“a complete disaster for data integrity
Pros
When I save proposals, I find it simple to transition to a more reliable vendor if needed and I don't run into unnecessary complications.
Cons
If you take data integrity seriously, we would strongly advise avoiding this company. Over the years we relied on their software and ran into multiple occasions where the proposal data was wrong. One alarming example happened when we sent a data processing agreement to every customer, the PDF download contained completely different numbered lists than what appeared in the signing UI (I have a screenshot). That discrepancy made us look extremely unprofessional and embarrassed our team. Support's response was useless, they told us they "could not change signed documents." When we pushed back and said the downloaded PDF must match what was actually signed, our concerns were effectively dismissed. Another time, following a system update, the currency on our documents was automatically flipped from euros to dollars which meant proposals showed about 15% less revenue. Luckily our customers were forgiving and signed corrected versions but it was an unnecessary headache. We also struggled with the Salesforce integration, PDFs failed to sync correctly and support again had no real fix, so we ended up manually downloading hundreds of files ourselves. When we chose to migrate away from the platform, we tried the 'bulk download' option to export all contracts. The tool reported the right number of files but every single PDF was actually the same document duplicated. We only discovered that problem when a client requested their contract during the transition. Support's answer was basically that "we shouldn't use that feature." After all of this, we switched to PandaDoc and it has been a massive relief, our proposals now look more professional, editing is far smoother, the pricing works better for us and onboarding wrapped up in a week. Looking back, we honestly wish we'd made the move much sooner.

“Automated proposal precision
Pros
I'm genuinely impressed by how it automates the entire process of creating and sending sales proposals directly from our CRM. It removes the heavy document work from sales reps so I can focus more on closing deals. The conditional logic is especially valuable because it automatically inserts the right legal clauses or case studies based on industry and region. That automation cuts down mistakes, prevents copy-and-paste errors and ensures consistent branding, often reducing what used to take over thirty minutes to just a single click.
Cons
As an admin, I discovered that the initial setup requires a fairly deep dive. To get proposals looking absolutely pixel-perfect, I needed to become comfortable with the composer parameters and how they control layout and behavior. Although the documentation is thorough and helpful, there is a real learning curve when it comes to mastering the syntax for more advanced features and conditional behaviors, it took me some hands-on time to feel fully confident.

“Flexible salesforce integration tool
Pros
Working with this tool has been very flexible for me. It integrates with Salesforce and Word, giving me strong control over dynamic documents with many variable fields. I also appreciate how it connects with Adobe Sign and Google Drive which makes daily tasks easier. Although there was a learning curve at first, it became highly adaptable over time and the onboarding team was very supportive during implementation.
Cons
Although the platform is powerful, there's a noticeable learning curve that I found a bit steep at first, so it can be somewhat tricky to use right away. I wish there were a simple click-and-start interface to get going faster. At the moment, I have to get deep into composing URLs with the variables embedded in them which feels clunky. It would be much nicer to have a step-by-step flow that shows the choices and then automatically builds the button or URL for those functions. Also, I'm frustrated that dynamic email content has to be determined and merged outside of te template itself, because that approach isn't very user-friendly.

“Bulk document creation simplified
Pros
I appreciate that the platform offers an API for bulk document creation. We've integrated it into our system to generate documents faster and the batch processing significantly improves throughput and overall system performance for our users.
Cons
Often we run into login problems with this tool. We've also dealt with several outages and on some occasions diagnosing and resolving those problems takes far too long which at times ends up disrupting our business operations.

“Complex document automation mastery
Pros
In complex document-generation scenarios, I find this product extremely useful. It allows me to use SOQL queries to pull data from multiple objects and format it exactly how I need, even into tables. It supports various output types like PDF and includes automation features that align document creation, along with convenient support features such as automatic package upgrades.
Cons
the interface feels a bit dated and I wish the app had more contextual help text scattered throughout so I could get guidance where I need it.

“Simple template automation
Pros
What stands out to me is how it removes the manual effort from document creation. Instead of copying data from Salesforce into Word, everything flows automatically into predefined templates. That consistency helps me produce polished, uniform proposals and customer documents while staying within our Salesforce environment. I've also found the support team responsive whenever assistance is needed.
Cons
Designing document layouts can be time-consuming, particularly when the documents have many sections or include conditional elements. I often have to test them a few times before the final version appears exactly as I want.

“Accurate salesforce document generation
Pros
For our team, the product makes it easy to generate business documents directly from Salesforce. It pulls live data into templates so proposals, quotes and contracts stay accurate. When paired with Conga CPQ and CLM, documents are created automatically after approvals which saves me time and improves the quality of what we send to customers. Support has been responsive whenever we've reached out.
Cons
I find building and maintaining the more intricate templates takes a fair bit of work especially when documents include many data fields or complex formatting rules. New team members usually need training to get comfortable with the template design and data mapping.

“easy implementation through this tool!!
Pros
I really appreciate how feasible the implementation process is. By creating templates and building the logic within Salesforce, I can quickly set up a ready-to-use environment for agreement management. Combining Salesforce and Word features gives me a practical and efficient way to generate agreements.
Cons
there are a few additional capabilities I'd like to see. For example, features to support negotiation workflows or to handle parallel reductions when multiple parties need to interact aren't available right now. It also lacks a true online, standalone option, we have to use it within Salesforce. I think adding those types of features down the line would make the product more flexible and would really benefit customers.

“One-click workflow automation
Pros
one thing i like most is how this document-generation tool can automate the entire workflow with a single click. I also like the wide range of templates and document types available because they make drafting and managing contracts much faster and easier for me.
Cons
Personally, I feel the tool is lacking AI-driven features, I believe adding intelligent automation and smart suggestions would greatly improve usability and make routine tasks faster and more convenient.

“Salesforce document assembly simplified
Pros
it connects directly with Salesforce which simplifies the whole process of assembling documents. I can create highly customizable templates, the setup was easy for me and the automation handles most of the document creation work. Whenever I've had questions, the support team has been responsive and I also appreciate that the platform can generate documents in several different formats.
Cons
One thing I noticed is that while it does an excellent job generating documents, its reporting capabilities fall short compared to what some teams require. I've also run into problems when trying to produce very large batches of documents, the tool can struggle or slow down which has been a limitation for some of my high-volume needs.

“aligned daily document creation
Pros
For my daily work, this tool really helps align document creation while keeping everything consistent. I can produce standardized proposals, contracts and reports directly from Salesforce without repeating the same tasks. Once the initial setup was done, it fit smoothly into our routine and allowed the team to generate documents quickly without worrying about manual formatting.
Cons
I've found the biggest point is the upfront setup and building of templates which can take a lot of time and often needs someone with technical know-how. Tweaking complicated templates isn't always easy and diagnosing problems can drag on longer than I expect. The interface can feel a bit old-fashioned in spots which makes getting new team members up to speed harder. That said, once everything is configured and stable, it reliably handles ongoing document generation.

“Advanced multi-object document creation
Pros
I find it excellent for document creation because it offers advanced capabilities that let me pull information from multiple objects and combine everything into one well-structured document.
Cons
Because it demands a fairly high level of expertise, I had to undergo training to learn how to build and maintain templates inside the system.

“Flexible api for polished workflows
Pros
One thing I value a lot is how flexible the APIs are. I use them to retrieve data from this platform and they allow me to apply conditional logic, maintain consistent branding and produce documents in formats like Word, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint. That flexibility makes our workflows much smoother.
Cons
That said, the main downside I find is the steep initial learning curve. When someone new, whether a user or a developer, starts working with it, getting familiar with all the features, settings and different API endpoints can take quite a bit of time and patience.

“Live data to polished documents
Pros
What I really like is that the tool converts live sales records into polished documents, such as proposals, agreements, quotes, amendments and reports, without requiring manual copy-and-paste. Because everything pulls directly from Salesforce data, I know the documents always contain the latest approved information which helps me avoid pricing mistakes or missing details in customer-facing materials.
Cons
When a document won't generate or the data doesn't merge correctly, the error messages are often vague and unhelpful. I end up doing a lot of trial and error to figure out what went wrong instead of getting clear, actionable guidance. On top of that, getting the system up and running wasn't really simple. Day-to-day use is simple but certain configurations demand a deep understanding of the product and it took our team quite a while to learn and properly set those up from the start.

“great automation tool with frequent support challenges
Pros
For contract generation, the automation and customization features are extremely helpful to me. We manage many templates and clauses that vary depending on the product, so having a system that can process all of that automatically saves me a lot of manual effort and keeps everything consistent.
Cons
Although the automation is useful, it seems to fail frequently with no obvious fix. Everything requires submitting a ticket and each ticket is handled individually which turns problem resolution into an extremely slow process. I know a fair amount about queries, the clause library, our templates, clause bundles and more, yet I still can't figure out why things break so often or where to even start fixing them. We won't change anything and then clauses will suddenly break or appear blank. There are parts of the system that have been broken for over two years. Right now I have more than 20 open tickets on different issues that nobody on my team knows how to resolve. We've accumulated so many workarounds for recurring problems that those stopgap procedures have become our normal workflow. There are so many broken or malfunctioning pieces that I don't see us ever catching up on the backlog especially since I keep finding and creating new tickets. Opening a single ticket takes significant time and effort, I have to provide all the details, screenshots, examples, opportunity links, attachments, etc. Then we do screen shares to make sure the support team understands our process, the steps we take and the exact issue. Often a single ticket requires multiple calls or back-and-forth emails and sometimes a separate ticket has to be opened with Corporate Systems that ties into our ticket. We then spend time testing any proposed fixes and only after that do we make the change or upload a new template to production. It's a drawn-out, grueling cycle that forces us to focus on one issue at a time when there are many important things that need attention. We all want the ability to resolve issues ourselves and to prevent them from happening in the first place but I'm not confident that will ever be possible. The whole configuration of this tool with our templates and clauses is just too complex, 1) my team can't realistically understand, investigate, or fix everything on our own and 2) things can become misaligned or break for no clear reason. Every problem seems to require deep investigation that we simply don't have the time for. My role has gradually shifted to managing these support tickets daily which pulls me away from the contract review work I should be spending my time on.

“Composer speeds tender document creation
Pros
In our tender and offer workflow, we rely heavily on Composer for document generation. Since adopting it, I've noticed that document creation takes much less time and we find fewer errors. It integrates smoothly with our CPQ system, allowing me to pull data directly and generate documents with one click, while exporting them in formats like PDF, Excel, or Word.
Cons
I've logged numerous support tickets with Technical Support previously because generated documents were sometimes populated with incorrect data coming from CPQ. Even though these occurrences have become very uncommon, they still pop up occasionally and are quite aggravating. That said, we now understand the fault wasn't with Composer itself, the problem stemmed from inconsistent or incorrect data in the backend which helps explain the issue.

“Accurate Salesforce document production
Pros
My main use for this tool is producing accurate, professional documents directly from Salesforce, including proposals, quotes, contracts and reports. It merges live Salesforce data into predefined templates which reduces manual work and keeps documents consistent. I also like that it speeds up approval workflows and allows me to create custom processes tailored to our requirements.
Cons
We find the tool undeniably useful but there are a few areas where it could be improved to enhance the overall experience. The initial setup and configuration, particularly when dealing with complicated templates or advanced data queries, can take a lot of time and usually demands technical know-how. Newer team members especially face a noticeable learning curve before they feel confident designing templates and diagnosing merge problems.
