proactive support !

Pros

It is pretty easy to use and the overall performance has been consistently strong. The support team has also been very helpful whenever needed. I have especially appreciated the playbook and prompt library since both add a lot of value to the workflow and make the platform more useful day to day.

Cons

The only real drawback is that the available contract type selections do not always match our specific contracts or purchase orders.

trusted AI with thoughtful upgrades

Pros

One thing that gives me confidence in LegalOn is that the AI model feels dependable and the product keeps getting better as the technology advances. Having in-house attorneys create and review the AI content makes a real difference especially since our Compliance Director handles contract reviews but is not a lawyer. Getting started was very easy so we were able to begin using the platform quickly. Once we were up and running, we also had the chance to meet with an in-house attorney to help refine our internal process. On top of that customer support has been highly responsive and consistently available whenever we need help. They've also rolled out several platform improvements in less than a year and most of those added features were included in our existing plan rather than pushing us into a more expensive subscription.

Cons

One limitation is that customer contracts are often made up of multiple documents and right now the AI cannot reference more than one document at a time. I'd also really value a feature that could identify whether a customer's contract documents conflict with the terms in our original proposal. Another drawback is that the new translation tool comes at an extra cost and as a small company,it's usually hard for us to justify taking on additional administrative expenses.

legal-focused lease review excellence

Pros

LegalOn is built for actual legal work instead of being just another generic document AI tool. its approach clearly matches how attorneys handle lease review, issue spotting and risk identification which made it stand out to me. I also appreciated how responsive and professional the team was throughout the onboarding process.

Cons

During the evaluation, one drawback I noticed was thatithad some difficulty with heavily customized or non-standard lease formats. If a firm regularly works with highly bespoke documents, that may mean doing a bit of extra manual review or cleanup to get the best results fromit.

user friendly contract review booster

Pros

The platform is user friendly and efficient and it has made our contract review process much more organized. it's been a real time saver. LegalOn's AI-driven analysis highlights key issues quickly and clearly which cuts down the time spent reviewing and reduces the back and forth with different internal teams.

Cons

I honestly don't see much of a downside though the idea of becoming too dependent on AI is a little unsettling.

indispensable for global contracts

Pros

Having LegalOn in our small in-house legal team has been incredibly valuable especially for reviewing and processing contracts quickly and properly. While comparing different CLM options, this one really appealed to me because the system is so easy to work with. It fits neatly into Microsoft Word so there is barely any extra software learning involved and the AI is highly developed as it clearly identifies clauses that need revisions and points out language that does not align with common contract standards or our internal requirements. A major reason I selected LegalOn was its powerful translation capability powered by DeepL which delivers natural, grammatically accurate translations across a wide range of languages. Since we are a multinational company working with clients around the world, that feature was essential and LegalOn genuinely handles it better than anything else I evaluated. On top of that their team is very proactive and the attorneys they provide work closely with us on setting up and refining playbooks. it has become an indispensable part of my daily workflow.

Cons

An issue with the newly updated platform is thatithas become harder to access the previous translation options especially when I want to view the original text and edit directly from that version. I have already raised this with the customer success team and they let me know they are actively working onit. Beyond that, there is honestly very little to complain about since they are highly efficient, cooperative and consistently check in while providing quick and helpful support.

contract review time saver

Pros

Handling a large volume of contracts feels much more manageable with LegalOn because it gives us a consistent structure for reviewing agreements. it fits naturally into our contract review workflow and the time savings have been significant.

Cons

I'd still like to see more industry-specific templates and guidance soitcan better match our particular regulatory requirements and contract needs.

Everything about it is simple

Pros

I find it very decent overall. As the platform is quite user friendly and during the demo I had access to the full site. Moving a contract through the review workflow was extremely simple and quick.

Cons

To be honest I haven't run into any major problems. The only issue I'd mention is that the platform upgrade wasn't communicated very clearly. Since I was new toit, that made things a bit confusing initially. Still, after a quick email exchange and a short five-minute phone call, everything was cleared up. Their service team and really the company Overall has been incredibly responsive and very pleasant to work with.

powerful contract review workflow

Pros

Having LegalOn is like having a second set of eyes on every contract. it helps me review agreements much faster, catches risks with impressive precision and keeps my work consistent even when I am handling a large volume of contracts. One of the biggest advantages is how naturally it fits into my existing workflow. I can send documents straight into the platform through my custom email link, create matters right away and manage revisions without needing to leave Word. The Word add-in is especially valuable because it lets me save updated drafts directly into the matter management system which keeps everything organized and ready for audit purposes. Matter Management is another standout for me. it gives me clear visibility into the full contract lifecycle, allows me to track revisions and issues in one central place and provides the operational clarity I need to manage risk without getting buried in administrative work.

Cons

there's no way to merge multiple emailed documents into one matter. I often get related files across separate email threads or in different batches so having to manually combine them adds friction to what should be a more efficient intake process. A merge into existing matter feature would make a big difference.

ai redlining changed our workflow

Pros

Between a tiny two-person team and a wide mix of contracts, LegalOn has made a huge difference for us. The AI Assist tool is the standout especially how it redlines based on our own playbooks along with the standard contract types LegalOn already provides. Since we also outsource legal services, this has helped us cut down both review time and legal spend by making sure our agreements already include the core terms we expect and that we've completed a thorough review before sending anything for final legal signoff. it has really improved the review and redlining process and it gives us peace of mind that nothing important is accidentally added, missed or left out. At this point, I honestly cannot imagine working without it. Getting started was very easy basically just receiving a login and jumping in. Once you get comfortable with the Word widget, it becomes incredibly useful. The onboarding, support and training were excellent and the team has continued to be responsive whenever we've needed help. They've also proactively checked in and shared new features since we launched which I really appreciate. I use LegalOn almost every day now and it's become part of our regular workflow with the rest of the team. I'd absolutely recommend it to both large and small teams across different industries. it gives non-legal contract staff more confidence to make redlines and keep negotiations moving, while freeing up legal staff to spend their time on the more complex and higher-risk issues.

Cons

Because we're a smaller organization and don't handle a high enough contract volume, a full CLM system doesn't really make sense for us. Ifitexpanded its file management capabilities, itcould become a much stronger place to store historical revisions and final executed copies of contracts.itwould also be very helpful ifitcould link or sync with Box or OneDrive so team members could access only the final version of an agreement more easily.
