“Helpful AI summaries

Pros

I really like that it can produce AI-generated summaries in varying lengths which makes it simple for me to get either a quick rundown or a more detailed overview depending on what I need.

Cons

When I ask the AI something in a particular language, I expect the reply in that same language. For example, I'll write my question in German but it sometimes answers back in English and then I have to ask it again to translate the response for me. That gets pretty annoying and slows me down.

Pros

Using it feels simple and I find the AI features really helpful.

Cons

I work at a company where not everyone is signed up as a user so when I need to share information it ends up being sent via the same Excel sheet exchanges we use with other tools too.

“Easy to find patent documents

I've been able to locate highly relevant prior art patent documents really quickly using this tool.

Cons

Getting comfortable with the query builder required me to invest some time and experience.

I'm finding the askAI feature extremely useful for my needs.

More often than not, it requires me to log in twice before I'm finally granted access.

What I like most is the Ask AI feature, the filtering options and the ability to export to Orbit.

I appreciate that I can search and filter the hit list using natural language.

Screening and searching citations is less simple than other search methods.

Found it to be user-friendly, it gives quick answers and helps me find good documents.

I find the 'Ask AI' option quite limited. I really need that capability to process large volumes of documents and to ask several follow-up questions.

Pros

What I like is that I can type a brief description or claim and use it directly as the search query which makes it quick and simple to look up what I'm trying to find.

Cons

It restricts how many results I can get and it doesn't let me run batch queries asking the same questions across multiple items. I also feel the AI underneath lacks sophistication and fidelity and would benefit from significant improvements.

“Love the askAI feature

Pros

Using it is convenient and it outputs files that are simple to handle. What I like most is the "ask AI" feature and I also appreciate being able to filter results by basic yes/no criteria.

Cons

It doesn't yet offer document comparison. Like other AI products, it sometimes invents information so I always double-check the outputs before trusting them.

Pros

For an initial review, I find the documents relevant, particularly when I use Image search and Ask AI/Smart filters.

Cons

The highlighted text is rarely relevant, even though Ask AI's answers point to good paragraphs.

I really appreciate the free search query feature that includes a search tree.

Honestly, I still find the menu somewhat confusing.

I'm able to pick it up quickly and it consistently gives me useful insights I can act on.

Would be great if sharing AskAI content worked better. I want more options to collaborate directly.

Pros

This tool is incredibly handy, delivering a significant boost in my productivity whenever I use the AI chat alongside the AI filter, it's made many tasks much faster and easier for me.

When I import a list into a collection, I don't have the option to swap the patent for another member of the family which can be limiting. For example, the patent I import can't be processed on IPrally because its publication isn't readable there yet other family members like the US or EP versions process fine. It's a minor annoyance but I would really appreciate that capability when I'm working through very large lists.

When I use the free-text search, it consistently returns very relevant hits that are presented clearly and can be exported without any issues.

Cons

Overall, I don't have any complaints because there aren't any features that I dislike.

“Multiple search approaches

Pros

I like that it provides multiple search methods like text, image and graph and I get very precise results. I can also shrink result lists by using intelligent filters.

Cons

As a user, I still face a significant lack of guidance throughout the system something traditional Boolean databases handle far better. For example, they offer features like highlighting, export/import and a more flexible Boolean search, here the Boolean options feel too limited and rigid. And I miss being able to display documents exactly in the imported order or to pick which jurisdictions I prefer to view by default (DE, EP, etc.). Sadly, I can't do without relying on a Boolean database.

“Reliable support team

Pros

Right away the customer interface feels easy and new payment features get introduced really quickly. I use RemotePass regularly for all of my international transactions and having everything connected in one place makes the whole process very convenient. Their support team is also quite large and incredibly responsive, on one occasion, they stepped in to resolve a transaction issue and made sure everything went through without any trouble.

Cons

There was one time when I was slightly late for a transaction but considering how simple the platform is to use and how strong the support is, it wasn't a big deal to me.

“simple setup and flexible withdrawals

Pros

Getting started on the platform feels very easy. The interface is simple to follow and setting up an account or exploring the basic features doesn't take much effort, even without much prior experience. Another thing that works well is the range of withdrawal options, including local bank transfers and digital wallets which makes accessing funds from different places much more convenient. The guide documentation is also well organized and detailed, so onboarding and troubleshooting are much easier. The instructions are clear enough that there's less need to reach out for support.

Cons

A few sections of the site still feel a bit clunky and not as polished as they could be, with some tasks taking more clicks than necessary. The withdrawal flow could also be more direct, since it currently requires going into the contract and manually checking it before completing the withdrawal. A simpler process would definitely save time and effort.

“powerful features and quick support

Pros

Whenever I've needed help, the support team has responded quickly. The software is simple to use, integrates without much effort and comes with plenty of useful features. Implementation was also easy and didn't take much time.

Cons

no complaints. Everything has worked well overall and if anything, it could be made a little faster even though it already performs well.

Every part of the platform feels well thought out and the user experience is smooth from one step to the next. You can tell usability has been considered across all user journeys.

Cons

nothing to complain about since everything works well overall. The only thing I'd suggest is adding a mobile app in the future.
