“Super friendly tool

Pros

this database is very user friendly! It's easy to use and when I apply the right search strings, it always pulls up super accurate results.

Cons

Sometimes... when I try to run more complex queries with lots of different synonyms, it takes forever. It'll even tell me the query is too complex. So I have learned to keep it simple and that's when I get the best results.

“best for research but pricey

Pros

I absolutely love how it gives me access to so much patented and non-patented literature. It's been super helpful for really digging deep into my research topic. Plus it has this amazing translation feature! If a patent I am looking at is in a different language like Chinese... it's a total lifesaver.

Cons

honestly... there's not much to dislike about it but the price could be a bit off-putting for some. Also if you need to export more than 1000 patent numbers, you can't do it directly...it has to be sent via email which is annoying. Plus there are times when the software gets really slow and I end up waiting forever for the results to load.

“Fast and accurate patent search

Pros

The patent database is super fast and I love how easy it is to use. Searching with keywords or classifications is also very easy and it always brings up the most relevant results right at the top.

Cons

no cons so far, I'm satisfied with this tool.
