responsive support and helpful team

Pros

Working with Cadmium has been a really positive experience. From my account rep to the team that helps with streaming events and technical support, everyone is responsive, detailed and quick to assist whenever needed.

Cons

The design options were a bit limited before but they've recently introduced new features that I am looking forward to trying out.

outstanding support offered

Pros

From implementation through everyday questions, the customer service has been the best I have dealt with. Technical inquiries get answered incredibly fast. The UX is user friendly so as an admin it's simple to build new courses and manage products. The content management tools are powerful as well, making it easy to create new site pages with plenty of widgets to choose from. I also like being able to customize the site design and the explainers and documentation are genuinely helpful. The AMS integration is another big plus.

Cons

One downside is that LTI compliance has been slow to arrive. From the learner side the course interface can feel a little confusing and the different components don't always seem well connected. Social learning features are also somewhat limited.

Not what I expected

Pros

Although I faced challenges with the interface and customer service, I must admit that when it worked, it was a decent platform.

Cons

I faced challenges with customer service, high pricing, and a lack of user-friendliness. Additionally, I experienced billing and contract difficulties with the company.

Works well!

Pros

One thing that really works well for us is how nicely it connects with our AMS, ACGI Software. We've been able to keep payments and checkout inside our AMS while still using the full Elevate site to present and manage our online products. The platform is very flexible and capable of handling a lot. Up to this point, we really haven't run into any roadblocks when trying to bring an idea to life. On top of that the CommPartners team has been better than average when it comes to working with customers.

Cons

My only minor complaint is some of the terminology. For instance the word Components shows up a lot and I am not a big fan of that wording but overall it's been really good.

user-friendly for admins and attendees

Pros

This software is easy to use for everyone. From the admin side it is simple to manage and for webinar attendees, it's just as easy to navigate.

Cons

The only thing I'd mention is that I wish the company were based on the West Coast, though that's absolutely not meant as a criticism.

Like the clean interface

Pros

Its interface looks modern and organized. It supports a wide range of content formats which gives us a lot of flexibility. It also integrates with our member database through single sign-on and that has been very helpful.

Cons

There are quite a few reporting options available but generating reports becomes more challenging as the database grows larger. I'd also like each item record to include user-visible categories.

They have a responsive team

Pros

The company's support and forward-thinking approach really come through in the platform. CommPartners genuinely listens to customers and actually puts that feedback into action which is incredibly refreshing.

Cons

It does have some limitations but it still handles webinars, podcasts and publications without much trouble. Even with those constraints, the team is consistently willing to support your needs and work with you to find a solution.

Was pretty easy to setup

Pros

Getting the site up and running has been a really positive experience overall. It's pretty easy to set up and update pages organize webcasts into groups and sections, create discount codes and manage user profiles. The email templates are included and are simple enough to adjust without much effort. The product creation flow is set up like a step-by-step wizard which makes it easy to follow and the reporting covers everything we currently need. Features such as the Just for You and Featured widgets are especially useful for tailoring the experience for each logged-in user.

Cons

Navigating the credits and testing modules can be a bit tricky especially when trying to confirm whether someone has completed specific sections. We've also run into cases where the system won't let a user continue even after they've completed enough of the current segment. More recently some test scores have gone missing and the automatic sending of test results to our staff only works inconsistently so we've had to manually review things every few days. There are also a few smaller frustrations, like the fact that products always default to sorting from newest to oldest when we'd rather have A-to-Z as the default or at least have the option to set that ourselves. Another limitation is that we still haven't found an efficient way to bundle a physical book that we ship ourselves with a webcast that users can access right away.

clean reports and Modern design

Pros

The platform is user friendly overall and pulling up reports doesn't take much effort. The interface also looks clean, modern and polished. Plus it would be helpful if there were a chat support window available when needed.

Cons

At times the interface can still feel a bit confusing. It would be better to have a favorites feature for quicker navigation and I'd also like the option to process refunds directly through it to PayPal.

strong integration wins

Pros

One thing that really comes through is how much the company's support and forward-looking approach shape the Elevate platform. As the industry changes and association partners send in design requests, the system keeps evolving and those updates are rolled out for everyone to benefit from. They clearly stay committed to ongoing conversations with customers and that continuous feedback loop makes the product stronger overall. The built-in integration with their own webinar system, along with Higher Logic, also makes it a very capable tool for delivering learning programs.

Cons

It handles the core requirements for online learning delivery well. There are still some integrations that haven't arrived yet and from time to time there are minor quirks that need to be sorted out within the system but nothing serious enough to get in the way of using it efficiently.

Simple platform and standout support

Pros

From both the admin and learner sides, Elevate is very user friendly to navigate. Online education has become a big part of our organization's success and the wide range of features in it has helped us build an online learning environment for our members that keeps evolving. Every staff member I have worked with at CommPartners has gone out of their way to help us create the best LMS for our organization, whether that meant troubleshooting something on the back end or planning future features to improve our site. I'd absolutely recommend this LMS to other organizations because it looks polished, is user friendly and working with CommPartners has been a real bonus.

Cons

There really aren't many downsides. The only things I'd still like to see are customizable certificates, the option to keep an mp3 hidden on a product until a specific release date and the ability to add a speaker before the component is fully ready. These are all pretty minor requests and I am confident they'll likely be added down the road.

clean interface and simple setup

Pros

Well from the admin side to the student experience, Elevate LMS has been very easy to use. Also the interface looks polished and the integration and implementation process went very smoothly as well.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints. It seems thoughtfully designed to function well on its own or alongside an AMS or other management software.

steady improvements are just wow

Pros

After spending some time with it the platform started to feel very user friendly and it's clear that Elevate LMS keeps making updates that improve usability. The overall workflow makes sense and the online user tools are laid out in a way that's simple to access when needed.

Cons

Now that I understand the system better, I also know how to ask much better questions. The biggest challenge for me was the learning curve around not speaking the same technical language as the tech team so figuring out how to ask for help properly made the process slower at first.

helpful support and quick setup

Pros

I have been using Elevate LMS since October 2015 and it was very simple to pick up and fit into the projects and systems we already had in place. The support from CommPartners has also been excellent. Whenever I have had a question, needed help getting something to work or just needed a reminder about something I learned at the PEAK Conference in March, their team has been available right away and extremely helpful.

Cons

One limitation is that EventCenter doesn't support VOIP. Since VOIP is the only option we've been using for our webinars, we haven't been able to take advantage of EventCenter yet.

Support offered is of next level

Pros

One of the best parts of Elevate LMS is how well organized it is especially when setting up events in EventCenter. The financial and registrant dashboard is excellent and being able to review registrants through the link is very helpful. Adding a new webinar is also easy and the option to clone one instead of rebuilding it every time saves a lot of effort. The discount feature is also convenient, even though I have had a couple of cases where it behaved oddly and added extra components. When our site was first built, the developers did an amazing job matching it to our existing website so it clearly felt like a Michigan Chamber site. More than anything though the help desk is what really makes this software stand out for us. Over the years, from the two Jennifers who helped us when we started in 2009 to Eve and her team now, the support staff has been outstanding. I really cannot say enough about how much they have done for us. They respond quickly, they are patient and they are incredibly understanding when I am confused about something. In the last month or two, I ran into some unusual problems, including a bad certificate and trying to set up single sign-on and everyone was extremely patient throughout. I also want to mention Rita, because she was just as helpful with some billing issues we had. She listened, took the time to explain things clearly when I did not understand and was very patient through the whole process. Honestly even with some of the wishes I mention below, the amazing staff is a huge reason we continue using it.

Cons

If I had a wish list reports would be at the top. They are difficult to navigate and I still have to keep notes on how to pull survey results. Maybe some of that comes down to my own familiarity with the system but it still feels like reporting should be more easier than it is. I also wish there were a place to add a picture for each webinar. We group ours into categories like HR and EHS and we often use images so registrants can quickly recognize whether a webinar counts toward certain certification credits. The user interface could definitely be simpler as well. I have a lot of people create accounts and the system does not always make it clear whether the account was successfully created so they sometimes end up making a second one. Part of that also seems tied to password strength requirements. Some of our attendees are not very comfortable with computers and I think that whole process could be made much easier for them. A few people get discouraged by the login steps and decide it is too complicated to bother with. I cannot say exactly what the better alternative should be but it often feels like there could be more user-friendly options there. I do know the platform is always being updated which I appreciate. Another thing I would love to see is more lunch-and-learns or webinars about how to use different features or learn about new enhancements. Other programs I use offer sessions like that and they are incredibly valuable.

modern design and helpful support

Pros

The modern design makes the platform much easier to navigate and the features are simple to understand. The CommPartners support team is friendly and always willing to train you, walk you through new features and help you make better use of special tools you might not be taking full advantage of.

Cons

The reporting tools could use some improvement, although the CommPartners team is very willing to accommodate special reporting requests when needed.

Really helpful tool

Pros

It handles the core functions really well. The overall user experience is enjoyable and the platform has a nice look and feel. All in all it's a pretty decent product.

Cons

I'd still like to see more customization options. The interface is good overall but the colors, images and a few other visual elements could look a bit more polished and refined.

Pros

Using it does not require much effort. It's pretty easy to learn and after spending a little time in the platform, everything starts to feel more user friendly.

Cons

Nothing major but I do wish there were more training resources or tutorials available. At times I have to click around a bit before finding what I need but once I figure it out, it becomes much simpler to use from that point on.

reliable platform and responsive support

Pros

Once everything was set up including the more complex SSO setup the platform has been almost perfect for our members. We've had very few issues or glitches and CommPartners always responds quickly whenever questions or problems come up.

Cons

There really isn't anything specific that stands out as a dislike. Because of our SSO setup and our goal of keeping things simple for members, we just don't take advantage of most of the available features.
