Favorite is the tasks feature

Pros

I really enjoy many aspects of Zola Suite and one of the features I rely on most is the Tasks functionality. Being able to turn an email into a saved task so easily has completely changed my workflow.

Cons

Personally, I can't find anything about Zola Suite that I dislike as it offers so many capabilities that I genuinely can't think of a downside.

All in one highly customizable tool

Pros

I've found it to be an all-in-one solution that keeps getting better and I appreciate how much it can be customized.

Cons

One thing I wish were stronger is the accounting and reporting side, since I find its capabilities fairly limited compared to dedicated tools.

Like email and calendar integration

Pros

I'm a fan of the e-mail and calendar syncing. Zola Suite really helps me stay organized and it notifies attorneys and paralegals about coming court deadlines and the tasks tied to each case.

Cons

What frustrates me is that I can't view my full daily activity log for every case directly on my dashboardI always have to ask the administrator to run a report. Because I jump between different screens a lot during the day, it would be much more convenient if the dashboard displayed the cases I'm actively working on with clear date and time stamps so I can easily resume where I left off.

Access from cloud and great support

Pros

I can reach everything via the cloud, which makes working remotely effortless. The system feels very user-friendly and simple to navigate and the iOS app has been reliable for on-the-go use. Customer support has been great when I needed help and moving our data from TimeMatters into Zola Suite was a smooth, simple process.

Cons

No complaints so far I genuinely like every aspect of the software and haven't run into any shortcomings yet.

Email integration works with gmail

Pros

I like that the email integration supports Gmail instead of being limited to Outlook, which makes my workflow easier. The interface looks nice to me and I think the pricing is fair.

Cons

I find there are far too many mandatory fields when I enter time, which makes the process cumbersome and slows me down and I can't customize the dashboard to suit my workflow. Also, occasionally the email integration lags, so replying to or saving messages takes noticeably longer than it should, which interrupts my pace.

Very refined and user friendly

Pros

Over the past year and a half I have been using Zola Suite and it's turned into a polished, user friendly tool that simply works. The team keeps rolling out new features and refining the platform, which lets me handle every part of my law practice within a single, integrated system.

Cons

Honestly I haven't found a single thing about Zola Suite that I dislike.

Cloud-based document management is efficient

Pros

Our office has relied on Zola for many years and from the moment we set up the firm we committed to a paperless approach. Back when we launched, we were spending roughly $15,000 to $20,000 on physical computer servers to store files and enable remote access. Moving to Zola's cloud-based document management has let us neatly organize our files, make them instantly searchable and easily share materials with clients. What stands out most to me is Zola's steady stream of product improvementsthey keep enhancing features to make the suite more capable and dependable. I also feel they genuinely pay attention to user feedback when updating ZolaSuite.

Cons

I think the document generation feature in ZolaSuite would significantly boost our firm's efficiency and its absence is noticeable. Also, while the document sharing tool Caseway is extremely valuable for passing information to clients, we've found that clients often struggle with creating an account and navigating the platform. It would help a lot if there were a simpler setup flow or clear, easy-to-follow instructions we could give clients so they can log in and share documents without confusion.

Features are great and service best

Pros

For me, the features are excellent and the support has been exceptional.

Cons

I'd appreciate more flexibility in settings, for example being able to customize matter names and control whether a default name is displayed. I would also welcome an option to add both an internal docket and a court docket entry so that I can search across both records easily.

Easy all in one package

Pros

For my practice, Zola is a simple, all in one solution that handles time tracking, billing, office administration and practice management.

Cons

I can't change the margins when I print checks, which is frustrating.

user friendly and easy to access

Pros

After getting the hang of the programs layout, I find that every feature is simple and easy to use. Details on each case are immediately accessible whether I'm on my desktop or checking on my phone. Plus I really like that it includes an integrated accounting system so I can see all the financials tied to each matter. On top of that, it automatically generates a timesheet for every email I open and reply to which saves me time and effort.

Cons

Hardly any negatives. One thing I do want to change is the chart of accounts in the accounting section. Otherwise the software just works reliably. When I do have a question and place a call, I reach a real person quickly and they have always fixed any problem I've encountered.

appreciate the integration & flexibility

Pros

I appreciate the way it integrates with my other tools and the high degree of flexibility that lets me tailor the software to match my personal working style.

Cons

It would be helpful if the app had automatic timers and billing buttons for when I'm reading emails or making phone calls as right now there's an extra manual step that I have to get accustomed to.

amazing service

Pros

What I love is that it bundles everything I needclient database, email, calendar, accounting and time trackinginto a single app. In my experience, customer support is outstanding: problems are rare, but when they happen I get help right away from a real person, not an automated menu to wrestle with.

Cons

When something does go wrong, it can bring our whole operation to a halt because everything runs through that single system.

No quickbooks needed

Pros

I like that it does not require QuickBooks and their customer support is outstanding. I also found the interface quite simple and easy to use.

Cons

What I'd prefer fixed is the lack of task dependencies in the task list, it's frustrating that I can't link tasks together. Also, not a major complaint but I would really appreciate an in-portal chat so I could message clients directly.

Keeps me organized and notified

Pros

Using this app helps me stay organized and keeps me on top of everything. I can pull it up on my phone while I'm in court and it reliably alerts me about upcoming appointments and events.

Cons

I wish there was a way to view invoices and billing details from the mobile app. Sometimes I'm in court when clients ask about charges and because billing isn't available on my phone I can't pull up their invoice until I return to my office computer.

Favorite part is the billing

Pros

What I really love about Zola is the billing. I can run a timer and it automatically charges in the proper increments which saves me so much guesswork. I also appreciate being able to add a ton of detail to a matter so everything is in one place. I'm able to assign tasks to colleagues and once they finish I'll get a notification letting me know the task was completed, which keeps things moving smoothly.

Cons

I don't have any real complaints because it feels natural and genuinely useful. One thing I'd like, though is the ability to revisit tasks after I have assigned them for example, a phone call entry so I can review the details after it's been submitted instead of not being able to go back.

web-based and cost effective tool

Pros

For me, its simplicity and web-based design make it far easier to use than our old package Abacus, which has resulted in greater attorney adoption and it's cost effective.

Cons

When it comes to reporting, I really need full database access so I can export data into Excel and create custom reports myself, otherwise the built-in reports should be substantially better.

Matter database is invaluable

Pros

Having a matter database together with a fully integrated G Suite calendar makes this tool indispensable to my practice.

Cons

Although the dashboard's built-in email system isn't as simple or user-friendly as I would prefer, the tight G Suite integration more than compensates for that limitation.

Most user friendly and streamlined

Pros

I have found Zola Suite to be the most user friendly and well-organized practice management system I have come across and it has really helped make running my solo practice much easier to handle.

Cons
