perfect tool for our company!!

Pros

This platform feels like a Swiss Army knife for workplace learning and I've found it works well for companies of any size. Customer support makes me feel valued and I can always rely on them for knowledgeable answers. I also notice that the platform offers great functionality for the price.

Cons

I don't like the legacy data model (the database) that it's product relies on. We've run into situations repeatedly where the logic inside the database was impossible for us to follow. That's mainly because the tables don't have defined relationships so it's hard to see how things connect. If you want to build and maintain your own reports, you really need to understand the DB model and that lack of clarity makes report work much more difficult.

Clear stats, great course access

Pros

The statistics and progress tracking are clear and I use them to monitor target groups effectively. I also appreciate the great options for creating and accessing courses.

Cons

Onboarding target groups can be tough and I find it frustrating that each user must complete a specific login. I also need training content to be mobile-ready so people can access it anytime and anywhere.

Excellent performance and easy data access

Pros

Performance has been excellent and I can do almost anything with the platform. I find that all my data is easy to access, including Excel exports and I've never run into major interface issues.

Cons

Pricing is my main issue and I feel the admin training isn't organized clearly enough, I would prefer a structure that shows exactly who needs which information.

easy backend, versatile configuration

Pros

The backend is really feasible to use, the toolbar, search and functional reference make navigation simple. I also value the platform's flexibility, having multiple group types, classification options and configurable permission settings gives it a lot of versatility.

Cons

The built-in editors feel basic and I miss having an HTML editor for composing booking emails. I also wish I could insert hyperlinks directly into course descriptions.

Frequent bugs, slow responses

Pros

For me the automatic correspondence works well and I think the reporting is okay.

Cons

Bugs and unexplained errors come up frequently and I notice it takes a long time for reported issues to get a response.

customizable without relying on support

Pros

Speaking as an admin, we're able to choose from multiple ways to tailor the platform to our specific requirements without having to rely on it for help.

Cons

The text/email editor is limited and I find it frustrating that it doesn't support full HTML and has a character limit. I also end up doing a lot of manual updates whenever this tool rolls out features that need to apply to existing courses.

attentive account manager

Pros

The service desk has been helpful and responsive. I find my account manager especially attentive and usually reacts quickly when there's an escalation or I need something on short notice.

Cons

Functional limits often frustrate me and I notice many of my requested changes get turned down by product management. I also find it impossible to alter the language flag in the catalog or choose multiple locations for a course template which forces awkward workarounds. Making the booking form larger and including those fields in reports feels complicated and I also notice the system won't auto-detect the manager, requiring them to reconfirm a booking which seems redundant.

Pros

I'm not entirely sure how to answer that question but I've noticed that the core features perform adequately and I feel that's about where it stops.

Cons

Out-of-the-box features feel restricted and I find the service desk and ticketing module especially limited.

Configure everything without consultants

Pros

As an admin I can handle many tasks without needing a consultant and I've been able to configure almost every aspect while knowing the system can adapt to virtually any use case.

Cons

I often create my own guidelines for features I don't use frequently and I've found that while most pages are consistent, a few functions still require special know-how.

impressive flexibility, helpful support

Pros

The flexibility of the platform is impressive and I find the support team very helpful whenever I need guidance.

Cons

New features requiring extra payment is frustrating and I also feel that many parts are difficult to configure if you're not in the system daily. I would like to see more manuals and clearer help texts.

Cons

Has many features!!

Pros

Having worked with this tool as an implementation partner, I found the project completed on schedule and within budget and I also appreciate the huge number of useful out-of-the-box capabilities it offers.

Cons

The user experience works for everyday tasks but I feel it could be more simple. I also notice that the backend is dense and detailed which requires great training for teams to use it effectively.

Expert LMS for Pros

Pros

This Learning Management System offers everything necessary for a corporate environment. It allows me to define learning materials, create courses and programs, schedule and prebook courses, establish workflows for required courses, and set up reminder emails for missed due dates. The user interface can be customized to align with our corporate identity and design guidelines. I have the flexibility to arrange predefined content blocks in various locations on the frontend. Additionally, I can tailor every attribute within course rooms to meet our specific needs. The language details in the frontends can also be easily configured. It's possible to define different user roles and groups for enhanced customization.

Cons

The User Interface requires some adjustment. It is a system designed for experts, and users who only manage courses or attendees occasionally might feel a bit lost. Dedicated users who work on course management full-time are recommended. The underlying data model is quite outdated, with no references between database tables. Without proper documentation or expert guidance from IMC, building your own select statements can be challenging.

Comprehensive suite for complex needs

Pros

This suite of eLearning tools is really comprehensive and I find it works well for any organization, no matter how complex the requirements. I also appreciate how easily I can set up individuals and groups, create programs with different profile types and manage everything efficiently. The range of eLearning features like micro-learning, gamification, badges, continuous personal development, Learning Management, proof of competency and more are all configurable straight out of the box. I also notice that customized courseware and high-quality off-the-shelf content from partners make managing the entire eLearning ecosystem much easier. The upcoming process guide toolkit looks promising and I feel it will provide context-sensitive, just-in-time guidance that's invaluable for complex and changing requirements.

Cons

The local service team is good and very responsive though I notice that bespoke features and customizations routed through Germany can be a bit slow. I also found configuring all the backend functionality tough until recently but I feel the new GUI version should fix most of that. The system documentation felt ordinary and I think the upcoming process guide toolkit will greatly reduce the need for it.
