Right away, the software gives a clear overview and feels very simple to use, even for people without an IT background. Accessing it is simple and uploading data is just as uncomplicated.

Most of my work is in Dutch, while the ZyLAB software itself is in English.

It handles the time-consuming document review process really well and ends up saving a lot of time, effort and money.

Uploading data is simple enough to handle yourself and the analytics and search capabilities are very powerful. It works really well for investigations, plus the automatic redaction and GDPR compliance features are genuinely useful. Support has been fantastic and the platform keeps improving with new features at a fast pace.

Honestly, there isn't anything missing for us because it covers all the features we need. At first, the number of options can feel a bit overwhelming but the training sessions are very helpful and give you everything needed to get comfortable with the system.

Anyone who has basic experience using a search engine will pick it up pretty naturally since the platform feels very user-friendly. The product support is also amazing, with clear and prompt replies that usually arrive within a day.

Cons

Getting the most out of the more advanced features does take some learning and training. That said, ZyLAB offers those courses so it never turned into a major problem.

Reviewing every legal document manually can take an incredible amount of time so having machine learning built into it makes a real difference. It helps me move through large volumes of legal documents much more efficiently and effectively which ends up saving me a lot of time.

Cons

Even though the software is user-friendly, there was definitely a bit of an adjustment period at the start while I was getting familiar with it. That said, the training is very useful and walks you through everything step by step, making it much easier to understand the platform and use it the right way. With some practice, it really starts to click.
