“Ai-driven contract standardization

Pros

Using the new AI capabilities has helped me standardize workflows. I can send a prompt to Composer AI and have it draft, finalize and even send out a contract in one go, including client-specific details which saves me a lot of time.

Cons

Composer's document generation is slow when handling very large documents and I think it really needs to prioritize major performance improvements.

“Reliable agreement creation and support

Pros

Creating agreements, statements and summaries is something I regularly rely on this tool for. It's simple to begin using, yet there's enough depth to handle complex needs. I really value the online resources and the active user group that offers webinars and a forum where customers share real-world tips and solutions. The initial configuration was quick and feasible for me.

Cons

A couple of things I'd like to see improved, first, numerous links in the online documentation still don't function correctly when clicked. I suspect this stems from Conga's website redesign they completed within the past year. Second, parts of this tool's interface (and the Batch interface) look unfinished and sometimes truncate text. I've gotten used to these quirks over time but they initially confused me and made the experience a bit jarring when I first started using the product.

Pros

Customization is one of the biggest advantages I see. I appreciate how it connects with Salesforce, e-signature tools and other third-party platforms which makes document generation and automation much more powerful in my workflow.

Cons

At this point, I haven't found anything I dislike about it.

“simple implementation

Pros

Implementation felt simple from my perspective. I can easily build solutions, run queries to pull data and format everything into templates that fit our processes. Support has always been friendly and helpful and my colleagues enjoy using the product daily. The wide range of integrations also gives me flexibility to connect it with other applications we depend on.

Cons

Template creation was a little tricky for me at first. I get that when a product covers so many use cases it can feel complex initially. It would have helped if there had been some hands-on implementation training available for newcomers. A guided walkthrough or beginner-focused session would make the learning curve less steep and let new users get productive faster.

“Fast complex document production

Pros

For me, complex documents are produced quickly. I can easily build dynamic templates using this feature which adds dynamic fields and conditional repeat tables to keep configuration feasible. I can also produce files in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and HTML email formats.

Cons

Integration has been delayed for me due to insufficient Composer API documentation and I find the available materials inadequate for proper guidance. On top of that, although the tool appears within the platform, I can't access it without paying additional fees which adds unexpected costs for us.

Pros

We've been using this tool for document generation and now it includes AI integrations so we can handle things like creating documents and eSignatures just by typing simple prompts. It also offers a built-in prompt library that makes it easy for me to show our users how to work with Composer AI in practice.

Cons

i haven't seen meaningful improvements to other Composer features such as the core Composer solution or query tools. It feels like it is focusing more heavily on AI integration with Composer rather than refining existing functionality that I still rely on.

“User-friendly ui and flexibility

Pros

I'm really impressed with how user-friendly the UI is for building documents with this tool. What I appreciate most is the flexibility it gives through its many parameters. There are options to cover every scenario I run into, whether I'm generating backgrounds or choosing specific output formats. The documentation and customer support are both excellent, the docs are clear and feasible to follow, so when I'm integrating the tool I don't find any real hurdles.

Cons

At first, the template creation workflow felt somewhat unconventional to me and a bit complicated to navigate. It took extra effort on my part to fully understand and adapt to the structure.

We've found this tool packed with features that let us automate our document creation workflow, offering plenty of built-in capabilities out of the box. It supports generating documents into several formats like PDF and DOC which comes in handy because it lets us produce multiple output types from a single template. The product also plugs into CPQ so we can build documents that reflect the most up-to-date pricing information.

Cons

There have been situations where certain formatting options simply weren't supported which I found frustrating. I've also experienced challenges with Support, as the level of deep Composer expertise didn't always meet my expectations making it harder for me to resolve issues quickly.

it's so user-friendly and I like that support team has always been extremely helpful.

Cons

For me, there's nothing to gripe about when it comes to it or their product.

Pros

I've found Composer to be a cut above other document-generation solutions thanks to how well it integrates and its great document-creation features. It lets me set up templates in many ways, produce documents flexibly and deliver them through eSignature partners like Conga Sign or Adobe Sign.

Cons

Composer's APIs haven't been very useful because of persistent performance problems and I've noticed that it doesn't expose APIs for some of Composer's features.
