So many errors and no support

Pros

This software has been awful to use. Support is basically nonexistent and I keep running into errors where the system never explains what information is missing. That means I have to dig through every detail myself and guess what needs to be fixed. It's not user friendly at all and it ends up wasting a lot of time.

Cons

Whenever I call for help, it feels like they just say whatever will calm me down instead of actually solving the problem. They seem fully aware that the system has serious issues but the response comes off as dismissive rather than helpful.

Offer the best remote support

Pros

Working with Trimble's customer service team has been a really positive experience as they're approachable, responsive and simple to deal with. It's also a big plus that everything can be handled remotely which makes the whole process much more convenient.

Cons

One concern is the cost of Support and Maintenance which feels pretty expensive. It often seems like anything extra we need gets billed separately and it's not always clear what is actually included in that coverage.

Powerful tools for trucking

Pros

There are plenty of applications built for the trucking industry and it also keeps a large amount of data stored internally which is really useful for reporting and analysis.

Cons

The documentation is limited or sometimes out of date and there are cases where getting support means paying for professional services.

Got great support from veterans

Pros

Reliable customer service has been one of the biggest strengths here. With an enterprise management system, having a support team that actually listens and responds to our needs is essential. It has people with long careers at the company and that experience really shows in the quality of support they provide. When evaluating a TMS, that level of expertise makes a major difference.

Cons

Because it has brought multiple organizations together through acquisitions over the years, coordinating projects can sometimes get complicated when support is needed from several different divisions.

user-friendly and clear layout

Pros

The interface is very user friendly and everything is large enough to see clearly. It's simple to navigate and use.

Cons

It does time out from time to time but that usually only happens around once a day.

Trimble Contract Management is user friendly and whenever questions come up, the support team is incredibly helpful and patient. There's always someone available on call and they respond right away with kindness, understanding and real assistance.

Great fit for transportation O2C

Pros

At its core it handles the basic Order to Cash needs for the transportation industry well and covers the essentials it's supposed to.

Cons

The downside is that the platform doesn't seem to be evolving with newer technology. There's no real support for automation, RPA, machine learning or AI and it's slow to adopt open APIs that would make advanced integrations easier and API management more native. EDI is also difficult to deal with and it falls short when it comes to modern real-time tools like mobile driver apps and document management.

reliable tracking and simple workflow

Pros

The setup process is easy to work with and it does a great job of keeping up with everything that needs to be tracked.

Cons

Getting signed in can be a hassle at times. It also drops out now and then while on the road and the alert for a Load Offer is not loud enough. If you're asleep, it's pretty easy to miss.

Provide no real support

Pros

At least when you call, a real person picks up the phone which is the only thing I like about it.

Cons

The equipment has been useless. It barely runs or works and support never seems to have any answers or actual solutions.

frustrating workflow and broken reports

Pros

The support team is actually pretty amazing which is more than I can say for the rest of the product.

Cons

If you enjoy opening window after window just to finish a single task, this software will fit right in. When you make a mistake, it wipes out what you entered instead of letting you go back and fix it so you have to type everything in again. My biggest issue is the month-end report. The development team has supposedly been working on it all year and here we are in August without a correct version. That report is essential for our organization so this has been a major problem.

Reliable across every platform

Pros

Using Trimble Contract Management has been very easy. As it's user friendly, works really well across multiple platforms, doesn't glitch and gets updated often so it consistently feels reliable.

Cons

There are times when the workarounds and add-ons can be a bit frustrating but with proper training, it becomes much easier to use.

Easy to use every day

Pros

Its interface is really user friendly and simple to work with. I haven't run into bugs or glitches and TMW handles everything I need to get my work done.

Cons

At this point, I really don't have any improvements to suggest. As it has been dependable throughout the 3+ years I have been using it.

quick order lookup and copying

Pros

Being able to quickly search past orders and duplicate existing ones in TMW really helps cut down on paperwork and saves time.

Cons

At times, it works a bit slow or glitchy though it usually only happens right when the system is first opening.

Excellent safety tracking tool

Pros

Navigation is very easy and the whole system is simple to work with. I ran into very few issues while using it and it also makes tracking safety-related items really convenient.

Cons

Honestly it's a top class system. I used it for two years at my previous company and still recommend it to others in the industry.

powerful SQL customization

Pros

Being SQL-driven gives it a lot of flexibility and it can be customized extensively to export data into a variety of other programs.

Cons

A good portion of the customization still needs to be handled by the tech support. Also some areas are still being developed even though we were charged full price.
