“Streamlining investigations with smart software integration
Pros
The software really helps us prioritize and manage various issues within our organization. It's built on the AR framework and integrates with BMC/Remedy to automatically create case records, which makes our investigations much smoother. We can store documentation and add data to better understand and quantify each issue.
Cons
It can be tricky to support a large corporate environment with varying security levels, processes and architecture. That being said Column IT seems very open to feedback and is dedicated to improving their processes overall.

“Column case management: the ultimate investigation tool
Pros
Column Case Management System is perfect for managing investigations from start to the end. Everything related to an investigation is saved in Column and we don't even keep hard copies anymore once the documents are uploaded. The journal entries really tell the story of the investigation. We even customized it to request and generate subpoenas directly from Column, what a huge time-saver! It's super userfriendly, which makes it easy for investigators and auditors to track everything assigned to them. At any point, they can check the status of a specific investigation.
Cons
Honestly there's nothing I can think of to mention at this time.

“Why Column is the go to for non-IT help desks and beyond
Pros
This application is incredibly acessible, there's not much it can't do. If it can't do something out of the box, it can be customized (though at a cost) to meet your needs. But the biggest advantage Column has over most of its competitors is the use of Float/Concurrent licenses. This significantly reduces the overall yearly maintenance costs compared to other options. We use it for our Non-IT Help Desks and honestly, if you are not running an IT shop, Column Case Management is the way to go. Many people try to go with ITSM suites but they are not ideal for this situation since ITSM suites align IT services with business lines, which limits their use when you're only working with one line of business.
Cons
The customization aspect can get pretty pricey. While I believe future versions of the application won't require additional customizations, in our current situation, upgrading will cost extra to ensure the same customizations remain in the latest version.
