“Secure testing with responsive support
Pros
For me, DigitExam works as a great solution because it provides a secure testing space that runs on any device. It's easy to use and the support team is proactive. They listen to my feedback and keep improving the product which makes me trust it more.
Cons
I found that it doesn't fully integrate with Blackbaud, though that's on the roadmap. The challenge mostly lies with Blackbaud not fully supporting LTI 1.3 yet. Managing accessibility resources for students can also be tricky since any teacher can toggle the setting which affects others.

“Flexible tool for diverse testing needs
Pros
As a teacher, I see it as a tool that meets many teaching styles and testing needs. It gives me flexibility to run exams in ways that work for my students.
Cons
It would be much better for me, if pictures could be added to multiple choice answers.

“Helpful Features for Students
Pros
Digiexam feels very simple and the Lock Down feature is a favorite of mine. I like how many options I have for creating exams and how much information I get about my students afterward. Changing assessments to fit student needs is simple and the Immersive Reader has been a big help for dyslexic students in my classes. Grading and sharing exams is easy for me too.
Cons
I think it would help a lot if this tool automatically renumbered questions based on their order in the test. Right now, moving questions around or importing them from other tests can be confusing for me. It also lacks a percentage correct scoring option. The printable tests aren't very practical, so I often need to copy and paste questions into another tool. I also wish matching type questions were available.

“Great for School Use
Pros
Creating accounts and distributing exams is very for me now. Grading feels simple and I rely on the passback feature often. I also appreciate being able to adjust settings for students who need extra time or tools like spell check.
Cons
For me commenting on essays works but the system makes it a bit difficult to read comments clearly and in order.

“Seamless Integration and Device Control
Pros
What impressed me first was how well this tool locked down all student devices in a one to one environment. Then I saw how easy it was to provide accessibility tools. The first rollout with about 100 students worked perfectly and I quickly integrated it into our LMS. Teachers, including myself, started using it right away. At every stage, DigiExam has worked well for me.
Cons
One limitation I've noticed is that questions can't have Part A and Part B. When multiple questions rely on the same prompt, they can't appear together on the same page. There is a workaround by duplicating the prompt but it's not ideal. On the positive side, the development team has already added this to their roadmap after feedback which shows their commitment.

“Simple and well-integrated with Skolon
Pros
For me, the tool is easy to use and I like that it has a built in lock down mode along with smooth integration with Skolon.
Cons
The variety of question types is still limited and I think it would be great to have a national or global community space for collaboration and sharing.

“Extraordinary Remote Exam Option
Pros
Taking exams with this software feels reliable since I can run it on both Mac OS and Windows. Once it's installed, it takes over computer resources so I stay focused on the test. I also value the way it monitors the process and produces data that makes the evaluation more credible.
Cons
I noticed this tool requires stable internet connectivity to avoid disruptions during exams. While it works well on Windows and Mac, I think it would be useful to also have the option to use it on a virtual machine. At least our administrators can step in to unlock exams if connectivity issues occur.

“Quick to Learn Tool
Pros
What I find useful is that the computer locks itself from other activities while I'm in the program. It's simple, easy to understand and quick for me to learn.
Cons
It's a drawback for me that grading cannot begin until the entire test is finished. Some users also feel the platform could be better organized to make navigation more simple.

Pros
For my use, it's very easy to handle and reliable in daily tasks and I also appreciate the quick support that always comes through whenever I need help, making the whole experience smooth and reassuring.
Cons
So far, I don't have anything negative to mention since the core functions work as expected.

“Useful for our School
Pros
Sharing exams with my colleagues is simple for me and I like that the computers lock during tests but still let me allow internet access if needed. The self correcting multiple choice questions give students instant feedback which makes the process smoother for all of us.
Cons
I think correcting a large number of tests requires many repetitive hand movements. More shortcuts for navigating between questions would make the assessment process much faster and less tiring.

“Approved by our Students
Pros
The flexibility I gained through online testing did not just help me continue during the pandemic, it also gave my students a better exam experience.
Cons
We are often asked about having more question types like hot spot or variable based questions. While most scenarios can still be built with some effort, having these additional options would make the process much smoother and open up more possibilities.

“Has extensive features and works as expected
Pros
For me, the live proctoring feature stands out the most because it lets teachers proctor on their own. The support feels unmatched and I always feel that my needs are heard and taken seriously which makes me feel valued.
Cons
The quiz engine works but could definitely offer more functions. We are able to create our exams but if there were more question types, we could expand to new subjects and areas within our institution more effectively.

“Quick Customer Service
Pros
Writing papers and assigning marking feels simple for me. The proctoring works well and the customer service responds quickly whenever I need help.
Cons
Formula based exams, especially in subjects like Math and Physics, remain challenging for us. It's reassuring to know that DigiExam is already working on solutions but for now, it still requires extra effort for us to manage.

“Helpful USB Backup
Pros
It's easy for me to use and I like that the computer locks down completely. If I face any network issue, the option to use USB backup is really helpful.
Cons
Some users of our company initially had issues creating their accounts but I think those problems were mostly user related rather than system related. The support team was very helpful in resolving them quickly.

“Easy tool but i faced some integration issues
Pros
Using it feels easy both as a teacher and as a student. It works exactly as we expected and since we use a lot of digital ink in our courses, I appreciate how well DigiExam supports that.
Cons
There are a few technical challenges such as the lockdown function stopping OneDrive sync which forces our users to reboot after exams. We couldn't get Azure authentication to work and the tool doesn't connect with existing test banks from textbook publishers which means we can't import them easily. On Windows, the student software is profile based rather than machine based, so whenever a different student logs into the same laptop, the software has to be reinstalled. For math exams, it's also hard for students to show their work since they constantly have to scroll up and down between the problem and the answer box when writing multi step solutions.

“Allows fast grading but has limited features
Pros
The software feels easy and user friendly to me. Grading multiple choice questions is fast, the timing is tracked automatically and I have access to different question formats.
Cons
Students are sometimes required to insert a USB to submit their assessment which feels outdated to me. I think adding extra time manually is not always possible when a student gets locked out and that can create stress. Grading essay or writing sections is also very time consuming, though I personally manage by using a color code to mark mistakes. It would be much more efficient if rearranging questions was easier, since right now it can take a lot of time.

“Math Equation Handling Needs Work
Pros
What I like most is the lock out feature because it gives me more control during exams and makes the process more secure and organized, which adds real value when managing test environments.
Cons
For me typing equations for math tests is not easy. At the moment, I have to screenshot equations and paste them in which makes editing later on quite inconvenient and time consuming.

“Its Beneficial for us
Pros
For me, the deployment is very simple, the interface is easy to use without complications and I always receive quick and high quality support that makes the overall experience smooth and reliable.
Cons
It would be really helpful for me if exams could be sorted by instructor and if managing student accounts was simpler. With many users, handling the system can get confusing.

“Effective for diverse learning needs
Pros
The automatic accommodations, such as extra time or reader support, help me give fair assessments to all students. They make it much easier for me to meet different learning needs and ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to succeed.
Cons
I think predictive text, a French spell checker and a French dictionary are features that would be very useful. It would improve accessibility for French speaking students.

“Allowed customisation for German testing needs
Pros
With DigiExam's more than 10 years of online testing experience, I find it reliable for all types of exams, even high stakes ones. After some customization, it now complies with German education laws and I value that it is continuously updated to keep pace with modern learning environments.
Cons
The overall design still feels like it needs some polishing, though we've been told improvements are on the way. A cleaner design would definitely increase the user experience.
