Transformed my workflow with flexible agendas

Pros

It has had a huge positive impact on my daily work and I think it's an excellent product. It has made my workflow dramatically better. Since I'm very particular about organization I really value how much flexibility the platform gives me to structure a closing agenda exactly the way I want. Being able to create categories, action items and customized tags for those action items is incredibly useful. The newer feature that lets you add dates to items has also been a big help. I use a large portion of the features available in it and I've really appreciated how responsive the team is and how dedicated the developers seem to improving the product. If I had to pick the most valuable features it would be variables and signatures. Those two save me a tremendous amount of time and significantly cut down on the possibility of mistakes. At this point variables are an essential part of how I work. I was also genuinely excited when iManage integration was introduced, that may be the best enhancement they've added yet. Schedules are another feature I really enjoy especially being able to link other items as schedules. The share function for exporting a large batch of files at once works extremely well and the snapshot feature is equally useful. And I definitely have to mention the closing books system too which I appreciate a lot.

Cons

There's very little about it that I dislike. To be fair I mainly use it as my personal closing agenda and tracking tool so I don't have extensive experience with multiple teams working in the same deal at once. That setup seems to function well even if it's not the way I personally prefer to use the software. One improvement I would really love to see is automatic conversion of Excel spreadsheets into PDF files. Right now I have to open the spreadsheet in Excel, print it to PDF, choose the right paper size or zoom so everything fits on one page and then upload that file into the software. If the spreadsheet changes I have to repeat the entire process again which is definitely inconvenient. I'm not sure how difficult that feature would be to ring about but it would be a major upgrade in my opinion.

simple e-signatures

Pros

Using this has been a really positive experience especially because it's so simple to work with and the Electronic Signatures feature is a huge help. It makes the whole process feel at least ten times faster and overall it's been fantastic.

Cons

One thing I have run into is a delay when updating the Agenda. A lot of the time I have to stop and slow my pace, otherwise some of the entries end up erasing themselves.

Easy checklist replacement

Pros

This has been an excellent replacement for the Word-based checklists we used before. It keeps all of my transaction documents connected to the checklist and being able to handle signatures and counterparts in one place is a huge plus. The interface is very user friendly so it didn't take long to get comfortable using it.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the fact that the document name is fixed in the first column. I'd rather have the flexibility to rearrange the columns however I want.

clean workflow for closings

Pros

Has been really easy to work with because the interface is clean and user friendly. It makes it simple to keep track of documents organize signature pages and manage closing checklists without a lot of extra effort. The platform takes a process that is usually very manual and time-consuming and simplifies it nicely especially when multiple parties are involved. A big plus is that it cuts down on back and forth emails and automatically creates a polished closing book at the end of the transaction.

Cons

There are moments when the platform feels a little slow especially while editing or updating checklist items. Customization is also fairly limited since there are no options for bold or italic text or color formatting. It would be even better if the interface could be customized to fit a firm's internal style or branding guidelines.

Efficient book closing

Pros

Getting started with this software is very easy and it is very user friendly. I mainly rely on it for closing books and it's consistently fast and efficient every time.

Cons

I wish something like this had existed decades ago. It would have saved me a huge amount of time and effort. Many thanks for creating this product.

Keeps closing documents organized

Pros

Keeping closing documents organized is where this software really helps. Creating record books is simple and I also appreciate that they keep adding new tools to improve the program.

Cons

One area that still needs work is handling and compiling very large documents, along with better linking inside the program, such as linking to already linked documents.

The feature set feels well designed and it works as a really convenient tool for staying organized. The closing agenda import feature is especially fast which saves a lot of time.

Cons

Signature detection and matching can be a little inconsistent at times and editing text in the different item description fields can be frustrating.

Reliable time-saver

Pros

Managing closings takes a lot less time with this tool because it's easy and highly effective. The part that really sets the platform apart is the customer service. Their team is responsive at all hours including weekends and that level of support has been exceptional. I would absolutely recommend it.

Cons

There are still additional features that could be added. I've been using this since 2021 and there haven't been any major updates during that time. That may suggest the product already fits the market well but there's always room to improve. The new signature auto detect feature feels like a positive move in that direction.

closings done right!

Pros

Legal transactions can get pretty chaotic so having a platform that keeps documents and filing organized has been a big help. It gives us a proper way to manage everything and keeps the whole process much more structured.

Cons

Something that can be a bit inconvenient is the "mark as final" requirement. At times it creates a roadblock when we need to generate a closing agenda.

professional and well-organized

Pros

The interface feels use friendly and does a really good job of keeping the entire closing process organized. On top of that the final output gives our work a very polished and professional look.

Cons

A limitation is that it won't generate a CP checklist from scratch. You still need to prepare an initial draft of the CP checklist before using it.

Efficient deal tracking

Pros

Handling transaction documents, signatures and closing steps is very efficient with this software. The platform is easy to use and I really appreciate that the features and workflow improvements are being reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis. It also helps me maintain a record of completed transactions and gives me better visibility into the kinds of deals and data we are working with.

Cons

I didn't like not being able to create a separate test file for internal training or practice. Instead we had to leave one file open and keep reusing it for that purpose.

Simple setup

Pros

Setting up my closing book was very easy and the software is simple to use. The support team has also been outstanding, always quick to respond, friendly and clearly knowledgeable.

Cons

Do not have any complaints. Anytime I am unsure about something the support team is ready to help and always responds quickly.

closing essential for law firms

Pros

At our firm it plays a key role in getting deals finalized. We simply wouldn't be able to close transactions as fast or as efficiently without it. The iManage and DocuSign integrations make it very convenient to send documents directly from our database for signature. Any edits made in the database automatically sync to the platform as well which makes version control incredibly manageable. Another big plus is that the team keeps bringing out new features based on customer feedback so it really feels like they understand what clients need. Overall this is a must have platform for any law firm handling transactional closings.

Cons

Haven't seen any negatives about the platform. It works extremely well and supports my daily responsibilities all the time.

reliable deal management powerhouse

Pros

From the first few uses it felt easy to figure out and noticeably cut down the time spent managing deals. The platform's strong security features add a lot of confidence and the customization options adjust well to different deal requirements. Its reliability and overall efficiency have stood out consistently. All in all it's a powerful solution that really transforms deal management with a user friendly design and well rounded features.

Cons

The part I liked least was that it takes some training to use the platform initially. Because it offers such effective features it took time and effort to fully understand all of the features and customization options although that may not be a major issue for everyone.

a must-have for large closings

Pros

Being able to attach schedules separately to each item especially when linking other items from it has completely changed the way I put together large documents with lots of schedules and exhibits. It makes a massive difference in keeping everything organized and I honestly wouldn't want to go back to compiling documents any other way.

Cons

I'd still love to see more formatting options added so there's more room to personalize the deal like using different colors for categories and being able to highlight text in notes.

handy uploads

Pros

Using it felt very convenient because the features are organized in a way that makes basic tasks like uploading documents,simple and not confusing. I also appreciated that it consistently showed updates about when a document was last uploaded or modified.

Cons

The only problem I ran into was at the beginning when I tried to open the folder with my lawyer's email address and was denied access. I later learned that I needed to be added as an admin but as an assistant it would have been much simpler if I could access it through my lawyer's email without having to go through the extra admin setup process.

Great integration

Pros

Has been really easy to use. It connects well with iManage and DocuSign and the customer service has been excellent whenever help is needed.

Cons

I'd still like to see an option to compile signature pages without having to mark the file as final first, a feature that it is lacking for now.

closing process time saver

Pros

Working as a junior at a large law firm it saves me several hours every week. It makes big transactions much more organized helps prevent administrative mistakes and significantly improves the way closing documents are executed.

Cons

There were some syncing issues with DocuSign in the past but those have already been resolved. I do not have any complaints at this point.

amazing support

Pros

Getting this set up with the way our firm already works was very easy. The training and support were outstanding and I haven't seen this level of customer service in the IT space before. It was an incredibly valuable resource during the rollout across the whole firm.

Cons

One small issue we've run into is with the DocuSign integration: the signatures end up in the corner of the signature pages instead of landing on the actual signature lines.

Putting together Closing Books at the end of a transaction is really quick with this software and it's very easy to use.

Cons

Would be better if it had direct sync with iManage since there's still some back and forth moving documents between the two programs.
