the analytics features are great but it would be awesome if there were more customization options to fit specific industry needs.

honestly�. nothing major stands out as an issue. The tool's well thought out and it gets better with every update. If I had to nitpick, I'd say theres a difficulty at first but once you get the hang of it...it feels natural.

The Idea Capture Tool is especially great, it lets team members submit ideas without needing to know much about IP.

there's very little to complain about, team is really responsive to feedback and the platform gets better with every update.

Customization for unique workflows could be stronger. Some of the more advanced users might find the reporting and analytics limited especially in large, data-heavy organizations. While it can integrate with existing legacy systems, the sync is not as deep or automated as some other enterprise platforms. Also setting up user permissions can be tricky.

tool's already pretty effective but separate admin and manager roles would make user management even better especially for teams that need more detailed access control. That said, the current setup does allow for workarounds.

Its real time collaboration feature is also a huge plus.

It's a little buggy at times but I am hopeful that with continued development, it'll get even better. its definitely a good option especially since docketing software can be expensive and have a ton of features you dont really need as an innovation manager.

TIP gives me a platform to manage all my clients' patentable ideas in one place. It's so easy to access and share ideas which is the first step toward getting a patent. I can also tag ideas by client, technology or invention type making it easier to sort through them. it has made evaluating ideas for potential patents so much easier and it automatically updates me on the status of patent applications.

I can't think of anything I dislike about it. It makes it so easy for me to guide my clients through the patent process and helps my corporate clients get more invention disclosures from their employees.

Pros

I found this product very helpful for the list of ideas I had. I used to manage them through emails and then moved to Excel but once my Excel file got corrupted, it took me forever to recover my ideas (thankfully, I did eventually!). The tool is so easy to use and understand even though I don't have a patent background. There are 4 workflow processes but I used them according to how we work in my company. My manager liked the tool too and we might adopt it across the company even though we're not that big.

Cons

One thing I'd like to see added is separate admin and manager roles. Right now.. I can restrict who gets manager access but having these two roles distinct would definitely make it more useful.
