“Easy setup”
Pros
Getting started with this software was quick because it does not take long to figure out and the interface feels very accessible. I was able to understand how everything worked and get fully up and running in about 15 minutes. I used it during a one day federal trial for a local attorney and it performed flawlessly the entire time.
Cons
The iTrial app was a little buggy when importing files from Dropbox although it did end up working in the end.

“Delivers real value!”
Pros
For the price this software delivers real value! While presenting in an NCLT court I was able to use the split screen feature for screen sharing comparisons and switch quickly between documents, digital evidence and photographs during the defense. The tools for highlighting, shading and drawing attention to key parts of documents gave me a clear advantage in the courtroom compared with the conventional approach. I could also bookmark items and play pre-marked videos prepared by my seniors which helped keep the proceedings flowing quickly and without interruptions.
Cons
Mac incompatibility is one issue that still comes to mind especially since I remember a senior advocate running into that problem. It also does not support some video codecs and formats yet. Other than that there are no major drawbacks in daily use. If anything the continued innovation and regular updates keep improving the product over time.
