“helpful adaptive learning

Pros

The adaptive learning approach was very helpful for me. I could review math problems as much as I needed and only move on when I actually understood the material. It focuses on my weak spots which is pretty cool.

Cons

Some topics have confusing explanations and when I ask for a different one, it somehow makes things even harder to understand. The explanation system definitely needs work. If they added tutorial videos with step-by-step demos, this could easily be the top math software. They really need to fix this.

It has been really thorough for me. When it's properly integrated into coursework, it actually makes studying math a lot less stressful and complicated.

Cons

The interface could use some improvements. While it works fine for math content, the way problems are laid out gets kind of boring and repetitive after a while.

Pros

I love how this tool tackles a lot of learning challenges all at once. It identifies and fixes knowledge gaps from previous courses, which has been a game-changer for my students. It speeds up learning and actually reduces cheating since the students are more focused on the material. The dual-language feature is amazing for my English learners because they can easily switch between languages. Plus, the interactive dictionary with visuals and video examples helps everyone understand things better. The best part is the mixed review sessions that really help with long-term retention. It's like eating one apple a day rather than trying to eat a whole basket of fruit and forgetting about it the next day. This approach really sticks.

Cons

for me, the biggest downside is the price. Getting administrators to approve the budget can be tough. Also, the subject coverage is limited compared to other platforms. It only covers Pre Algebra through Calculus, plus some basic Chemistry and Physics within the math and chemistry modules.

“Frustrating & poorly designed!

Honestly, I can't say much good about this software. It's been one of the most frustrating programs I've ever used.

Cons

The questions feel completely unrealistic compared to what professors actually test, making it feel like a waste of time. There are so many bugs and if you enter a number or fraction in the "wrong" notation (even when it's mathematically correct), it marks it wrong. Very frustrating when each problem takes 15-30 minutes to solve. Also, the inactivity timer doesn't apply to the E-text, so if you're reading from the textbook instead of doing problems directly in the software, it kicks you out with a white screen. It's like someone closing your textbook while you're studying at the library, ridiculous when you're trying to learn new concepts. The whole platform is garbage and I wouldn't recommend it if there are other options.

“Disappointing with major issues

Pros

I appreciate how simple the setup is. The instructional videos are great for introducing new topics. They give just the right amount of info to get you started without being overwhelming. The videos are useful but I still find the math textbook confusing sometimes which sends me to Khan Academy for extra help. Overall though, the video content is very useful for learning.

Cons

I dont like when the video player kicks me out even when I'm actively using it. I'll pause to take notes and it logs me out, leaving all the buttons greyed out when I try to continue. I have to exit and restart just to find my video again. Even worse, it marks videos as unwatched after logging me out, so I might have to rewatch everything if my grade depends on completion tracking. I don't have time to deal with technical support while math assignments are piling up. It's so frustrating because I actually like this platform more than others and the pie chart feature for targeting weak areas looks useful but I just can't use it with my course load.

“Not a great experience, to be honest

Pros

to be honest, I feel like I can't find anything positive to say about this tool. It's been totally unhelpful for my learning goals and feels more like a punishment system than an educational tool. It's been frustrating from start to finish and I haven't learned anything valuable from using it.

Cons

There's really nothing positive I can say. Everything about this platform frustrates me and I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I like that it gives me extra test attempts when needed. It's definitely a helpful feature.

Cons

UI is very frustrating. I'm honestly struggling with my coursework because of it. Tasks take way too long, and the whole process feels unnecessarily complicated which is really affecting my academic performance.

“Absolutely terrible experience

Pros

I have to say, it has given me a new perspective. I used to get annoyed by crowded commutes or small issues but now I think, "At least I'm not dealing with this software right now!" It's made me strangely grateful for simpler problems.

Cons

The issues are endless. It's completely broken. It's caused me so much frustration that I can't even sleep properly anymore. There are constant problems that never get fixed and the whole experience has been awful.
