This tool surprises me

Pros

It still surprises me how quickly entire environments can be duplicated with only a few clicks. The real-time collaboration is excellent too as several people can work on and edit everything at the same time without interruptions or glitches. On top of that the security is very good.

Cons

The mobile app, though, doesn't seem very useful in its current state. It really needs a much better interface or possibly a full redesign, to make it worthwhile.

Good tool!

Pros

Creating the blueprints which are the images used to deliver the course is very easy. They can also be updated in no time, so it's simple to keep the course current without having to rebuild the environments every single time.

Cons

I haven't run into many issues, although performance does dip a bit at certain times of the day and could definitely be better then.

support is amazing

Pros

CloudShare makes technical support much more efficient with its fast cloning features and full visibility into user sessions. That makes it possible to diagnose problems right away and fix errors without delay.

Cons

One downside is the noticeable lag when opening large files which takes away from the speed and overall fluidity of the experience.

fast to setup

Pros

I find it pretty easy to use and it's been a really useful tool overall. Plus it was simple to implement and didn't take much effort to integrate into our workflow.

Cons

Honestly I haven't run into any issues with it so far.

replicated environments that just work

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how consistent the environments are. The client can jump into an exact copy of my setup and everything works properly right from the first try. The interface is also very user friendly, so the focus stays on the demo instead of getting lost in the tool itself.

Cons

The upfront cost is a little steep for smaller projects and a more flexible pricing structure would definitely be welcome. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints.

stable and fluid platform

Pros

I really like that you do not need to be a cloud expert to get the environment set up. Beyond that, the platform has been very stable and daily use is not a hassle.

Cons

Its cost is its biggest downside. As it is definitely on the expensive side and that's really my only complaint.

Reliable software

Pros

Cloning environments with CloudShare has been very easy. I can build out a fairly complex technical setup and duplicate it for several people at once without seeing any compatibility issues which saves a lot of time and hassle.

Cons

The interface does feel a little dated and when the internet connection slows down, the lag is definitely noticeable. A strong, stable connection is pretty important if you want everything to stay responsive.

flexible but works slow

Pros

Using CloudShare is pretty easy and the online documentation and support materials are helpful when getting started. It also feels flexible enough to adapt to different needs which makes it practical to work with.

Cons

At times the platform can be a bit slow which gets frustrating during regular use. Troubleshooting is also not very clear and it can be hard to know what steps to take when something goes wrong.

reliable sharing platform

Pros

CloudShare has been a very stable platform and it makes it incredibly simple to share environments with external clients. The interface is clean and user friendly and the performance has been amazing up to this point.

Cons

There are times when the system seems a bit confusing to work with and the pricing seems excessively high for what it offers.

Easy to setup software

Pros

The part I like most is how dependable it is when pausing and resuming environments as it's reassuring to see the configurations remain intact and not fall apart during that process.

Cons

The initial learning curve can be a bit steep especially for anyone who doesn't come from a strongly technical background.

Pretty perfect tool

Pros

Getting even a fairly complex network up and running doesn't take much effort with CloudShare. It also gives me the ability to simulate networks that connect with local components and overall the platform feels very user friendly.

Cons

No cons to share at this point!

Software is easy to use

Pros

The software is very user friendly, so students can jump in without spending much time figuring out how the platform works. The document-sharing tools and the ability to track students' progress are especially valuable and they make the workshop experience much more manageable for everyone.

Cons

Communication gets a little unclear and some parts can be a bit slow to load.

fantastic for demo environments

Pros

CloudShare has been a really great option for running my demo environments. After we turn our infrastructure into a template, sharing it with the rest of the team is easy and gives us consistent, repeatable results every time. The auto-sleep and auto-delete settings are especially valuable. After spending a lot of time walking a customer through the product, the last thing I want to deal with is manually shutting everything down. Plus it takes care of that with configurable sleep and deletion timing. That has helped my team keep costs under control compared with other cloud providers that don't include this kind of feature and end up charging for systems sitting idle.

Cons

The environment can take a while to start up. Because of that I usually launch it about 20 minutes before a demo. That may be partly due to how large the infrastructure is that we're deploying all at once, so it might not be entirely an issue with the tool itself.

quick deployment without the hassle

Pros

One of the biggest benefits for me is not having to deal with complex infrastructure setup. It lets me get IT environments deployed within minutes which saves a lot of time and effort.

Cons

At the beginning it can feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many options available in the tool.

Simple controls and efficient management

Pros

The interface is user friendly and the user management is well managed. It gives you complete control over how resources are used while still keeping the system running well.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is a bit of lingering latency when working with large graphic files, so the workflow can feel slightly slow from time to time.

flexible access with great security

Pros

Having cloud based access has been a big advantage especially because it gives us more flexibility in how and where we work. The sandboxing feature is also a real plus, since it helps protect our critical data while we're running tests and going through audits.

Cons

As soon we start working with very large amounts of data, the system tends to slow down noticeably. That drop in performance can create serious bottlenecks particularly when we're trying to get through time sensitive accounting closes.

Another way of working

Pros

What I like about this software is its simplicity and the fact that it's much friendlier than it initially appears. The addition of videoconferencing is a significant advantage.

Cons

There were frequent connection problems, although they have been reduced lately.

The best virtual classroom solution.

Pros

The overall speed and ease of creating virtual machines, taking snapshots, and configuring virtual classrooms are truly outstanding.

Cons

I wish the virtual classroom had the option to call a phone number for audio purposes. However, we found success using a third-party solution for audio. If computer audio suffices, Cloudshare's audio solution for the virtual classroom is great. They have consistently improved the video/webcam and audio tools.
