When it comes to creating legal documents for a website, this worked really well for me. I'm not using it anymore but I would still recommend it based on my experience.

Termly is pretty easy to use thanks to its user-friendly interface. Moving through the different features was simple even without being especially tech-savvy. The compliance templates were a big help and saved me a lot of time when putting together policies. On top of that the customer support team was quick to respond and gave clear, useful answers whenever I needed help.

Cons

The platform has strong features but the cost may feel a little steep for smaller businesses. Also some of the more advanced tools come with a bit of a learning curve so it would be helpful if there were more tutorials or guides to make those features easier to pick up.

I like that Termly has a really user-friendly interface which made creating, managing and updating policies like privacy policies, terms of service and cookie policies easier for us. Even without deep legal knowledge, we were able to get compliant documents set up quickly and embed them on our website without much trouble. The policy generators are thorough and simple to work with, offering customizable templates that fit different industries or departments. Because of that it ended up saving us both time and money. One of the strongest parts of this tool is the cookie consent manager which helps with compliance by offering a customizable cookie banner, automatic website scans for cookies and regular updates to its cookie database.

Cons

The policy generators are detailed but customization can feel a bit limited for businesses with very specific needs. It would be better to have more advanced options for tailoring policies to unique situations. And though the free plan works well for basic compliance but larger organizations that need features like multi-language support or deeper analytics will have to pay. That pricing can be tough for some mid-sized companies. Also the cookie scanner works well overall but sometimes it misses certain cookies or puts them in the wrong category so some manual fixes are still needed. Better accuracy and more detailed scanning would make the tool more reliable.

Running a business is a lot safer with this software because it helps protect both your company and your customers information. Also it guides us through creating a customized policy that covers the key requirements including GDPR and CCPA. Also there are plenty of user-friendly features and the free trial is a nice bonus. We can even create one template for our small business at no cost.

Cons

It works really well for general contracts and standard compliance needs but I would say it may not be the best fit if your business has very niche practices. And yes its templates are thorough though companies with highly specialized legal requirements or those in niche industries could find them somewhat restrictive. In those situations having a lawyer draft the documents may be the better option.

Termly has been a huge help in setting up a consent banner for my booking website. Plus it scans the site to detect which cookies are being used, lets you add a banner easily and helps create privacy policies, cookie policies and terms and conditions in several languages.

It is very user-friendly. Getting around the platform is simple and it doesn't take much effort to find what I need. Also it is updated regularly which helps keep the policy features current. The ready made templates make creating legal policies much more manageable.

Limited customization makes it harder to adjust policies exactly the way I need. On top of that customization seems slower than I expected and whenever I run into an issue, the response time is slow too which ends up delaying my work.

Getting privacy compliance sorted out with Termly takes a lot of pressure off. All I really have to do is enter my information and it handles the hard parts from there. I am genuinely glad I came across this site.

The interface works fine overall but it could be more beginner-friendly since figuring out all the features and understanding how to use them fully may take some trial and error.

Overall the whole setup was very easy to use which was a huge relief since this kind of process can get pretty complicated. It really takes a lot of the stress out of handling a complex compliance issue and makes deployment simple.

Cons

Only real downside I have noticed is that the WordPress plugins for the consent banners don't seem to offer much room for customization. Aside from that the product is well designed and has been very useful overall.
