“Brings together everything
Pros
A big advantage here is how well it integrates with the Joomla content management system which lets us handle both website content and e-learning courses in one place. Another strong point is the responsive LMS design, since a key goal of e-learning is providing customer support on mobile devices and it does that really well.
Cons
The only downside for me is the pricing structure which feels a bit unsatisfying especially because some features come with extra charges.

“Impressive Platform to Create and Manage Online Courses
Pros
I discovered JoomlaLMS when a client asked us to create a platform where their target readers/students could access the course gradually. Even though I involved another expert in the project, learning about and setting up JoomlaLMS was relatively easy. It provides instructors or website owners with the necessary tools to create online courses for learners. Teachers can effectively use images, videos, tests, and assignments to create engaging content. The layout is simple, and the software generates detailed reports to help instructors assess learners.
Cons
Setting up JoomlaLMS and structuring an online course demands some technical skill. Without the relevant expertise or experience, it takes time to comprehend how it functions. However, there are always valuable online resources available to assist you in the setup process.

“outdated videos and unfinished setup
Pros
At the time I purchased it, the biggest appeal was how many features it offered. The problem is that the training videos are extremely outdated and some of them do not even have sound. It is also a very complicated program to work with. I paid for installation and I was surprised by how different the final product was from the demo site I originally signed up for.
Cons
On top of that I paid to have a homepage created and they never actually completed it. Now I am left with a half-finished website that looks pretty bad. The large time zone difference makes communication with the company frustrating and while tech support tries to help, it still takes far too long to get responses.

“user-friendly and time-saving
Pros
Working with Joomla LMS is the best and user-friendly so tasks get done quickly and it saves a lot of time. Even people without much IT knowledge can use it comfortably. The way it's built, along with the available modules, makes it very simple to work with.
Cons
There isn't anything specific to complain about, though having a few more video tutorials would be helpful.

“Great online teaching platform
Pros
As an educator being able to reach students wherever they are matters a lot and JoomlaLMS has really helped with that. When I am teaching a class or running in-person training, I can still provide online instruction for students who cannot physically attend. That ability to teach and support people who aren't there live has been the most valuable part of it for me. Another big plus is that it's a fully integrated learning management system and is easy to use. A lot of LMS platforms I have seen come with a steep learning curve which often discourages people from actually using them but it is much easier for users to understand and adopt. I also like the customization options, since I can turn features on that I need and disable the ones I don't. That makes the system even more user-friendly and convenient.
Cons
Honestly there isn't much I dislike about it. The only real downside that comes to mind is the price which feels a bit high compared with similar LMS platforms. That said, it does come with strong functionality and a very supportive customer service team. I'd also like to use it for private classes I run outside the university but the cost is too high to make that practical. If there were a lower-priced version or a simplified package, I'd be able to use it more often and would feel more comfortable recommending it to smaller learning groups. Right now, though, the pricing is still too expensive for private classes and smaller organizations to really benefit from it.

“Powerful platform
Pros
Among online teaching and learning platforms, this one is like one of the most dependable options available. It already offers plenty of capabilities and there is still a lot of room to expand and make it even more powerful over time. The core software is very good too, plus it supports importing and exporting in different formats and the support team is excellent.
Cons
There are only a few downsides. The price is fairly high but it feels justified when you consider everything that is included. Also, not every language is available yet.

“Has the best features
Pros
This LMS is one of the best options on the market. Getting it up and running is easy too and using it day to day is very user friendly. The interface is extremely good and it includes all the functions and advanced features you would expect from a strong LMS. It also works well across every device and platform I have tried, whether it's Mac, PC, mobile or tablet and it handles all kinds of content without issues. Honestly it feels nearly perfect.
Cons
A small downside is that having a bit of IT knowledge helps, since some features come with a lot of configuration options.

“Offer top support anytime
Pros
Everything about it is good and getting through the functions and features is simple. The platform is well polished and focuses on the tools that actually matter instead of stuffing in extras that may look nice but are not really necessary. It also helps a lot that there are extensive Joomla resources backing the development.
Cons
There is not much that comes to mind as a real downside. Of course, there is always space to make it even better, like adding more languages and expanding the overall experience.

“reliable fit for elearning
Pros
Across the different types of eLearning content we create as a company, it fits our needs really well. It's also easy to navigate and consistently reliable which are easily the two most important qualities in an LMS. Since it's built on Joomla, the user management and database setup was very dependable. We also never run into problems importing content from rapid eLearning tools like Captivate or Storyline which is actually quite uncommon in the LMS space.
Cons
Course creation could definitely be improved a bit. That said, there is third-party software available that helps fill that gap. Reporting also feels a little limited in certain areas, although I have been told updates are coming soon to address that.

“Worked well for us
Pros
Right from the start it worked without much setup and fits nicely into the Joomla platform. The pricing feels fair for what it offers and the support has been outstanding whenever needed.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve at first, although it is not too difficult to get past. Also, if you want access to a universal question database, that requires paying extra for the premium option.

“flexible LMS with responsive support
Pros
We needed to upgrade a client's online training platform and after testing several LMS solutions for Joomla, this one came across as the most complete and adaptable option. The migration went quite smoothly overall and we also made use of their custom modifications service to adjust a few smaller features to better match our client's requirements. On top of that their support team has been excellent as they are quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
Cons
The flexibility of the plugin does mean some settings aren't immediately user friendly. That said once you go through the documentation and reach out to support, it becomes much easier to understand and configure. I'd also really appreciate more built-in layout and design choices especially the ability to select a theme that better fits a company's branding. I have managed around this with custom styling but it would be much more convenient if clients could adjust the overall look and feel on their own.

“Adds real value
Pros
Within the first week of launching the site, we signed our first client and our training business immediately started reaching an international audience. The Sales Advantage is no longer completely tied to work schedules and we are not limited by location anymore. Adding online learning has opened up a whole new side of the business, giving us another revenue stream and an additional option to offer clients for their training needs. We are now able to support individuals committed to self-development anywhere in the world, as well as companies of any size. When we are brought in for onsite training, we can also provide online courses for team members who could not attend in person and for new hires who join after the training dates. That adds real value for our clients while also creating more revenue opportunities for The Sales Advantage.
Cons
I feel like the yearly subscription fee can feel expensive at first especially for a smaller business. I decided to take the chance based on a recommendation from someone I trusted. Once I really understood everything that came with it, I was honestly amazed by how powerful and feature-packed it is. For example, on my previous website I was paying $20 a month just for a shopping cart and that functionality is already included here. That is only one of many examples. A lot of companies charge excessive support fees even for very basic help and while I can understand that for more complicated setups, that has not been my experience here. On the few occasions I needed assistance, the support team responded quickly, helped me resolve my questions and I was not charged any extra fees.

“powerful CRMS with strong security
Pros
At Sofema Aviation Services we needed the most capable solution available and Joomla delivered with one of the most powerful content management systems out there. We were also especially pleased with its security features, since it stands out as one of the more secure open-source platforms and provides great protection for maintaining confidential data.

“proper LMS powerhouse
Pros
The software is fully built into Joomla and works as a complete learning management system with a very user friendly setup. A lot of LMS platforms tend to be confusing and come with a steep learning curve for both students and teachers which often means people end up not using them properly. That has not been the case here. The overall logic is easy to understand and it helps that you can keep things simple by turning on only the features you need and disabling the ones you do not.
Cons
One downside is that the forum feature from earlier versions is no longer included. You can still connect a Joomla forum such as Kunena but making it truly course-specific inside the LMS is not easy. It is also not the cheapest option especially since the license is encoded for a single domain. That said, the pricing structure is fair, with plans based on student numbers, yearly contracts and even a permanent license option. The default video conferencing integration is handled through GoToMeeting which is convenient if you need it but it does make that part of the system fairly costly.
