Handles the entire workflow!

Pros

I can locate everything I need without having to leave the platform or hunt for information elsewhere. It genuinely handles the entire workflow, from opening a matter all the way through to finalizing documents. I'm also a big fan of the AI tool and it's genuinely handy.

Cons

So far, I haven't seen anything that I dislike.

clean interface and well-trained staff

Pros

I've found it to be one of the rare vendors that bundles matter management and contract management into a single platform. The Word add-in is really useful, it creates a link between the original files and the edited documents, handling version control and allowing text comparisons. The interface looks tidy and overall the system feels user-friendly. When something isn't provided out of the box, I've been able to fill those gaps with sensible integrations and additional modules. What impresses me most is the customer service. Their 24/7 support is rapid, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly.

Cons

The system only supports English. Also, I wish there were a centralized directory for business partners so we could manage them clearly and in one place.

Useful Office 365 integration

Pros

What I appreciate most is how simple it is to use, especially since I interact with it daily. Its Office 365 integration is top-notch. Rolling it out to our team was simple and the customer support has been consistently helpful.

Cons

Over the period I've been using this, something that frustrates me is the lack of an easy way to jump from one open matter to another. When a matter is open it's not simple to switch to a different one.

Customer service stands out!!

Pros

Their customer support stands out. The team is very helpful and usually provide practical solutions fast. If they can't resolve something right away, I notice they follow up and get back to me. Their responses feel genuinely warm and I honestly can't praise them enough.

Cons

I wish it had an automatic yearly reminder feature because I have to update dates manually each year which is tedious. Also, I've noticed it doesn't detect duplicate entries so I have to keep an eye out for double-ups myself.

friendly support staff

Pros

I'm really impressed by the their team's responsiveness and empathy. I've found the platform itself easy to use with a simple user interface that makes managing matters convenient.

Cons

I think it has a lot more room to grow specifically around contract management capabilities and by adding deeper AI-driven features and integrations.

truly outstanding experience with consistent, strong support

Pros

From start to finish our experience has been truly outstanding. Their dedication and customer service remained consistently strong from the sales engagement through setup and ongoing support. It's unusual to find a provider that sustains that same level of care after a purchase. For our legal team, standard project management systems never matched what we needed. This gives the tools we required to monitor and administer legal work efficiently. The business portal is a plus, it is offered to everyone in the organisation at no additional cost which has made it much easier to involve the wider business. Configuration is simple and adaptable covering matters and contracts, approval workflows and the business portal itself. I feel in control of the platform not dependent on the vendor.

Cons

Not exactly a complaint but more a word of warning. As LawVu grows, I really hope the platform's simplicity and the strength of support remain just as strong as they are now.

All-in-one solution

Pros

We find the platform to be an uncomplicated, all-in-one legal solution for our company. The onboarding was clear and simple and Sophie, our setup lead, gave exceptional support. They publish updates that add meaningful new capabilities to the platform.

Cons

I recognize the platform still lacks a few features my team requires. That said, I attend regular meetings with our account manager who works closely with us to make sure suggested functionality is properly passed along to their development team.

everything in one place!!!

Pros

Having everything centralized makes it so simple to keep track of matters and all communications. The interface is well organized and I can adjust it to our needs. I can assign tasks and message colleagues and stakeholders without leaving the platform. Big thanks to Candice for making the set up painless and the LawVu support team are consistently available and really cooperative.

Cons

I think the feedback feature when a ticket is closed needs work so we can better illustrate the value our team brings to the business. Improving that closure feedback would help us demonstrate impact more clearly across stakeholders.

love the 24/7 support

Pros

One thing I really like is how the platform lets me monitor our LSPs' total billing. Uploading invoices and contracts is simple which makes it easy for our legal team to retrieve documents and keep everything centralized. I also value the level of customer support provided. Having near round-the-clock assistance is uncommon and very helpful. The trainers who guided us were great. Our setup manager sophie was particularly wonderful. She was flexible with our timing, consistently accommodating our schedules, showed a lot of patience and took the time to answer every question we raised.

Cons

Haven't run into any issues so far.

Effective for collaboration

Pros

It makes collaboration feel pretty simple. I can quickly tag team members or assign matters and contracts directly to the person who needs them which keeps workflows moving along without unnecessary delays. The platform really helps ensure everyone stays aligned and that nothing slips through the cracks. Overall, I find it a convenient and efficient tool for legal operations. It's particularly useful for cross-functional teams that need clear visibility and coordination across legal workstreams and it also integrates with DocuSign and Adobe.

Cons

To be honest, I don't have any negatives to share. In my role as a requestor I haven't had any issues while using it.

effective way of coordinating with our internal legal team

Pros

In my team we juggle many different matters at once often working with outside suppliers. Because we're not legal specialists having a simple, effective method to coordinate with our internal legal team is essential. A visual dashboard showing each matter's progress would let us keep everything orderly and help us push contracts through more quickly from the initial request right through to signing.

Cons

I'd really welcome simpler access to the files we've attached to each matter because right now we aren't able to open them from within the matter itself and that leads to unnecessary confusion. It would also make a big difference if there were a more obvious way to spot new comments and changes since clearer tracking of edits and feedback would boost the overall usability for our team.

Lets me handle NDas

Pros

I can handle NDAs entirely on my own through the self-service portal which gives me great flexibility and speed. I can instantly check the status of open items, see exactly where things stand and quickly pull up previous conversations or documents for reference all without waiting on anyone else. It puts full visibility and control right at my fingertips.

Cons

At first the permissioning across various levels was confusing and took me some time to understand. I noticed marketing and business users couldn't open attachments inside tickets which really caused problems. Fortunately that issue has now been fixed.

cost-effective solution

Pros

I've found it to be a fairly inexpensive platform that reliably helps me organize matters and keep all related documentation in order.

Cons

The Outlook integration isn't very smooth when I'm trying to open new matters. It's less convenient than just creating those matters directly inside the platform itself.

one central hub

Pros

Appreciate that it gives me a single, central hub for handling tasks, contracts, emails and overall matter management.

Cons

I've noticed it can feel sluggish at times for example the Outlook integration with LawVu often takes a noticeable while to save or link emails and it can be slow to realise when a colleague has already attached an email to a matter. Those hiccups can hold up filing and make it harder to get through my inbox efficiently.

Userfriendly interface

Pros

One of the things I appreciate most about it is how friendly the interface feels so I can find what I need quickly. Having both matters and contract drafting/review tools in the same place keeps everything tidy and easy to manage. There's also a dedicated contracts area that I find simple to use which makes handling agreements much simpler.

Cons

I also find it really simple to assign tasks to team members. For example, I can quickly indicate what kind of contract is required and who should handle it. On top of that, it's handy that edits and updates can be done centrally rather than relying on endless email threads between colleagues. The matter status feature is another favorite of mine because it gives the team visibility into where a contract is in its lifecycle and any recent changes or progress.

increased our efficiency

Pros

Since we introduced it, the way our legal team at Aspire Pharma gets work done has changed for the better. The platform has added real order and structure to our processes especially when it comes to managing contracts. Thanks to the convenient search, filtering and categorisation features, we rely far less on email and now have much clearer visibility across every legal matter. The onboarding was exceptionally smooth for us, from the initial setup through to the post-launch assistance, every member of their team felt approachable, well informed and proactive. It quickly became obvious they focus on people first which made the rollout feel collaborative and custom-fit to our needs. It has also turned into a go-to tool for cross-functional collaboration in our organisation. It helps us manage legal tasks with the right context, simplifies how we communicate with business stakeholders and keeps our contracts and matters consistent. All told, it hasn't just made us more efficient, it's also helped us connect more effectively with the wider business. We trust and depend on the platform and are excited to carry on refining how we use it.

Cons

From our perspective as an in-house team one of the bigger challenges has been communicating what matters and contracts really mean to Business Users who don't immediately see the wider benefits. Even after presenting a Business Case, completing onboarding and scheduling follow-up calls there's still some resistance because LawVu asks people to change how legal work is handled, moving away from familiar inboxes and spreadsheets. Adoption has therefore created a bit of friction for certain teams. The system itself isn't hard to pick up but it does demand a genuine commitment to using it fully in order to unlock its value. Many business users don't yet grasp all the advantages or how to tweak the platform to suit very specific workflows beyond the current options. That mindset shift has made integration less smooth in places and has reduced how often some teams return to the system.

Simplifies managing matters

Pros

One thing I really value about it is the way it imposes clarity and oversight on legal workflows without making things overly complicated. Cons

While I find it to be a very capable platform overall more room for customizing dashboards and reporting views to suit particular team needs would be welcome. Sometimes the interface feels a bit rigid when adapting workflows or trying to surface specific data points quickly. Still, I appreciate that their team listens to feedback and I'm hopeful these aspects will keep improving further as they continue to evolve the product with user input.

attachments go missing

Pros

I've noticed it keeps a clear log of each matter I enter and lets me search those matters later when I need them.

Cons

When I submit the forms part of the form content and all attached files disappear. That leaves the record incomplete and makes it really difficult for me to check what I actually entered or supplied.

Pros

LawVu is really easy to use once you get familiar with everything. It is a modern platform that allows us to customize contract papers and other legal documents. The best part? The email integration, it makes it so simple to create or modify any law matter or content.
