“Word integrated claim review powerhouse
Pros
I have been using it for over ten years now and the biggest thing for me is that it sits right on my PC inside MS Word. I don't have to log in to some website every five minutes and I'm not worried about anyone spying on what I am working on. My favorite part is how it checks if my claims are actually correct and I really love the claim summary feature when I am putting together a response to an Office Action.
Cons
Honestly I can't really point to anything that I absolutely hate about it.

“Essential drafting quality safeguard
Pros
It just catches stuff. Seriously running my claim sets and application drafts through it is a must-do on my quality control list. I would not feel comfortable filing without it.
Cons
Defining patent terms can be a real headache and does not always work the way I want. Sometimes I have a specific phrase (spaces and all) that Ineedthe software to recognize for checking antecedent basis. I'll type it into it and if I am lucky it actually picks it up.

“fast office action preparation helper
Pros
Honestly it saves me a ton of time. I use it to kickstart my Office Action responses and the diagnostic tools are perfect for scanning documents to make sure I have not missed any dumb errors.
Cons
Not much to complain about here. There are a few parts I just don't use because I already have my own go-to tools for that stuff.

“outstanding value feature suite
Pros
For the price you just can't beat the features. I have seen other products that cost twice as much that don't do half of what this does. It just works and the fact that they keep adding new stuff to stay ahead of the game is a huge plus.
Cons
I don't really have any major downsides to mention but I am really hoping they add more AI features as time goes on.

“Automation that simplifies workflow
Pros
I love how it automates the boring stuff for me. Connecting and graphing patent families is aso easy and honestly, their customer support team is amazing if I ever get stuck.
Cons
This might sound petty but it annoys me that I have to click into an empty field to start typing instead of the software just letting me type right away.

“comprehensive proofreading productivity tool
Pros
it's packed with features so I'll admit I don't use everything on the menu. But even then there are a few tools in here that are total game changers for my workflow. It's fantastic for checking claims making sure my drawings are numbered right and just proofreading in general.
Cons
Some features can be a little buggy here and there but you can tell the team is always working on it and constantly making it better.

“deep structural review assistant
Pros
go to tool for ripping apart a patent application to find structural issues. It makes reviewing drafts so much more thorough.
Cons
I do run into some false positives occasionally. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they'll roll out more AI-powered features soon.

“all in one patent toolkit
Pros
The value here is just insane. This one piece of software does so much, I use it for everything from generating an IDS to proofing my claims. It really does it all.
Cons
The user interface can sometimes be overwhelming and complicated to use sometimes.

“accurate and efficient tool
Pros
love this software... the claim review feature making charts and checking antecedent basis is fast, spot-on and super easy to use. And the specification review is just as thorough. It does exactly what I hoped it would: it speeds up my review process and makes it way more accurate without me having to squint at the screen for hours.
Cons
I have not stumbled upon any issues with it yet.

“time saving drafting assistant
Pros
It really comes down to three things that help me daily. First, I use it to check my claims, whether it's a freshly drafted app or edits I am making for an Office Action response. Second, downloading art and Office Actions from the USPTO and generating response shells is a massive time-saver. Third, just filling out and generating USPTO forms directly is so convenient.
Cons
It definitely takes alot of clicks to download, process and generate an office action shell. But honestly the amount of time it saves me makes it totally worth it.

“Antecedent checking productivity boost
Pros
This software is packed with features but honestly the heavy hitters for me are checking for antecedent basis, fixing numbering and catching formatting errors in claims. It spots things my eyes just glaze over and it has slashed my proofreading time. It literally pays for itself.
Cons
No complaints here. This thing just works incredibly well.

“secure standalone drafting solution
Pros
Getting this installed was simple. It just works, it's easy to figure out and they are always updating it to make it better. But the customer service? Unreal. I wish every IT project at our firm had this level of support. I use it constantly and when I build it into my process, I prepare applications way faster and better. Huge bonus: it sits on my PC. We have clients who absolutely forbid any cloud software that remotely accesses their documents so the fact that it's standalone is non-negotiable for us.
Cons
only issue I have is that certain ways I phrase things can confuse the software. I like better natural language processing or machine learning could fix this but for what we need it would have to be its own built-in system.

“smart IDS autofill assistant
Pros
It makes reviewing claims whether in the original app or during amendments...so much easier. It's a lifesaver for catching those sneaky antecedent basis errors and claim numbering mistakes that slip past a regular review. The IDS tool alone has saved my staff hours by auto-filling forms with patent publications. And I also rely on it to check the spec for reference number consistency.
Cons
I wish the auto-fill feature would let me add non-patent literature to an IDS. It would also be amazing to have a way to manage references between related cases so if I add a reference to one case, it could automatically cross-reference and fill the IDS for the others.

“graphical claim chart efficiency
Pros
the claim error checking is the MVP. It catches those tricky antecedent basis issues that are so easy to mess up when drafting. Plus having it check that all my item numbers in the written description are consistent saves me hours of manual scrolling. The graphical claim charts are super useful too and just extracting claims into a Word table is a huge time-saver.
Cons
It can run a bit slow on my computer but I am pretty sure that's on my PC, not the software itself.

“Reliable proofreading confidence booster
Pros
With this tool I can run a check for the most common claim headaches in just a couple of clicks. I also love how easily it verifies part number consistency across the whole spec. Sure it might flag something as an antecedent issue that's actually fine but it does a great job of highlighting exactly what I need to double-check. Overall it's saved me from countless proofreading mistakes and lets me file with confidence knowing I haven't missed any glaring errors.
Cons
I have just one tiny issue... every once in a while, it misinterprets a claim term. Other than that everything else is fantastic.

“rapid error scanning workflow
Pros
I love how easy it is to quickly scan for those hard-to-find errors. I can zip through and make sure my part numbers are right in the spec and that my claims are solid. The other tools like whipping up a quick shell for my responses are really handy too.
Cons
information panel would refresh automatically as I fix issues. The feature where you click around to find errors does not flow well when you are in the middle of fixing stuff. I usually end up running the tool a few times just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

“powerful drafting lifesaver but I need a Mac version
Pros
It is just ridiculously good at catching stupid mistakes like wrong reference numbers or messed-up terminology. It also digs up all your antecedent basis problems. This is a total lifesaver if you are making late changes to a spec. It's saved my skin more times than I can count and it's way cheaper than anything else out there.
Cons
Can't use this on my Mac. I do most of my work on a Mac but I have to keep a PC around for gaming just so I can run it. I would seriously love to see this become a cloud-based suite or at the very least, give us a Mac version
