This tool is a game-changer for inventors like me. It removes the constraints of time and idea generation the only real limit now is my patent budget. Even so, it's been incredibly empowering

I honestly can not think of anything that it is missing compared to our old patent attorney firm. It's just as good, if not better.

Pros

Very easy to use which makes dealing with patent applications super easy for me. Their support is solid too so any issues that pop up are not too stressful. I also love how affordable it is for my team. Plus having everything in one place makes managing all the patent stuff so much easier. The setup was simple too since the onboarding team took care of everything for mewhich saved me a ton of time and effort.

Pros

Love this tool because of how quickly it files patents. It saves me so much time and energy. The whole process is so clear which helps me understand each step without any confusion. The way they have aligned the review and drafting process (without all those endless email exchanges) makes everything flow smoothly and boosts efficiency. The guidance through the invention disclosure process is spot on making sure I know exactly what to do. Also the disclosure experience was fantastic...I am impressed with how well they understood my patent and drafted the claims to cover all the important stuff. On top of that, the setup was smooth.... so I could get started without any issues.

Cons

I have found the review software to be a bit buggy at timeswhich can slow down the workflow and make things less efficient. Also the user interface design is not as simple as it could be which makes it a little harder to get the hang of and may affect the user experience.

Pros

I feel like both the platform and the Lightbringer team really help me stay efficient with my IP work. The process lets me describe my ideas in my own engineer's language which helps me develop them further and really understand the IP landscape I need to work with.

its still evolving...so some features are not available yet but the core functionality is great and works well.

they offer solid IP expertise and a platform that gives me full visibility into all my engagements...past, present and future. Their strategic advice helps me make informed decisions and their transparent pricing model is a big improvement over what I've dealt with before. We know exactly what to expect, both in terms of process and cost which lets us plan and prioritize with confidence.

we honestly do not have any major complaints. The overall experience has been really positive.

I really appreciate how they approach building the patent application, starting from a simple disclosure and guiding us all the way to the draft.

Sometimes it's tricky to leave comments in the drafts online. I wish there was a way to download drafts for offline review before I submit my comments.

Reviewing all the text before submitting it to the patent agency is definitely a lengthy and tedious process but I feel like that's just part of working with any IP-legal consultant.
