Pros
One thing Lexis Affinity does well is its wide range of features. The Records Management module is very thorough, the Bank Reconciliation module connects with a major commercial banks portal and the Investment/Controlled Money Accounts module makes calculating interest earned much easier to manage.
Cons
Getting out of the system can be very difficult especially when the Records/Safe Custody module is involved. It's also frustrating that even very small questions or requests about the data models can end up attracting hourly consulting charges.

“Very organized research results
Pros
Searching in Lexis Affinity is very easy and the results come back in a clean organized format. It made it simple to identify the person I needed and quickly pull the relevant information. The program includes plenty of features and options but for what I use it for most such as research it does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Cons
The interface is not especially attractive and at times the results columns show far too much information at once. It is also not very clear what other capabilities the program offers and it feels like there should be better outreach or communication around the product.
