexual harassment, disabilities and other protected rights.

It's simple to use, the support team is super helpful and the answers I get are thorough and I can adjust them how I need.

Cons

I can't really think of any downsides. It does exactly what we need it to do.

I get a good, solid summary for all the important cases on a topic.

Cons

I've noticed that even when I pick a specific location, it doesn't always only show me cases from that area.

This software is really useful. It has a bunch of tools to help narrow my search and find cases that are the closest match to my client's specific situation.

Cons

It would be really helpful if each case included a short blurb with the key facts, like the person's age, job, and how long they worked, right next to the notice period that's already shown.

“Easy to use with clear reports

Pros

It's easy to use, it thinks about a lot of different factors and the reports it makes are clear and simple for clients to understand.

Cons

You can only skip three questions on the form. When you're missing a lot of info, it really holds up the whole process.

“Deep research and outcome prediction

Pros

I really like Employment Foresight because it does all the deep research and even guesses how a judge might rule. My favorite part is playing with the facts to see what really changes the outcome.

Cons

Answering all the questions to build a case can take a while. I wish I could just upload a legal document or a demand letter instead of typing everything out.
