Easy course builder but weak video and tricky setup

Pros

Building courses within the application is quick and easy. I can add courses, quizzes and games without any issue and I appreciate being able to customize the homepage to match business needs. The modern look and ability to integrate with other applications make it even more useful.

Cons

The integrated open-source Big Blue Button API doesn't perform as well as mature tools like Zoom or GoToMeeting and needs more internet resources which affects video and recording quality during live sessions. On the admin side, adding new students with multiple profiles can be frustrating at first, though it becomes easier once you figure it out.

Exciting mobile updates but core upgrades overdue

Pros

I am very excited about the new mobile version and its improved features. The testing facilities also stand out as excellent which adds to my confidence in using it.

Cons

In my experience, software core upgrades have been missing for quite some time.

Flexible content creation but front-end not simple

Pros

So far, I have full capability to use video or SCORM programs which gives me flexibility in designing my training content.

Cons

The front end isn't really user-friendly for people who want to find courses, pay and register. It works better for corporate clients. We still have to manually enroll users which takes up time and limits our ability to market to the public.

Easy online learning yet some lackings

Pros

This software is somewhat easy to use. Many of my students were new to online learning, yet they managed to complete their training with ease. I receive positive feedback from them about access and continuity. As an instructor, I also find the grade book practical and simple to manage.

Cons

I noticed that the system doesn't work smoothly with browsers like Safari or Edge. Students also face issues with only scores that do not record consistently when using phones or tablets. From an instructor's side, there are too many clicks needed to get around the system. For example, just reaching a course gradebook requires multiple steps if your session has expired.

Practical and Affordable Tool

Pros

EasyCampus lets me stay connected with my colleagues and students and I like how communication and content creation are easy. It is also affordable which is a big plus when starting a business.

Cons

I also think it lacks some easy communication integrations specially like Skype.

Good team but confusing training & launch glitches

Pros

The sales team, especially Todd Harris and the Professional Services team, particularly Carla Conley, were amazing and supportive during our busy ramp-up period. We met our deadline thanks to their dedication and Steve Nyland from Tech Support always helped us with urgency and clarity.

Cons

When the implementation ended, I received a training session that was hard to follow, partly because I was tired and partly because I wasn't familiar with the subject. I wish I could do it again. Launching with 120 users at once also caused login errors and evaluation issues. Since it was all happening within a short 72-hour window, the ticket process wasn't an option. I would have appreciated direct support during that time.

Nice support but needs content tools

Pros

I find the support team great, responsive and helpful. Knowing other LMSs made it easy for me to get started with Educadium. The trial period helped me test if it was the right fit and the pricing works well for a startup like mine, even though the jump in plans feels big. My clients haven't reported any problems and I also enjoy the live Campus review sessions with people.

Cons

I find the documentation quite limited. The Campus Questions section has very little and the full guide feels confusing. I need better ways for students to display work, using forums works but feels basic and the wiki is tough too. A central repository for reusable items like handouts and videos would also be really helpful. It would also make a difference to have beginner webinars with live instructors to show best practices, since learning everything alone can be time-consuming.

Smooth launching

Pros

I've been very impressed with the system. It works great. When we launched the first phase, we had zero system issues and the support team was very responsive. I couldn't be happier with how smooth the launch went.

Cons

The system itself is large and detailed. That isn't necessarily bad but it does mean it takes time to learn. New admins especially need to spend time setting things up well before launch to avoid confusion later.

Incredibly Useful tutorials

Pros

Educadium's tutorials and templates made setting up my campus fast and easy. I appreciated the step by step instructions and the responsive help team. Having a company branded campus helped my clients feel comfortable right away.

Cons

I don't really have any major issues but I feel I need more time to build and market courses across different subjects like HR management and leadership.

Simple templates for courses

Pros

I like the simplicity of the templates for creating courses. The HTML boxes make it easy to add text, graphics and videos. Profile pages for both students and teachers are useful and I can easily bring in activities and resources to each page. Blogs and tagging keep the community updated and customer service has been outstanding.

Cons

Well I would like to have the option to change the appearance as an admin, such as background color, link color and text color. I enjoy the navigation with tabs on course pages but I wish the same tab style could be added to the main page too.
