“User-friendly for signatures, poor search function
Pros
I find the tool fairly user-friendly when it comes to sending contracts out for signatures as the process is simple and efficient. However I really struggle to locate older agreements in the system so it hasnt been very helpful for me when I need to retrieve past documents or review historical terms. A stronger search or archive function would make a big difference for long-term usability.
Cons
It's nearly impossible to locate older contracts. The search fields are awkward and with years of data, searches often return irrelevant results.

“excellent for tracking contract redlines
Pros
For our legal team Ironclad is excellent for tracking contract redlines. It provides a smooth, consolidated way to negotiate agreements, keeps a clear audit trail for compliance and has a user-friendly interface. The Outlook integration makes managing correspondence easier.
Cons
I cannot think of anything I dislike as it performs exactly as we need, simplifying negotiations and reliably keeping an audit trail for compliance.

“enjoy user-friendly interface and collaboration
Pros
I enjoy the user-friendly interface and collaboration features. The UI is clean, modern and not too technical so I get up to speed quickly. Collaboration tools like comments and version control are great.
Cons
Heavy redlining or PDF-to-Word editing makes the workflow laggy especially when downloading and re-uploading files outside the system.

The contract lifecycle flows smoothly with clear workflows. The user-friendly dashboard makes tracking, editing and managing documents simple.
Cons
As a new user I found it challenging and templates are less customizable than some editors.

“Genuinely helps improve contract drafting
Pros
My biggest challenge when drafting contracts was choosing the right phrasing to cover every detail. Ironclad has genuinely helped improve this. Its AI assistant streamlines drafting and I no longer stress over wording. It also has everything I need to assemble documents and complete them with secure e-signatures saving time and reducing friction.
Cons
It's a work tool with far more advantages than downsides. I haven't run into any issues and likeits reliability.

“Pleased with better contract control
Pros
I am pleased with how Ironclad gives me better control of contract management. It guides each step in detail and stores agreements securely making older contracts easy to locate. E-signatures are smoother and faster and the process feels more secure.
Cons
The onboarding has a steep learning curve. It's hard to understand the system without spending a lot of time.

“Automated smooth approval chain
Pros
We replaced our outdated procurement processes with Ironclad, automating workflows and establishing a smooth approval chain that includes every stakeholder for vendor contracts.
Cons
Tracking renewals is unreliable. We use a separate tool to monitor end dates because Ironclad doesn't send alerts as termination approaches.

“Clear audit trail, confusing navigation
Pros
I like the clear audit trail when preparing and sending quotes which makes tracking changes and approvals easy.
Cons
It's sometimes hard to find the exact step or message I need. So yes the conversation/threading view could be improved.

“Cleaner interface with smooth integrations
Pros
The interface is cleaner than most CLM tools I have used and it's clearly built with integrations in mind. I am typically impressed because those integrations usually work smoothly.
Cons
As a forward-thinking product I'd like more built-in guidance on what top-tier CLM should be. Right now it feels like a choose-your-own-adventure which is overwhelming without a dedicated admin.

“Reliable centralized contract workflow
Pros
Our team relies on Ironclad to handle contract management and centralize our contract workflow and review processes in one place. It's excellent for collaborating on drafts leaving comments and tracking changes throughout the lifecycle.

I'd love broader integrations with more systems and platforms to make it easier to fit into our tech stack.

“Find any document with one click
Pros
Being able to find any document with a single click is a huge win. it eliminates digging through folders or wasting time on searches. Overall its incredibly easy and genuinely saves me time every single day.
Cons
The homepage layout could be rearranged as I still get confused about whether a document has been accepted.

“Recommended for salesforce integration
Pros
I'd recommend Ironclad especially when looking for a contract lifecycle management tool that integrates smoothly with Salesforce.
Cons
We cannot add images inside contract templates blocking a fully automated contract-generation workflow and preventing 100% automation.
