“provides customized templates for epo work
Pros
I have been using Solve Intelligence's drafting AI for a year. As a European patent attorney, their templates and features are already customized for EPO work. Also it is very helpful for creating drafts and you can use the AI for every step of the application. I typically start by giving it the inventors description with small changes and get back a solid draft that sometimes even suggests additional angles. It understands many types of inventions, does detailed analysis and offers high-quality edits. Overall using it has cut down the time I spend on writing and editing applications and even provides extra ideas. So I'd definitely suggest it to other patent attorneys.
Cons
Because this is a brand-new tool for me and I have not tried others, I do not have any cons or suggestions for making it better.

“Customer service is great
Pros
The customer service and openness to feedback, dedication to making the product better based on user suggestions and the overall strength and design of the product. We were especially focused on patent work for life sciences and chemistry and For that this tool was one of the most capable tools we reviewed. Also the product found the perfect mix of user control and automated help so the whole experience and layout was very easy to use. We tested many similar tools and it was clearly the best. Since it works in a web browser, getting started was simple too. If you know standard office software, sequence tools and chemical drawing programs, you will find it easy to implement and use.
Cons
I am hesitant to say I disliked anything because it is a new product that's constantly being improved and getting better. Plus their team was so open to our feedback that I am sure any minor issues are being or will be fixed.

“Helpful for software and tech inventions
Pros
We used Solve Intelligence for about a month and found it to be a very helpful tool especially for software and tech-related inventions. The software is particularly good at creating detailed specifications and flowcharts from very little starting information. One amazing feature is making patent drawings using just text instructions. The automatically created process flowcharts and their descriptions are especially impressive. These features greatly cut down the time and work needed to prepare high-quality patent drafts.
Cons
We felt the software was less effective for mechanical inventions. Writing mechanical patent specs needed a lot more hands-on work. Making precise drawings, adding labels and writing figure legends took a significant amount of time. It seemed like the AI needed a better grasp of mechanical systems. However this could get better as we learn how to write better instructions for mechanical inventions.

“Incredible change for high-quality drafts
Pros
As a patent agent with almost 25 years in mechanical engineering and product development, I have trained many junior associates in my drafting style. After my last associate left, I decided to fully use SolveIntelligence's Patent Copilot instead. The change has been incredible. Instead of spending months or years training someone new, I can now rely on SI to consistently create high-quality, well-organized drafts that match my strategy and style. Also it handles the time-consuming parts like Backgrounds, Summaries and technical details, letting me focus on claims, strategy and framing the clients invention. The output is remarkably clear and better than what I'd expect from junior attorneys or what I could produce in a week or two. Overall my drafting time has dropped by 60% or more. I often create applications in under 5 hours and then polish them in the built-in editor.
Cons
There are challenges such as Learning to work with AI takes time and practice.

“changed the way i work for the better
Pros
I began using it a few months ago and it completely changed how I work. I first tried it with simple disclosures and it produced clear, easy to follow drafts sometimes better than existing patents just due to their clarity and consistency. What truly changed my workflow though is its ability to understand and collaborate on patent strategy. In every section it lets you input strategy, use templates, choose emphasis and capture all the details that define innovation. My time per patent is down about 40% and almost all my effort now goes into writing strategy, breaking down the invention, preparing figures and outlining the focus. I can input all that into this software and within 30 minutes, I am reviewing a 20k word application that clearly describes everything with figures and claims. Plus I can edit it in Word or use the AI to edit and be done in an hour or two. Even with my own claim sets, I still generate new ones for wording inspiration. Most impressively, I have yet to see an unusable claim if the strategy is set. I now use it regularly for drafts though I still edit in Word. In the two months I have been using it, I have modernized my firms backend. Overall this tool has had the biggest impact on my actual legal practice.
Cons
The issue with it is that some tasks are not always basic. For instance, if an examiner references the wrong patent, the AI will also try hard to use that wrong reference. You can work around this but you need to ask someone how and it's not obvious. Also for a patent draft, without an attorney's guidance, it will write a clear but somewhat standard application. So to get the best results, you need to put in effort to develop the strategy, choose your focus and learn how to communicate with it effectively. The only feature I do not use is the figure generation. Plus I wish it had an API so I could connect it to my firms internal systems.

“A user friendly system
Pros
Writing a full, detailed description takes up a huge part of the total time needed for a patent draft. But this tool provides a user friendly system for creating detailed descriptions efficiently. This frees up more of the available time for the things that answerwhya patent is filed which simply means i can prepare strong claims and figures. By using it, clients get the maximum value from the time spent on a draft. Plus the constant updates from the team keep improving both the output quality and time savings and they are always ready to answer questions and offer support to get the best results.
Cons
I noticed that the figure editor currently does not have as many features and tools as the text-based parts of the software.

“really improved our drafting speed
Pros
We have been extremely happy users of Solve Intelligence Patent Copilot and it has greatly improved our patent drafting speed. Before using it, our process involved a lot of time writing, reviewing and polishing applications. Since adding it to our workflow, we have seen a dramatic speed-up as we drafted materials for a provisional patent in a single day and could then send it to our legal team in language they could easily refine. Plus the tool's user-friendly interface and AI-powered suggestions have streamlined our internal processes, letting our team focus more on strategy and technical descriptions. We especially value its ability to suggest accurate and relevant patent language, cutting down on revisions and improving our overall submission quality. Overall it has become a important part of our patent work, delivering real efficiency gains and helping our team be more productive and innovative. So I Highly Recommend It!
Cons
We found the solution greatly improved our efficiency and made talking with our legal team much smoother and we have not found any negatives yet.

“Transformed how i work
Pros
How long does it take you to write a Background or a Brief Summary section? Just for helping with those parts, I'd say Patent Copilot is likely worth the cost. But it does so much more than that. It has allowed me to write patent applications with better quality in about two-thirds of the usual time. This frees me up to focus more on high-level strategy and on including details that could be useful later. Also because the software manages the specifics, I no longer need large, uninterrupted blocks of time to work on a specification and keep all my thoughts straight. If I have just 1 to 2 hours, I can quickly jump back into this tool, make solid progress and then go to a meeting. This has helped me get applications ready for my clients much faster. In short it has genuinely transformed how I work and allowed me to handle a much higher volume of cases.
Cons
Like with any new software, it takes some time to learn. However if you discover instructions that make the AI write in your preferred style, you can save those in a template for future use. Once you have built up your template collection, there is very little editing left to do.

“Miles ahead of other tools
Pros
After trying out many different AI tools for patent preparation, I finally chose Solve Intelligence. This product is miles ahead of the others I tested in both what it can do and how easy it is to use. And now it is a key part of how I draft patent applications and respond to Office Actions. I'd estimate it cuts my drafting time by 25 to 35% for applications and saves even more time on responses. Beyond the time saved, I most appreciate the higher quality of work I can now give my clients. And the team is also outstanding as they reply quickly, are always ready to help and are constantly adding new features. Overall this product has gone way beyond what I expected. I highly recommend it to anyone in patent prosecution.
Cons
Having used the product for almost two years, I have no complaints to mention.

“the best software for patent drafting
Pros
There are many fantastic aspects to this software and it is amazing to see the drafts it produces from a detailed disclosure. But my absolute favorite thing is that you can essentially use it instead of having a junior attorney draft the application. Using this software gives you more time to focus on claim drafting and strategically ensuring the disclosure covers everything needed. Also the software handles the heavy lifting of the actual writing and you can then use the AI chat to revise any sections you want. For all practical purposes, this software goes a very long way toward doing the work of a new associate attorney in the patent drafting process.
Cons
The software includes a powerful image editor for creating professional drawings but making the drawings or adding reference numbers can be a lengthy process. On the other hand, you can also upload drawings with handwritten numbers and the software can read them. And you can then send those drawings to a draftsman as you normally would.

“Expediates my productivity
Pros
It lets me produce much more work while keeping my standards high. Plus I can create a full non-provisional application at a similar quality to my usual work but saving about 60 to 80% of the time.
Cons
There is definitely a learning period and as with any AI system, the quality of your instructions directly affects the quality of the results you get. Many people do not know how to give the system effective input.

“Completely changed my practice
Pros
Solve Intelligence has completely changed my practice. Drafting tasks that used to take hours now take minutes, letting me provide more value to my clients. The in-line prompting tool is especially helpful. I have personally tested several AI platforms for patent work and I believe this tool is the best. It fits perfectly into my routine and delivers high-quality results in seconds. I definitely recommend it!
Cons
Well the Office Action response tool is not as easy to figure out as the drafting tool but I have noticed it getting better since I started using it so I expect it to continue improving over time.

“Lets you be the strategic director
Pros
It lets you, the patent attorney, act as the strategic director of the application. Like you are no longer stuck with the tedious job of writing routine technical descriptions. With it, your only role to make the strategic decisions and guide the tool that is it. The tool do it all for you within no time. Which means the days of manually drafting applications are over. Overall the platform is incredibly powerful and it is constantly being developed with powerful new features being added all the time. So lastly the question is notshouldyou use this tool but it iswhy are not you using it yet?
Cons
There is only one small thing that is no dark mode option available. But it is only January so there is still plenty of time to add it.

“Tripled my drafting and review speed
Pros
Solve has tripled my speed for drafting and reviewing patent applications. Because of this, I can now take on more client work while still delivering excellent quality. Overall it's been a total game-changer for me and the whole patent team at Panoramix. Also their team is incredibly responsive and has a great onboarding program that includes the developers themselves. In the roughly 12 months I have used the tool, they have already taken my personal feedback and implemented suggestions extremely fast for me and their other users. It really feels like the team is dedicated to giving me the best possible service and so far they have delivered beyond expectations.
Cons
Almost nothing. If I had to give some helpful feedback, it would be about the frequency of updates which can sometimes be hard to keep up with but I am really nitpicking to find anything I dislike about it.
