Because it includes so many features for interactive and engaging employee training getting started can feel a bit overwhelming at times. The gamification is very strong overall but for employees who are new to this kind of system it can be a little too much at first. There is definitely some difficulty at the start especially when working with other integrated programs and it may take some time before everything is set up exactly the way you want. Other than that the reporting tools are only moderately capable which can make filtering and displaying data more difficult than it should be.

One part of it I've liked the least is how much time and effort the initial setup and configuration can take when trying to match the specific needs of a business. While the platform is flexible the customization process was not as simple as we originally expected and required more support than anticipated. After more than a year of working with it and helping roll out a brand new narrative I can say the customer and technical support throughout the process has been excellent. I wasn't involved in the original gameON onboarding but from what I've seen the setup was quick, well informed, targeted and customized to suit the needs of the business. The platform is easy for staff to use and the wide range of features strikes a really nice balance between work, rewards and recognition. We've seen a major lift in engagement, recognition and overall success because of the targeted way we now embed and track KPIs. We've also made use of several of their products to give employees more ownership over their training, development and upskilling. Leaders have appreciated how naturally coaching opportunities can be built into the platform through specific missions and our onboarding managers have been actively using evaluations during probation periods as well.

There honestly isn't much to complain about. If anything I'd just like to see them expand the product offering when it comes to simulations.
