reliable consent tracking

Pros

Running consent management across our subscription service has become much more manageable with this solution. It automatically detects cookies, keeps user preference records accurate and helps us stay CCPA compliant without having to do constant manual checks. Something that used to feel pretty complex is now much simpler and everything stays properly documented when review time comes around.

Cons

During the first few times using it, it takes some effort to understand how the different modules connect since you need to go through several sections to see how everything works together.

Vendor tracking done right

Pros

Keeping tabs on third-party vendors is much more organized with Captain Compliance because it gives me one complete registry for all external partners. I can see what data each vendor handles, keep an eye on their compliance status and get alerts whenever vendor cookies change unexpectedly. Since CCPA requires a clear understanding of who is processing user data having everything centralized makes vendor management feel far less messy and much more under control.

Cons

Bringing new vendors into the registry does take a bit of extra effort because the onboarding process requires filling in a lot of detailed information fields.
