“Powerful legal discovery tool

Pros

As someone who uses the discovery tool often I'm genuinely impressed by how well it performs. While it reminds me of ChatGPT in style I've found it answers legal questions with far more accuracy and consistency which makes a real difference in my day-to-day work.

Cons

Personally the 'Drafting' feature that generates contracts didn't exactly blow me away. I tried it once and almost immediately went back to using the discovery tool instead. To be fair I also suspect the issue is partly on my side I don't fully understand how to operate the drafting tool yet so I probably didn't tap into its full capabilities or achieve the best results it might offer.

“High-volume document review made easy

Pros

Hands down the review feature on this legal AI tech platform is what I value most. It makes the whole task of going through legal documents so much smoother by automatically spotting important clauses, flagging possible problems and offering practical recommendations. In my experience that combination really speeds up reviews while keeping accuracy and compliance intact. It's transformed how I handle high volumes of legal material and effectively replaces an FTE for me.

Cons

What I find frustrating about the review tool is that on occasion it freezes up or doesn't actually highlight the exact passage it's talking about. That makes it harder for me to track what it's referring to and to confirm the precise language and as a result the whole review takes a little longer than it should.

Pros

We find the interface easy which lets us handle all our contracts smoothly while staying compliant and the team behind this tool is always available to answer questions and acts as a genuinely supportive partner for our needs.

Cons

So far I don't really have any downsides to point out with this tool. In my day-to-day work it hasn't caused problems and overall I feel comfortable and content using it as part of my regular routine.

“Simple layout with flexible support

Pros

The layout is easy and I find it really easy to navigate plus the team is quite flexible.

Cons

At times when I'm searching for laws I notice that the results don't always come directly from original primary sources. From my perspective that can be annoying especially when I want to double-check information against the most authoritative references.

Pros

What I really appreciate is that the site anonymises data properly before anything is uploaded and I can also create custom agents and share them with my colleagues which makes collaboration much smoother.

Cons

From what I've seen the translation feature still feels unfinished. Since it's labeled as being in beta I personally don't trust it completely yet and usually double-check anything important.

“cited sources with responsive support

Pros

For me the support team has been really attentive and open to feedback about features and how things should work and I appreciate that sources are cited because it lets me check whether Fly is making things up or not.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see added is a connection to a real legal database. In my work it would be incredibly helpful if legal arguments could link back to actual case law, judgments or rulings so I could compare similar cases more easily.

Pros

I get editorial assistance, targeted analysis, well-developed argumentation and concrete strategic paths to pursue.

Cons

Every now and then the Discovery feature freezes on me. When that happens I have to restart the tool or start a brand-new conversation just to keep going which interrupts my flow. I've already flagged a layout issue both through the system and directly to Kristin but it's still there.

“Rapid product evolution

Pros

I've noticed massive development sprints that have enhanced the product significantly over the past few years. I really appreciated that they enabled interactions with documents, user profiles, translations and created helpful internal codes.

Cons

In my experience the software can be a bit imprecise at times. Because of that I feel I need a great legal background to use it confidently and avoid mistakes when relying on its output.
