Made my workflow more efficient!!

Pros

It's quite easy to use and lets me log hours as I'm actually working on tasks. My productivity has definitely improved since I can track time in real-time instead of trying to remember everything later. The customization options are a nice touch too.

Cons

The software tends to freeze up when I leave it running for several hours at a time. Another frustrating limitation is that you can't run multiple timers simultaneously. I often need to pause one project and switch to another but there's no way to do that here.

Powerful reporting

Pros

The reporting features are incredibly thorough and the analysis tools really deliver solid insights.

Cons

Sometimes it's tough to locate a specific transaction since you can't drill down from reports directly to the actual transaction.

Constant errors and bugs

Pros

Nice having everything in one place including time tracking, AP, AR and collections all integrated together.

Cons

The latest update is riddled with bugs and keeps throwing error messages at me. They completely rewrote it in a different programming language and now it doesn't work with some Windows versions.

Helpful screen popups

Pros

I appreciate how user-friendly it is when adding new contacts and employers. The screen pop-ups are really helpful, they alert me if a matter is already in use or if I've missed filling out an important field.

Cons

Doesn't allow bulk updates. If someone at an insurance company or employer leaves or goes on leave, I have to manually update each individual case file instead of being able to change them all at once.

Lets me organize billing time multiple ways

Pros

Being able to organize my billing hours in different ways is a plus. Having that flexibility really helps when I'm double-checking my entries to make sure everything's recorded correctly.

Cons

The explanations required in billing submission process is frustrating with its strict formatting requirements. You have to punctuate things exactly right or it won't accept your entry.

Simplifies account management

Pros

I really appreciate how this tool simplifies account management by handling payables, receivables, charges and expenses all in one place. When it's fully integrated across the system, everything updates automatically without having to jump between different interfaces.

Cons

It's cost was just too much for our small practice to handle. Even with our long history using LexisNexis products, we couldn't get any kind of price break because of our size. Another major issue is that the system doesn't properly handle split billing scenarios. When you have one matter that needs to be billed to multiple places, it just doesn't recognize that setup.

Crashes way too often

Pros

Filtering options are incredible. There are countless ways to organize billing entries. When you're dealing with massive amounts of data, being able to narrow things down is essential and having more filter choices makes all the difference.

Cons

The system crashes way too often and I'm constantly dealing with errors. Sometimes my entries just disappear and I have to refresh the page multiple times before they show up again which is really frustrating.

generates useful reports

Pros

I can generate tons of different reports when I need them, which gives me plenty of options for analyzing our data.

Cons

Love the timer feature

Pros

I appreciate the timer feature. It helps me stay accurate and makes sure I'm not wasting any time. Being able to stop, start and pause lets me organize my day efficiently while keeping track of exactly how productive I'm being. The ability to print daily and weekly reports for my supervisor is great too. It's not just about holding myself accountable but my boss can also see where I'm spending most of my time on different projects. I do like the summary page overall, though I have some thoughts on how it could be better.

Cons

I find it annoying that I can't set my own billing targets in the summary view. For instance, if I want to bill 4 hours on Wednesday and 4 hours on Sunday, the color coding shows red for Wednesday and white for Sunday instead of both being green to match my personal targets.

All-in-one system!!

Pros

It has everything in one place. It handles attorney time tracking, accounts payable and accounts receivable so well. The system is detailed and effective

Cons

Pretty complicated at the start. It takes quite a while to figure out how to use it properly.
