Pros
After four years of using Heights Platform, I can honestly say it has earned every bit of praise. When I first began building online courses, I needed a dependable platform that wouldn't leave me wasting hours dealing with technical upkeep. Heights has not only delivered on that but it has gone beyond what I originally expected.
Cons
Honestly nothing major comes to mind. The only feature I'd suggest is the ability to select multiple students at once for export or deletion. Aside from that, it feels perfect.

Whenever I needed help, the customer support team was incredible. They genuinely seem invested in helping users succeed. While I was stuck on a more complicated part of building my course, the team even created a personalized video using my actual course site to walk me through the different options and exactly how to handle it. I was honestly blown away.
Cons
Tech doesn't come naturally to me so some parts of creating the course felt challenging at first. That said, powerful platforms usually come with a learning curve and it really did guide me through the process step by step.

Customer support has been excellent and the AI tools, gamification and product bundling really add a lot to the platform. The fact that it's self-hosted was a huge factor in my decision especially for building and managing my courses. That level of control made Heights Platform stand out for what I needed.
Cons
A few parts of the UI/UX and overall design feel a little outdated and can be somewhat confusing at the beginning although they still work fine once you get familiar with them. There is a bit of a learning curve too but nothing overwhelming. Since the platform includes a lot, it does take some time and commitment to fully get comfortable with everything.

I was able to smoothly migrate two extensive courses, totaling over 140 hours of footage, with ease. The transition from Teachable was seamless and painless, including the notification of students. The customer service was incredibly responsive and attentive.

The support team has felt like one of the strongest parts of this platform. The program setup is polished, professional and clearly well thought out. Honestly this platform and the team behind it have been amazing. At first I got a bit frustrated because I am not very comfortable with tech but they never let me down once. Everyone has been kind, patient and incredibly helpful. If I could give 100000 stars, I would, just to show how much I appreciate them. Any time I get stuck or confused, I send an email and usually get a reply in less than 24 hours. They don't just answer quickly, they actually help by sending screenshots, walking me through the steps and even recording personalized videos when needed. I truly cannot say enough about their support and how much they care. They even built a feature specifically for me because my courses are in Arabic which made things so much easier. They welcome feedback so openly and even though I know I can be very picky and difficult, they stayed patient and supportive the whole time. The platform itself gives you far more than the others out there. I tried five different ones before this and without naming names, most of them sell you a dream and then deliver almost nothing. On top of that their customer service is either rude or takes days to respond and they keep promising calls that never seem to happen. With Heights, everything you need is actually there. The price is also incredibly reasonable, honestly less than what you could spend at a restaurant. I highly recommend this platform. Without them, I probably would have given up on my business. Here, there are no fake promises and no lies.
Cons
The only real difficulty I had was with building the website but I eventually realized I was wasting too much time trying to make everything look perfect when the most important thing is the course content and everything else around it. That was really my only personal struggle and since I am not naturally good with software, I cannot honestly blame the platform for that. So technically, I don't really have any cons. If I had to mention something, it would be that the design is not the fanciest but that's probably just my fashion-loving Parisian side talking. In the end, students and clients don't really care about that, they care about you and what you offer.

Picked up two accounts for this platform to launch and manage online classes, even though I haven't had much time to fully dive in yet since I am juggling a few businesses. Still, I am genuinely impressed by the feature set and very pleased with the steady updates and progress the software keeps making. On top of that the founders, management and the whole team have been fantastic. They're approachable, personable and they truly listen to all of their customers. I rarely stop to leave reviews because I usually have too much going on but this product impressed me enough that I wanted to make time and say it here. Well done and keep it going, guys.
Cons
Honestly I haven't come across any real negatives yet. Sure, there have been a few minor challenges but nothing concerning especially because I am always able to share feedback and suggestions and the team consistently makes an effort to consider new ideas and input. So when it comes to cons, I'd say none. Like any software, there's always room for ongoing improvement but that's just part of how products evolve.

One thing that really stands out in Heights Platform is how strongly it focuses on helping people actually follow through on what they learn and turn that passion into real action. The platform has features and built-in workflows that encourage users to finish the material and put it into practice. The Projects feature is a perfect example since it pushes people to apply their learning in real life instead of just consuming content. The Badges and Certificates feature is also a big plus because it lets you reward different milestones and motivation triggers that help drive course completion. Another big advantage is the variety of ways you can present and sell your content. The Challenges feature is especially useful because it lets you quickly reset and relaunch challenges with just a few clicks. Pre-sells are also simple to set up through the rolling launch model. On top of that having individual landing pages for products and bundled offers makes promotion and marketing much more effective.
Cons
At first the community side of the platform felt pretty limited. Since then though it has done a major overhaul of that area and it now is much more modern and visually appealing. It has become a genuinely useful way to keep members coming back, checking in regularly and staying engaged inside the platform. The page builder can still seem a bit confuding at times. And even so the finished pages do look good in the end, it's just not quite as user friendly as some of the other builders I have used.

Getting through all the back-end features during just a month of the free trial was pretty challenging so our best experience with the platform ended up being customer service. Several team members proactively checked in to see if we needed assistance and every issue we ran into was solved within just one or two email exchanges. It also helps a lot if you know someone familiar with Java, CSS or HTML especially for customizing the landing page or specific links. The free stock photo library is a nice bonus for building content and being able to add a demo to the course was something I really appreciated.

From a designer's perspective, the landing page layout choices feel a bit too limited.

The course outline is really well laid out which makes the platform easy to use and helps keep everything on track. I also like being able to bundle different things together in one place without having to pay extra for separate products.
Cons
I wish it had a native integration with ConvertKit and other email platforms. It would also be better if live streaming could be done directly inside the platform. On top of that student replies can be confusing to manage because when you answer one student, it sends you back into the course and takes quite a few steps to return to the same area.

Heights Platform keeps getting improved with useful new features. One of the latest additions was the option to build communities and that has been a really valuable upgrade. The platform is fairly simple to use and manage which makes daily administration much easier. I especially appreciate being able to connect it with other tools through KonnectzIT or Integrately.
Cons
The design hasn't really progressed much over time. There are now a few more options to adapt the look a bit to your own brand identity but overall it still is somewhat outdated visually. I'd really like to see more improvements in this area going forward, along with templates that would make the learning platform feel more modern.

Running courses on this platform has been a really positive experience. It gives me everything I need in a course platform such as I can host multiple courses, training programs, webinar recordings and more, while controlling exactly who gets access and for how long. I am also very satisfied with the pricing, the interface and the overall technical performance, as everything works reliably. The customer support has been especially impressive as they are very responsive, proactive and genuinely helpful. They continue improving the product and it is like they truly care about their users. They really deserve to do well. I am not affiliated in any way, just genuinely a very happy customer.
Cons
One thing that would make me even happier is having a bit more information available through the API especially around user reporting. Even basic details would help a lot, like the number of users enrolled in each course along with general information such as email addresses. I'd also be extremely grateful for a way to bulk create or edit courses for example, by uploading a CSV or XLS file to generate the course structure, description, title, slug and similar fields. In a world that keeps getting more automated, features like that would make the platform far more useful for my needs. I have already shared this feedback with the team directly and I am confident it's something they may add in the future.
