“Great compliance tracking

Pros

Its record-tracking and completion features work well and do a good job of maintaining compliance records and related documentation.

Cons

The platform is very user-unfriendly and it doesn't use AI at all to stay up to date or deliver more personalized learning experiences for users.

“Amazing for training for large companies

Pros

It's incredible how well this system manages training for large companies. I can generate all kinds of reports and track every aspect of the training process.

Cons

There isn't much that I dislike. I just wish the process of generating reports was more intuitive and less complicated.

“outdated and shallow training

Pros

At least it was available through a web browser which was probably the only real advantage.

Cons

It felt dated and superficial, with more attention given to checking labels than making sure people actually understood the material.

“user friendly learner portal

As a learner I find ComplianceWire very easy to use. Also finding the courses I needed and getting started with them was simple and the whole learner side is very user friendly too.

Cons

Switching over to the trainer role is where it gets a lot more confusing. The trainer side is more complicated and overall the learner portal works much better than the trainer portal.

“good for fast searches

Pros

Keeping up with training is really stress free and easy with this and the system is very user friendly. It also has a clean, polished look. I use it a lot to find documents through the catalog and searching by keywords is much simpler than any other search tool I have at work.

Cons

Once in a while, it does have minor glitches. Still, it works reliably almost all the time and is so simple to use that the occasional hiccup is not a big deal.

“outdated platform, awful support

The reporting tools worked well and the email reminder feature was useful.

Customer service is a complete nightmare. The initial setup and training were handled by people who clearly didn't know what they were doing and we ended up having to redo everything because of how poor the guidance was. The upload size limit is ridiculous. On top of that if you want the software to do much of anything, you have to pay thousands of dollars for extra modules. The per-user price may look low at first but since licenses cannot be reused for replacement staff, any turnover ends up costing double. This software is like something that stopped evolving 20 years ago.

“navigation is decent, LMS limits hurt

This tool is very user friendly and it didn't take much time to understand the details of general assignments and the admin-side tasks.

Cons

A 200MB upload cap for SCORM courses is something I have never come across in any LMS and it's by far the lowest limit I have seen in the industry. Because of that, we have not been able to use their LMS at all since it won't accept standard-sized SCORM files from our vendor which can run over 600MB each. On top of that their AICC relayer had major trouble connecting with my vendor's AICC content which meant we couldn't verify courses through eSignature and that piece is essential for us. Overall, this LMS has been a very poor experience.

“all training in one place

Pros

Having all my training courses in one platform has been great. The system keeps trainings separated by company which makes everything much more organized. The interface is also easy to use, with links that are simple to find. It also integrates with AD and single sign-on so I don't have to keep entering my username and password. On top of that the email alerts for newly assigned trainings and ones about to expire are very helpful.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the completed training history. Since it isn't paginated, you either have to apply very specific filters or scroll through a long list of records especially if you've completed a lot of training over time.
